**********january 2016 mummies**********

Can they do anything about it Riccy ? have you got any meds or anything to clear it up or are they waiting till baby's here? hope you're not suffering as much with leakage today i imagine that's pretty uncomfortable

welcome Lewa :)

Glad all is okay riccy and hope the leaking stops soon!

So as I expected the girls had arranged a baby shower for me. Just a quiet one with food, drinks and lots of laughs. I got some small gifts and they've paid for us to have a newborn photoshoot once the babies arrive :cloud9:

Spent a few hours at pregnancy assessment last night.
They thought my waters were leaking slowly. After an hour on the monitor and a good internal examination (ouch) I have an infection on my cervix and a water infection. The infection on my cervix is causing increased watery discharge - it's literally soaking through pads. Iv had no pains or contractions or anything - just this awful leakage. Baby girl is now head down - which is a total bonus but don't I know about it today - I have a right waddle on xxx

I was the same last night - thought there was a possibility I was leaking fluid so got hooked up and then the doctor checked my cervix, said its still shut and no leakage, I don't think by the sounds of it I had as much fluid as you I just noticed my shorts were really wet - sorry tmi. They never detected contractions or nothing when I was hooked up so peace of mind.

I'm awaiting a call from the doctors when the test results come back at the hospital - knowing my doctors though I will probably get a call after baby is born. I'm not In any pain or anything - just very wet. I'm just changing my pad more often now and wearing thicker pads as the mw told me off for wearing dailies haha
Xxx

Gosh it's been an eventful week for us January ladies, hasn't it? Hope everyone is doing OK now.

I'm struggling the past few days. Baby is SO strong in his/her movements, it's keeping me up at night, really strong day and night to the point where I'm just a walking swear box at how sharp and intense some japs and rolls are. Absolutely exhausted!

Been trying to sort the house out, chucking things out, reorganising, putting baby stuff around the house where it needs to be instead of all jammed in the nursery. Could do with some more energy, that's for sure!

Hey girls. Getting a quick catch up with all the goings on.
Hope the pains all settle soon for you. Keep those baby's in a while longer x
Cormac is doing good. Still tube fed. I'm expressing and using donor milk to top up.
He's off oxygen but still in an incubator. Starting to develop a temper which is so cute. .Cuddles are still restricted to 30 mins before a feed. Trying to be here for as many feeds as I can. But hospital is an hour away so it's hard.
Recovering really well. Standing up straight and walking is much easier today. Every day I notice a big change.

He's gorgeous Tillie! Glad you're getting some cuddles in and the feeding sounds like it's working for you. He's a very lucky boy to have you as his mummy! Have they given you any estimation on how long it'll be until he can come home?

he's so cute! glad you're both doing well and hope you get to take him home soon! xx

We are hoping for Xmas week. In and around on when he was due to be sectioned. .they are still working from his gestational age. He needs to make the switch now to all oral feeds and gaining weight.
Is hard trying to juggle everything with the other boys at home and torn between time with them and hospital. X

32+3 and starting to feel so tired now feel as though i can sleep forever

I hope he manages to come home Christmas week Tillie :) Try not to get too stressed over dividing your time. He has a good team looking after him at the hospital and you'll soon all be home together to enjoy Christmas and settle down to life with a new addition to the family!

Tiredness is definitely overwhelming this week. There's so much I need and want to get done, but I just have no energy. I keep reading that you're meant to get an energy spurt the last few weeks, I'm still waiting for it to arrive! 35 weeks on Tuesday, and all I want to do is sleep forever.

Oh gosh, how exciting! Are you nervous at all or all excitement now?!

Yeah getting slightly nervous, 2 weeks tomorrow but my auntie keeps saying they will come earlier as one is so far down. Hopefully not I'm resting as much as I can x
