Been in for my scan, it showed no growth and still measuring 5 weeks no hb no fetal pole
They have now officially confirmed 'failed pregnancy '
I knew the outcome but I still feel

I've cried again, I thought I was ok, but I'm not,
I have to decide now how to get rid of my baby do I have medical or surgical management?
My body doesn't want to miscarry naturally unfortunately. .but they said they could leave me another 3 weeks if that's what I wanted

Oh hun, I'm so very sorry that it's come to this.

I've not had a medical management so I can't comment on that I'm afraid. My surgical management was relatively pain free and my body returned to normal cycle very quickly afterwards. I didn't react well to the anaesthetic which was the worst bit physically for me.

I'm so sorry sweetheart, I really am.

Jacko I'm so sorry you've had to go through this too, it's horrible and emotionally draining, no matter how long it takes, it hurts, I've had a while to come to terms with my loss and today I felt sad but I knew it was over last week, you've lost your baby very suddenly and that is an awful thing to go through especially when you didn't expect it to happen

I think I'm going to try to opt for the Surgical management but the nurse did say that because the baby is only measuring small they prefer not to do it, and would try and pursuade me to have the Medical management
I know someone who had Medical management and was is absolute agony she hemorrhaged at home and was rushed into hospital she then had to have the Surgical procedure anyway as she had retained products , that puts me off
The nurse is speaking to the Dr and ringing me later

Yeah I was further on with my second loss.

Hopefully you'll be able to have the management you want.

You mentioned before about maybe getting a necklace to remember baby by. Did you decide on anything in the end? I got a ring with their birthstone in for each of mine.
