**********january 2016 mummies**********

Tillie, Cormac is beautiful! Glad he's doing well. Try not to worry too much about having to split your time, you will soon be home together and this will all be a distant memory.

Had our last scan today and booked in for our section. All very real now knowing when they'll be here :)

What date hoping? Ive been at the hospital for 3 hrs today getting monitored after some pink yesterday, brought back a lot of memories walking through the doors from last time.Glad theu checked me over feel reassured now.

32+3 and starting to feel so tired now feel as though i can sleep forever

We must be similar dates, I'm 30th Jan. Everything is a bit of an effort now. I'm working till 37wks... Why did I think that was a good idea ?!

I'm working until 38+5! Definitely a bad idea haha!

Crazy fool!! All I can think is that my Son arrived at 37 +3 so I'm a little concerned. Really don't wanna be delivering my baby at work Ahhaha

Oh how exciting. It's great knowing so you can be all prepared. ...we were not ready at all haha.
Best advice I can offer after my section, have stuff in for trapped wind. Andrews, peppermint tea, windeeze, that kinda thing. Especially if places are closed over Xmas. ..I forgot how bad the wind was after a section. X

Well luckily I work from home, so it seemed like I would be throwing money away if I didn't work until quite close to my due date. But at the same time, I am definitely finding it harder and harder to resist my bed, I'm tired all the time nowadays.

I'm hoping that I am either on time or late....

The 29th, it's not their protected theatre day as that's usually a Thursday so at the moment I'm the only one on the list so will be first but if there's anything else comes in then it could change. She said they will be delivered that week though but as far as we know it's the 29th. Can't believe they'll be here 3 weeks today!

Glad you're feeling reassured :)

Thanks for the advice Tillie, hope you're both doing well.

so envious of you guys who know when the babies are coming! i'm so impatient, i can imagine i'll be the last to go and just end up watching all the baby news come in getting more and more impatient!

Same here, we're pretty much one week apart with delivery.

I had my last scan, measurements and twin clinic today and booked in for my steroid injections at the end of next week. Was told they prioritise twin deliveries with C-Sections unless there's an emergency so should be taken early morning.

I'm in the 27th and 28th for steroids and pre-op. Unfortunately I won't be prioritised as it's not their day for theatre, just hope nothing comes in as I'll have psyched myself up for that day!

Hopefully all goes to plan for you :) I think my hospital has a separate theatre room for maternity.

Haha I think I'll go overdue... we'll be battling for that last spot!

How is everyone doing?

I think baby is starting to engage. I've been getting intensely sharp pains 'down there' that I can only assume is baby moving down and my pelvis repositioning. Ouch!

Would be much better if I could sleep, I'm far too sore when lying down. One of my babies has been engaged for weeks the other one has completely turned the other way again. Ha I know those pains, I've to be careful how I sit too as I feel I'm pushing even more so on my bladder.

Haha I had that issue last night. I slouched down a little on the sofa so OH could feel baby moving, instantly regretted it! The position made baby really push down on my bladder and I had to quickly get up for a toilet dash ha!

We still have no idea if baby is breech or head down again she is provi g difficult to palpitate. Got mw on weds, it doesn't really matter with me having a section but I just like to know. Im down to the boring jobs at home now that have to be done so sorted out sons bedroom, hope to get another sort out done after Christmas as he is a proper hoarder!! My bedroom has paperwork everywhere since the office went so I have to tackle that next week. 3 more shifts left now until mat leave so just a week to go

Battling on as ever girls, on the countdown to Xmas now then baby time.
Finding it harder and harder each day with Olly, some ahole parked so close to me today I physically couldn't get him in the car because my belly wouldn't fit !!! Had to battle getting him in the other side !! Fair to say I was pissed off !!

How's everyone's appointments falling over Xmas ? My mw has booked me for another appointment on Monday where I'll be 37 weeks and then said she doesn't know after that

Xx

I'm fine, hubs on the other hand is not so good! He slipped on a wet floor at work today and went over on his ankle. Just before 3 he arrived home and looked in agony! I've never known him to complain about being sore and he even asked me to ring the doctors - I don't think he's even been to the doctors once since we got together so I knew he must be sore. Turns out he's torn the tendon off the bone in his foot (think that's what he said, either tendon or ligament anyway lol) so he's now laid up and can hardly walk! Doctor said it's going to take 3-4 weeks to heal...babies are going to be here in 19 days  he could get a cast but Dr advised against it if he can manage to take the pain as he'd be out of action for at least 6 weeks. His boss has ordered he's not to go to work tomorrow which is good as the Dr said pain will be 10 times worse tomorrow once the bruising etc comes out.

He feels terrible because I'm now having to run round after him. His dad is now on standby for hospital if I go early but hopefully hubs should be able to drive again once the pain eases.

But yeah, I'm doing fine

Kelly I bet you can't wait to finish work! That's come round really quick, I remember when you still had 5 weeks left.

Riccy we've not got any more appointments before our section on the 29th (apart from my steroids and pre-op) but I think I'm going to see if I can get an appointment with the midwife next week just to get my BP and urine checked. I forgot to ask the consultant if I was to go back to the midwife so I'll just go anyway if I can get an appointment.

3 shifts Kelly? bet you're looking forward to finishing now!

what a pain Riccy! i keep trying to squeeze past people at work and realising my belly is in the way !
got a 36w appointment with the mw on tues, she seems to be quite busy at the moment so not sure when the next one will be

6 work days left till i'm off, got the countdown going ! pretty sure babys still head down and somewhat engaged since she's nearly always hiccuping quite low down and giving me daggers! planning a trip to see my family next weekend so as long as she stays put til a week on sunday i'm happy for her to come any time after

ouch hoping that sounds really painful! hope your hub heals quickly and the babies stick to their schedule ! no overdoing it running around after him!

Definitely not overdoing it beanie, just making tea lol! He usually does it but I think I can just about manage  poor dogs aren't going to get a walk for a while though but the weather has been so horrid lately I don't think they'll complain anyway.

Got the health visitor coming tomorrow afternoon so now hubs can meet her too
