Hi again, have had bloods back and alls fine apart from they say that there's a marker or something on infection (?) so they're going to start me on antibiotics tonight. Also the bleeding has completely stopped (even no pink now on wiping for the first time). No pain since about 10am Wednesday (never even needed pain relief). They say that if I'm still in the same situation come Monday then they will discharge me.

We're obviously over the moon but I don't want to get my hopes up too high.

Hi Mrs V, even though I'm fully dilated my waters haven't broken. I have to be on bed rest so hopefully the sac membrane won't rupture (& go back into labour) I'm obviously very high risk for miscarriage. I assumed that the cervix could and would only dilate after the waters had broken. My oh was researching last night and women have gone more or less full term even after being fully dilated as early on as me. I've just got to be very very careful. I'm scared to sneeze lol. They won't stitch as its a risk they don't want to take as more often than not they could inadvertently nick the membrane while performing this procedure and I'd obviously definitely go into labour then.

Had more blood loss during the night. Didn't sleep too well. I'm going to try and stay in hospital for as long as they'll let me (or until the worst happened, though I'm obviously still praying that it won't).

Going to try and get some more sleep.

Oh my, i did wonder about the stitch, bet you are going out of your mind. One day at a time, every day is a bonus, you have a little fighter in there hun and you are both doing a great job in keeping things that way. I knowou have people on here you can talk to, just want to extend that really, feel free to message me if you just want a rant, virtual cry etc. Thinking of you both xx
