Nat that's awful, I'd be terrified. So glad James is ok though.

Had my first antenatal class last night. Was ok. Hoping to get a bit more info, maybe in the next few weeks.

Going out with friends tomorrow to a psychic evening, I don't think I'm going to get a one to one reading. But skeptical about these things anyway. Would any of you ladies get a psychic reading while pregnant. Been told by a couple of people to to. Going to the main floor show after it but think I will give the one to one a miss.

Mrs w I had a 1:1 reading when I was 11 weeks with ds. I think some won't give you a reading while pregnant but I didn't know this and we hadn't shared our news yet. So the guy told me I'd have two boys, the first much sooner than expected! At the end I told him I was pregnant and he smiled and said he knew. He didn't mention anything about losing our little girl. Whether that was to protect me or he was guessing at things I've no idea. He did tell me an awful lot though!

Nat, I'd feel the same as you. I would have preferred to have known as soon as it happened, even if everything was fine. In fact, I think I would have liked to go pick my son up straight away in my own car just in case he was shook up and wanted/needed mummy. Glad it was all ok but what a scare.

Wow! Congratulations Sattie and welcome little David-how exciting!

We have anti-natal class tomorrow which feels like another scary step towards everything being so close & real now!

OH been busy the last couple of days painting nursery so just waiting on a new carpet before we can put cot up and I can wash stuff and pack hospital bag!!

Thank you ladies it won't let me upload pics using my phone so will have to wait till I get home, David is doing great he no longer needs help with breathing fingers crossed he will be out of his incubator later on this morning and into a cot, I have managed to express 2 lots of milk for him wasn't much but enough for what he needs at the moment and I should be able to put him on the breast once he is in his cot, I'm doing alot better than I expected was out of bed once the spinal block had worn off and am now walking around with not much pain, not been to sleep yet lol so now I'm going to try and get a few hours before I have to express some more milk, again thank you all for ur lovely kind thoughts I will keep u all up to date and not long now before u all get to meet ur little ones xx

I'm being reassessed a week on Monday, and I think it will be that week that they'll induce, but all will depend on blood results, growth and movement - eek!

Had my last antenatal class last night, quite sad about finishing them as it's been lovely to have somewhere each week to self indulge in baby talk. It's also been really nice to see that other people are as clueless as I am in all things baby. Big learning curve coming up I think!

So turned up yesterday to see new midwife to discover I went to the wrong place.....argh they didn't actaully tell me it wasn't there on Thursdays! Anyway drove around for 40 mins looking for the other clinic.... All went well and she seemed lovely next app in two weeks when I will be 37 weeks eeeeeeek !!!!! Where is the time going !? Xx

Glad you told the Feb lot Nat! Bet they are all scrambling to sort out their hospital bags and wash newborn clothes, lol. I think we got more of a fright when the first December mum had her baby than now that we have a January baby of our own!

I haven't done hardly anything either to be honest. I did get scared into thinking about everything that needs done when I heared that the first december baby was born though! My sister came over today and helped me move things around in our bedroom to fit another cot in. Are we the only ones crazy enough to have two LOs sleeping in our room?
