So he had a baby night, admittedly I only had to go into him 3 times (11:45 and 2:45 and after leaving at 3 back in at 3:15) but the 3:15 visit he was all smiles and wanted to come out of his cot, I got him out, gave him a knock out feed (which didn't knock him out) and finally managed to leave him to his smiling away lol. So today I have been a bit of a zombie mom lol.
Hopin for a better night tonight with no monitors woo hoo :)

Well Jacob had his baby rice and bath then a feed and went to bed at the later time of 9pm (rather than 8) but was down and fast asleep by 9:15, he woke at 4, so I gave him a quick feed and he was fast asleep again by 4:15, then I went in to him this morning about 7:30 as I heard him stirring ready for the day. Hopefully I'll have my sleeping through baby back soon, just wish his cold would bugger off now bless him.

Aww sorry to hear he is poorly :(

Cleaver boy already eating purées.
Amelie Dosent even want to know about them lol. She turns her head away and not opening her mouth for the spoon.

I probably missed sth but does he need a rhythm Holter? Does he have heart problems? :(

Sorry you didn't get much sleep hun BUT Jacob didn't look too upset about having the monitor?

He is such a cutie, and such a good boy too (I can't imagine James ever sleeping through LOL!)

Aww bless you, he'll get there hunny, I've been really lucky, Jacob had slept through from 10 weeks, he slept 9 - 11 hours straight per night but between the mix of a cold, and changing his room I've upset his routine. He's woke every night :-(.

The monitor didn't bother him too much in the day when he was awake, but everytime he slept he moved and woke up immediately because of the wires pulling. /-( bless him.

Jacob is now 6minths old  where te hell has the time gone???

I know hun, James is 12 weeks on Wed's!

Any recent piccies of Jacob??

Are these scans still diagnostic or have you actually had a confirmed diagnosis?

It must be so worrying but I guess you have to be grateful that Jacob is actually being monitored and taken care of?

You are doing an amazing job, he looks like such a happy and contented little boy

Thanks sweetie, we have had no confirmation diagnostic yet, they are still very suspicious of hypertrophic cardiopathy (think that's how it's spelt) plus they'be seen a pinch in his aorta which luckily is getting wider as he develops, they'll be monitoring his heart well into his late teams though x x

I know the hospital visits must be a pain and Jacob will probably hate it all as he gets older BUT at least they are keeping an eye on him! That must be so reassuring.

This teething lark is not fun, yes ok Jacob slept through last night but when I went to change his bum this morning he had severe nappy rash (he never gets nappy rash) so plastered him in sudacrem and carried on with our day, by te second nappy the rash was actually bleeding (it's definitely to do with teething - something to do with the extra saliva they produce and swallow so there stomach then produces more acid to deal with it which comes out when they pee)
Poor little sausage, mommy really wishes she could take the pain away :-(

Well up at the crack of dawn (4:45) as daddy made a noise downstairs that woke Jacob (daddy is having early starts at the moment, and although he tries to be quiet, it still means so does Jacob and mummy) so I went in a Jacob was soaking wet with sweat, again I'm putting this down to teething, his bed was soaked he was soaked, this has set off his bad skin though (he went really dry skinned just over a week ago, the hv put him in doublebase gel for eczema (on his face it is very eczema like) so a bum change, loads of sudacrem, loads of doublebase cream, fresh clothes and a fresh sleeping bag later, he is now in my bed as his is too wet! - poor sausage.

Yay I'm a proud mommy today, Jacob rolled back to front today, yay well he's been able to get there before today but he moved his arm from under himself today so he didn't flip straight back over :) yay

Oh yay to a rolling baby LOL!!!

James doesn't seem in any hurry bless him, he likes to shimmy around though.

Happy Mother's Day for yesterday hun

Happy morhers say to you fir sunday too.

Argh, poor Jacob had sickness and diarrhoea this morning, dont know if it's teeth related or if its a bug or what it is (dr hoping it is a tummy bug that will pass quickly), I can honestly say I didn't think his belly could hold as much as what came out of him within 20minutes, poor little sausage. So bottle of water on the go and a very wary mommy for the day. Oh yeah, Jacob is normally not an "icky" baby, the most I've ever had before has been the size of a 50p coin. Today however. We could have filled a fruit bowl. He's not been sick since but he's slept all day and has a high temperature :-(

I hope Jacob is doing a bit better today hun?

I am dreading James' first illnesses  but I know it's all part and parcel of being a bubba.
