***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

27w I was estimated 2lb 9oz for this one
At 33w I was est 4lb 15oz with lily and she was 7lb 4oz at birth (39+3)

Each of mine I've been told 'oh my, you're going to have an at least 8lber!!' Mine have all been 7.6,7.5,7.4 teeny bubbas but long :)

Well we're all done at the fetal medicine unit. We've been discharged. Now just midwife appointments and one standard growth scan (everyone at my hospital gets this scan) at 38 weeks.

She is growing so well. Estimated weight today was 2lbs 12oz.. blimey.

Bowel is still showing as mildly bright but with her growth being ok and all the screening coming back normal they dont need to see us anymore

X

I'm so happy for you hun xxx so glad she is doing well xxx and wow on the weight :) xx

Hi ladies.
How lovely some of your 4D scan pictures are!
great news for you Nat.

I can finally say as of Saturday I'm in the 3rd trimester, yippee!
Chased up my midwife yesterday about sorting out my 34 week consultant appointment. Fingers crossed i will have a letter from the hospital soon! Can't wait to know when it'll be so i can count down the days till i get my csection date! :-)

Had a busy day today carving pumpkins ready for halloween tomorrow.

I've also been having hormonal emotional days since being pregnant. I've cried and felt very sorry for myself!
I'm also sick of my greasy spotty skin!! Both pregnancies have done this to me. I keep saying to my DH, sorry i look really ugly today lol!

Aww that's good nat, glad it's looking better and looking a fine size too :) xx

Fantastic news Nat, you must be so relieved!

I'm really starting to struggle with the tiredness again, afternoons at work are becoming really hard work! From next week I think I'll have to start popping home for a nap at lunchtime when I can. So glad I work close enough to be able to do this!

Ahhhh Nat that's lovely news :-) really glad everything's looking better :-))))

I haven't heard back from my Gtt so am now assuming I'm safe and don't have GD :-)

Was in agony at work with my SPD- I've told my manager who I sit next to but she really couldn't care less, so I phoned and got referred for group physio session next Tuesday- told my manager and I could see it in her face she only cared that I was going to be out of the office. Disgusting.

Oh well!!! Final preparations for moving underway :-) two nights left in this flat :-) x

Nat, that's great news! Really happy for you. 1 week till my growth scan and get to see wee one again. Can't wait!!

Ladies, how can I combat sciatica? Been having twinges on left side for a while but today was really bad. Couldn't bend to get things and had a busy day in maternity theatre at work. Very jealous of the ladies getting their babies and i'm still growing mine. Haha

So glad it went Carnat that must be a relief and I've never had a routine 38 week scan that's brilliant how reassuring they offer that at your hospital.

So I had my 28 week scan to check on increased amniotic fluid and baby's stomach. Looks like my poor baby boy might be facing more surgery on his oesophagus (in addition to the heart surgery as if that wasn't enough!) but I'm keeping positive! Well..I'm trying to! Carrying this extra fluid is really getting me down though I'm really breathless and just feel exhausted all the time!!

Hope you're all keeping well xx

Aw, Jan, so sorry to hear this, it's got to be hard to know that you and your LO will have to go through a tough time when he arrives. But something that pregnancy is teaching me is that we become stronger, and we are determined to make the best out of the tough situations that life throws at us.... Staying positive is the right thing to do! :hugs:

So sorry to hear that jan have they told you any causes??

Good to hear things are looking up nat :) lovely weight too!

Happy moving day for tomorrow Jolly, we're still 2 weeks away from the big day LOL

Your boss sounds awful, what a complete a-hole! Who wants to see a pregnant lady suffering?

Jan sweetie, sorry to hear that your little man may face more surgery than expected. I know it's so trite to say this but it's honestly going to be worse for you and Daddy, little man isn't going to feel anything or remember anything?

I also believe that knowledge is power, so knowing what treatment bub is going to face when he arrives is better than him being born and it being thrust upon you.

Keep yourself rested and healthy and have faith that the medical team who will be helping are specialists, who will help make your beautiful boy better.

X

Sorry to hear your news Jan. Like Nat said though, it's probably best to know all about it in advance so you can prepare yourselves for it than have it thrust on you suddenly after birth and it be a total shock. The excess fluid sounds pretty miserable too...as if pregnancy isn't uncomfortable enough at this stage as it is :/

Happy Halloween everyone. We live on an armed forces base so we will have tons of trick or treaters tonight. We've carved the pumpkin ready and bought all the sweets. Just need to decorate the front window later :)

Thanks Nat :-) we're so disorganised I just know the removal men are going to hate us!! Oh well, I've been tasked with being bossy tomorrow, which is what I do best :-)

Happy Halloween to you all too- here's munchkin number1 in all his Halloween glory :-)))

Yay officially tri 3 now!
Hope everyone had a spooky Halloween! X

Thanks Nat, I can honestly say it was the most stressful move ever. Me and hubby argued like never before, our wardrobe won't fit up the stairs and we can't work out the heating!!!!

But we're in, and Freddie's asleep (finally) and Tinkerbell is kicking away, plus we've just had our KFC so things can't be that bad- I have to admit I really wouldn't want to move any later than we have done- very tough with a bump :-/

God Jolly, moving is just a nightmare. Glad you are all in and hope you managed a decent nights sleep.

We had to get our sofa in via the balcony as it didn't fit, so we know it has to come out the same way , also we may have to move the 16th now as the person driving our van is working the day before [we are taking advantage of my BIL's - although one is in holiday so we're a man down already]

Also I have nowhere to put the cat? We need access to all rooms in new place and old place and everyone else nearby has cats of their own so I need to find somewhere to stick my poor little puss on moving day.

I am so over moving and I haven't packed a single thing!

Tomorrow is my first MW appointment in 13 weeks , I just know my BP will be high - it always is (white coat hypertension). I have been taking it myself a few times a day for the past week and it's been perfect but tomorrow it will shoot up. I am so weird !!!!

Look forward to the rest of the appointment though, even the bloods ha ha!

Then whooping cough jab on Friday.

Baby wriggling around like a maniac at the moment, bless her!

X
