***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

Caleb is my first choice but OH isn't so keen.

Randomly it was OH that suggested it for us....it's probably one of his favourite rugby players but as long as I'm none the wiser that's fine by me lol! x

Rowan is currently first choice for our boy, although still getting my head around it as hubby only suggested it on Christmas Day!

Think there may be another January baby here..... Have a look at TC's thread

X

Hahah I was wondering if everyone else was keeping their name a secret!!!

We've gone for Molly/Mollie but can't decide on a spelling- our son is Freddie so I think Mollie but not sure!! X

Spallerina, my brother is called Rowan so I'm biased as I love the name. You can also spell it Rohan but same pronunciation :)

We really like it! Partly because the other name we love (Oliver) is so popular at the moment, but we only know one Rowan and it is way past 100 in the ranking of popular boys names at the moment.

Beatrice is 95th in one poll, not in the top 100 in some of the other polls?

Anyone know the actual "official" baby name list for 2014? There seems to be loads of different ones?

We don't know any other Beatrice's either. Nor any James' (oddly enough and his name is well popular!!)

X

I have to say I know a Bea but only one. I think it's going to be one of those names that gains popularity, but certainly not enough to worry about at all.

If I'm right, I've seen a 2014 list on baby centre?

The office of national statistics publish an official list based on the UK births registered... Google ONS 2014 baby names - think the mid year one is most recent published about October xx

Right, I'm in a mood with hubby (too boring to go into) so I'm in bed with my nips out and my raspberry leaf tea after having jalapeños with my tea and walking around all day in the hope to get this baby OUT OF MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Jolly that did make me giggle. I need to start thinking about eviction plans, I'm really keen not to go overdue because I know I'd end up being induced again. Anyone tried or trying clary sage oil??

No but I've heard of the clary sage oil, just not looked into it much.

My boobies are a bit sore now, I don't think she's ready to come out so don't want to push it!

So frustrating- a)I'm absolutely miserable this time round and b) I seriously want to avoid c section on 12th!!! That gives me 8 whole days- just hope my body can do it! X

Jolly I've just been doing some reading about the evidence around different methods to bring on labour. Apparently with nipple stimulation it's supposed to be an hour at a time, alternating between sides every 10-15 minutes, three times a day! I'm going to start setting alarms on my phone.....

That's a bit intense isn't it!! I'm not sure I could manage a whole hour never mind three times a day!!

I managed 15mins on each side and my boobies got a bit too sore to carry on as I'd done the same earlier this morning.

I can feel tightenings in my uterus when I do it so I do believe it can work, but I agree that Babba probably needs to be ready- I guess at 38 weeks she's probably still more comfortable than I am!!! Hahaha!!

Sorry for delay!
Carnat, they haven't offered me a scan as I'm happy with movements.
In fact, little one still seems to be going gymnastics in there so, I am either uber stretchy, or baby may be a little small.
Slightly worried that because of how much they are moving, they may be in an awkward birthing position but until it happens I can't worry about that!

So induction tomorrow... I've been so busy wanting baby here it has only just sunk in how much it's going to hurt, lol.
I'm a bit gutted I won't be able to have a water birth though as with Izak, although I only made in the pool for 5 Minutes, it seemed to make his entrance very smooth.

As for names, we are set :0)

Eli Tobias for a boy
Edith peppyr for a girl ( although DH wants this the other way round - I think she would get too much stick from people. We've had enough just for mentioning we like it, lol)

Hope you ladies are all well anyway!
Providing I can get my wifi sorted at my local hospital I'll start a labour thread Monday (d-day)

Hannah x

Sorry you are feeling miserable Jolly, but your description of last night did make me giggle. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself now too. I literally feel like I need a wee constantly but can only do a dribble unless I have had tons to drink and then have a full bladder. I'm also seriously constipated with bad piles and no amount of lactulose or fruit and water etc is working. It's like my digestive system has just shut itself down.

Good luck for tomorrow Bumpage. Looking forward to updates and pics when baby is here :)

I can't be arsed with that amount of nipple stimulation to be honest so I'll just have to suffer on until she arrives lol
