Thank you! Sounds like your scan went great, hopefully all 16 of those will be collected...if not more! How are you feeling? xx

Fingers crossed for a good number :) I'm not feeling too bad, afternoons I feel more bloated & I've had more aches but they feel more like as if af would b coming and as long as I keep up the water it's not too bad x

Good luck with the trigger tonight!!

Browneyed girl, how are you getting on?

I had the call from the embryologist - 12 of the 13 eggs have fertilised!! I'm provisionally booked in for Monday for a transfer but may get a call first thing to hold off till Wednesday if things are looking good. All I need now is symptoms of OHSS to go away or I'm not going to get the transfer. I currently look 7 months pregnant I'm so bloated....thankfully feeling ok apart from that xx

That's great news! Hope you get some good blastos and not OHSS. With 12 I reckon they will go to blasto stage so that you can choose the best ones. Are you transferring 1 or 2?

I'm hoping so - also if we go till Wednesday that gives time for my body to settle down a bit! They only do single embryo transfer up here so just the 1. It's strange to feel a bit in limbo now!

Hi hun, I'm currently 9dp2dt my OTD is Wednesday but I'll test Tuesday as I'm off work and will have the day to absorb whatever the result is. I want to know but I don't in case it's bad news, this 2ww is so hard mentally! I've also hurt my back somehow so have had no sleep for the last 2 nights, I'm coping ok at the moment but can imagine ill be a wreck if it's bad news and I'm sleep deprived as well. Keep reminding myself I'm still PUPO though! Thanks for asking x

That's fantastic news for you - 12 fertilised you must have a great chance of getting to blasto! What advice have they given you about trying to are off the OHSS, is it just drinking lots of water or is there anything else you can do? Fx it calms down for you xx

Thank you Hon

12! That's fantastic news so pleased for you and hopefully they will go great guns for a Wednesday transfer :)

Have the symptoms got any better since collection? Are you drinking lots of water ? It's so uncomfortable to do anything when u feel so bloated isn't it x

I have everything crossed for you!! What a shame you've hurt your back, I hope you manage to get some sleep.

I'm going to feel like a failure if we don't get a transfer this time, but at the same time I know it'll be for the right reasons. We'll have to wait 3 months so fingers crossed there'll some embryos to freeze! I don't think there's really anything I can do - if it's going to happen, it'll happen unfortunately xx

No, if anything the symptoms have got worse in terms of bloating, thankfully I'm not feeling unwell too! Yup, drinking plenty and have to keep an eye on how often I'm going to the toilet with all that water. It's not good if I'm not going or my urine gets dark xx

I unfortunately got ohss and they cancelled my embryo transfer 2 days after my egg collection. It's so unpleasant so I feel for you. Fingers crossed your bloating goes down. I was so happy when they cancelled mine as I felt that sick but once I felt better I was gutted I had to wait 3 months, felt like forever. Worked out for the best though as we got out BFP with that FET. Got everything crossed for you xxx

Thanks Charlie - did you feel unwell straight away? It's just the bloating that's bad at the moment and I'm really hoping it'll go down!! Did you have to go to hospital? Do you have any tips? xx

Was going to mention charlie as a success story following OHSS. Hopefully your cycle won't be cancelled but it's good to know it can all work out in the end. Fx for the next few days xx

How are you doing charlie? xxx

Great follicle/fertilisation numbers, ladies! Wishing you all the best :)

On the OHSS front, I developed "late onset" OHSS (due to the hCG in my system - so right after the trigger, and then when the embryo actually implanted) after embryo transfer and I had a week & half of literally the most constant painful experience of my life (*), I felt like all my insides were being crushed.

(*) including wisdom teeth being sawed out of my jaw which was over a day's agony!

That experience was extremely horrible so I hope you don't end up going through it xx

It started off as bloating with some discomfort, e.g. I had to roll my tights down to my hips at work, but then the bloating continued & I put on over 3kg (half a stone) in a few days, looked about 5 months pregnant, and could barely walk.

Oh my goodness tinsel, that sounds awful! I really hope I don't get to that stage. I felt a bit faint when I went for a shower but seem to be ok now. Its odd because I've not got any pain at around my ovaries, it seems to be further up where the bloating and uncomfortableness is xx

Good luck with trigger tonight Sarah. Its all happening now, it doesn't seem like long ago that you started stims, how many days were you stimming for?

eclairef, I really hope you don't get OHSS and you can go ahead with transfer. So you weren't put to sleep for the egg collection? I have been told someone needs to drive me home and stay with me for 24 hours afterwards so assumed I would be put under for it to be done? xx

Thanks honey, I think I've been stimming I think it will be 12 days ? Had 225 of menopur for 7 days then after the first scan last week reduced to 150 for the rest,

I got to take buserelin, menopour and the trigger tonight, did anyone else have to do the same ? X

Eclairef I really hope that they resolve for you and you get transfer x

Lisey I was told that I'm GA for collection, and also have to have someone with me and can't drive for 24 hours either x

Wow that sounds like a really rough time ! Do they give you meds for it to resolve or just let it sort itself out ? X

I'm sorry you've hurt your back hun :-(

It must b so hard the wait ! Are you on progesterone?
Can't believe only a few more days !! You had two transferred didn't you? X

Thanks Sarah, I have 12 days worth of stims, I am just hoping I don't need more as my gonal f alone is so expensive. I am sure I read that on the day of trigger I still take all my other stims, then nothing at all the next day, then collection. I do think mine is supposed to be done under GA too, I was hoping I hadn't made it up in my own head.

Browneyed girl, only just say your post in Sarahs reply. Sorry you hurt your back, hope it eases for you soon and that you get a good nights sleep tonight. Not long til testing, I have everything crossed for you xx
