**********january 2016 mummies**********

fingers crossed for final week Riccy!

i'm getting really impatient too, saw the midwife this morning and baby's still 'free' and she was talking about possible sweep in the next appointment and briefly about inductions at 41 weeks, i really don't want to still be waiting in 3 weeks time !
i'm with you SAHF on the sleeping, currently taking 4+ hrs to fall asleep and then coz i'm full of a cough-cold waking up about an hour later with a coughing fit, then another hour to get back to sleep again, rinse and repeat till morning. getting to the stage where i dread going to bed because it's so frustrating!

Midwife went good this morning. I'm booked for a sweep next Monday - she thinks I'll go before that though !! She's the professional !

We had a home visit from the midwife today to go over the assessment for a home birth. Everything is now in place, but if I change my time at the time I can always go to hospital if I want. The only thing making me unsure atm is knowing that there could be a wait for an ambulance... which obviously isn't something you want to think about when having a baby! I guess we shall see how it goes and how I feel at the time...

We have our 38 week appointment tomorrow. Interested to see what baby's measurement is this week!

Good luck! Got my 36wk appt and between the awful sickness and backache I really need to slow down. Dh thought it a good idea to go and get wardrobe for our son which led to me sorting his room.

So one more mw appt left until baby comes. Getting scary now as just 22 days to go eek! Loads needs doing to make me happy in the house so tomorrow focusing on getting them done. BP was low today so been told to rest not looking forward to resuming the school runs next week

We had our 38 week midwife appointment today. Blood pressure was higher than normal but still in the OK boundary. There was some protein in my urine though, so that's been sent off to be checked, and baby is now measuring 2 weeks ahead...

I finished work today and already feel like I have cabin fever. Started crying earlier over nothing (I'm not one to cry often!) and have had a couple of days of feeling pretty darn anxious. Hoping it's just the hormones....

Im just so fed up I hurt everywhere my butt, legs, back and cannot get comfy. Been on mat leave for a week and had ds off with me he goes back next week so need to spend that time doing the online shop and planning meals.so hubby can crack on

try not to worry too much about the measurements SAHF, just come back after a growth scan (very glad they fitted me in, called yest and they said they weren't even looking at appointments till next week :O ) and she's not huge at all, right on the original line that was done and currently just over 7lbs, i guess position/way the bump is etc can cause it

so relieved, was terrified i was carrying a baby elephant

Ok girls ...
Time to get these babies out.
Daisy was born this morning 31/12/2015 at 8.50am and weighs 6 lb 10oz
Feeding on the boob like a pro - very sore nips tho !!!!

Who's next ???

Well midwife had been estimating around 8lbs (apparently because I'm a big girl, baby would be big, despite always being either on the right measurement weeks wise or just 1cm ahead), so I'm not too worried. Plus, surely if baby isn't engaged (after being breech for those two weeks), then it wouldn't be as easy to take an accurate measurement? As s/he is still moving about a fair bit. We shall see what next week's measurement brings ha!

Think hoping may have had her twins ? Can't remember which day she was due to go in

Hopefully I'll be soon (fingers crossed) one week til due but baby's not looking like she's planning on going anywhere !

Yes ladies I had my twins on Tuesday :) Owen arrived at 9.30 weighing 6lb 11oz followed by Zach at 9.33 weighing 5lb 0.5oz. Section went amazing, such a great experience. We got out yesterday afternoon. So in love, didn't know it was even possible!

Congrats riccy...your wee one was lighter than only one of mine - no one can work out where I had them  certainly wasn't expecting one to be almost 7lb, wasn't even expecting them to be 6lb!
