Hey hun, you've really been through the ringer haven't you. So sorry this happened to you, I've been through 2 mc now and they are absolutely heartbreaking.
Are they not going to scan you to double check everything? My second MC was natural, took me about a week to pass 2 fair sized clots, when I went for a scan after they told me the sac was still there but had collapsed and was measuring 2-4mm so they wouldn't do an op as this should pass naturally. incidentially when I passed the clots I only had mild cramps.
I hope you can start to get closure now, its a sad thing to go through and no one really understands unless they have experienced it themselves. Big hugs to you lovely and your little angel xx

Lovely Gail... So hope you're ok.. Are you still bleeding heavily? I really hope you've passed the worst, I do wish they would check though and not just leave you for 3 weeks. Your hcg levels should start to go down quite quickly so worth checking in a few days. Thinking of you lots x X X

Gail, are you OK? Hope they check you anyway to confirm everything is fine. x

Hi Becky and Charlotte
I'm not bleeding much now, so I think it's almost over, the nurse from EPU rang earlier and said they would be able to scan next week if I wanted, I'm supposed to be back at work but I will see if they will let me have time off for a scan, otherwise I could be scanned the week after ??
I just want to make sure it's gone :(

Hi Clover I would request that they scan you to confirm that everything has passed, 3 weeks is a long time to wait. Xx

Gail, oh sweetie at least you don't need to have an op. Scan will confirm its all clean and gone. So hope it's over soon and you can move on. x

I would test again in a few days, Clover with a first response. Three weeks seems too long :-)

Thinking of you xx I wouldn't test for at least a week, it'll still be quite positive in a few days and there's no benefit for you to see that xx my tests took 3 weeks to turn negative xx

Perhaps just wait, but have a scan in a week as that's conclusive. If your levels don't drop quickly you'll get anxious about it and you don't need that... Your work will defo let you have one if you explain why... They would be heartless not to... That will give you peace of mind. Massive hugs X X X

Seems like others may be right, although mine started to drop straight away, but I had been bleeding for weeks and weeks and weeks so could be different. Anyway, do what feels right for you I guess. Might make you feel worse if levels drop, might make you feel better. It helped me to test soon afterwards to begin to come to terms with my miscarriage and to feel in control of what was happening to my body, but, again, you do absolutely what you feel. My circumstances were quite different in that despite bleeding, I hadn't clicked that I was pregnant and only knew for a couple of days before I 'properly' lost my bean.
Still can't imagine how you must feel as I think I had it 'easy' in comparison.
Keep looking after yourself and let us know how you go. Xxx

I only passed the one big clot too when I MC. I bled off and on for a week. I was asked to bring what I had passed in, they checked it and confirmed it was my baby. I never did a hpt as I didn't want to see the negative but I did ovulate within two weeks so I knew my levels had dropped back.

Thinking of you Clover x

Thanks Lolie, I think I have passed my baby, the bleeding has almost stopped and my pregnancy symptoms have seemed to disappeared overnight, had no nausea or sore boobs today, thanks for sharing sweetie

Broody thanks hun, really appreciate your friendship :)

Siamesecatlady, thanks so much for your support lovely, I think I will test in a few days I would like to know my levels are going down, I actually did a Clearblue digi last week and it was 3+ so I may see what it shows on Tuesday, that's 5 days so it may show 2-3? or even 1-2 or Not Pegnant hopefully, I don't think I would like to see 2 pink lines :(

I think if I'm still getting a 3+ on Tuesday I'm going to ring and book a scan, I'm sure work will be fine about it, thanks hun sending massive hugs back at you :hugs:

I know my levels were quite high, and that's probably why they said 3 weeks, I wont get too stressed if its still positive in a few days, thankyou for your kindness and support :)

Aaww Hun. Rest in peace little one.

Sorry I've not been on much. I hope you're as okay as you can be in this situation xx
