    Welcome!

I have created this topic so that we have one main list of everybody's January 2006 due dates. You can then easily find other ladies who are due around the same time as you, if you feel that you would like to chat to somebody who is at around the same stage.

If you would like to be added, please make sure that you reply to this thread by clicking the [IMG] button (over on the left, just above my picture) and stating when your due date is. I'll update the list each time a reply is received, and the list will remain right here at the top of this thread so that it's easy to find.

(It's important to reply to this thread, as I may miss your date if you start a new topic. So just click the reply button above and let me know!)

So am I :D due on the 28th!

Sarah, I was talking about you to my DH the other night about how we are the same age and due on the same day.

    How are your symptoms going?

My only current symptom is the dreaded two-hourly nausea, but luckily I haven't actually been sick.

My boobs aren't hurting as much and my last very tired day was last thursday.

    How are you doing?

Hi Sarah, I'm not too bad. My boobs have stopped hurting too, they were really really sore for a while but are ok now. I am feeling very ill, light headed and the smell of anything I don't like makes me want to puke, although luckily I haven't yet. I am still very tired but i think that is slowly getting better.
Today I ate the strangest thing, but it was delicious - a fried egg sandwich with cheese, salad cream and sliced banana!! mmmmmm! :D

    Wow that is wierd! :D :D :D

I got a craving for a corned beef sandwich last night. I would rather not have a craving for rubbish processed meat like that, but I suppose you can't help what you fancy.

I have been extremely lucky in the food stakes.

I am able to eat virtually anything. I have gone off my favourite porridge, jacket potatoes and chocolate.

But I do seem to be able to smell spicy foods and I am still having the odd coffee, which you are supposed to go off. Not many though.

My nausea strikes every two hours which only goes away by eating, so I am trying to eat as healthily as possible. I gain fat really easily, and really don't want to put on excessive amounts of it.

I feel really sorry for people who are actually being very sick like Sami. It must be a nightmare! I am counting my blessings and feeling very fortunate.

Also my boobs are hurting less and my last bout of bad tiredness was last thursday, so hopefully i am getting over that stage as well.

I have my midwife appointment today, not really sure what to expect.

    Hi Sarah

Thanks for remembering my midwife appointment. It went really well, and was infomative, although it wasn't as expected because she didn't take my blood pressure, weigh me, take a blood test or a urine test. The urine test annoyed me because I had a massive cold drink in the car on the way from work and had a very full bladder by the time I got there. i then proceeded to pee in one of those really tiny pots which is quite difficult and then they didn't use my urine!

However they did advise me on all my ante-natal appontments and have arranged my scan so everything is fine. She also told me I was having a low-risk pregnancy, which was good.

I haven't really felt light-headed but I am putting that down to the fact that I am eating so well and keeping everything down.

My tiredness and sore boob thing have also subsided. yippee!

I'm still getting light headedness mate! It's horrible! Just trying not to get up to quick or lay down to quick or move around too quick - they all seem to make it worse. :)
