It seems to be going ok so far, I'm bloated on and off its randomly been waking up first in the morning on the odd occasion I've felt bloated and only really today I've had aches but very similar if just a little stronger to "normal" ovulation if you know what I mean? X

On a side note I was having a chat with my friend who lives in Hong Kong and they have had two ivf and with second successful and a beautiful girl, they are about to have a FET and on the successful pregnancy and this one they are going for they had assisted hatching, has anyone heard of that? They take the outer layer way so its easier for the embryo to stick/implant? X

Ok thanks, I have visions of being in terrible pain. I have heard of the assisted hatching but didn't really know what it was. There seems to be so many techniques now xx

I know what you mean I've been slightly worried about pain and discomfort during the stimming process x

Scan went well today could see 10/11 good folicles that measuring around 11mm so nurse is happy and have scan again Wednesday and Friday x

Yes, it's like having lots of hurdles to jump isn't it! Sounds like you're on your way though. I'm not feeling too bad thanks - got sore boobs and a few little aches and pains starting. Desperately hoping it's an embryo (or 2!) getting comfy and not signs of af xx

Thanks girls hoping it all goes the right way next few days, they want me to reduce my menopor tomorrow from 225 to 150 so hoping that will still boost them without getting too big x

Ah Brown eyed I really hope it is them getting all snuggly

They are hoping for collection on Monday with, trigger Saturday eve she was happy with the scan so was going to go ahead & book my bed for Monday

I asked about rest & time off work as I've told work I won't be in next week I was worried if transfer was the later part having to go back on the Monday after as it's a double clinic I have to do and the nurse said the 48 hours after transfer are key for implantation so they should be the most rested x x

Wow, its all happening!! That's good to know about the 48 hours. I will be sure to take it especially easy on those days and maybe an extra one to be on the safe side xx

Do you know if the 48 hours assumes a day 5 transfer? I only ask as I had a day 2 transfer so I would have thought it needed at least another 3 days before being ready for implantation? Could be completely barking up the wrong tree though!

I had 2 follicles at 21mm and 4 between 18 and 20mm. My problem is that there was so many others sitting around the 14-16mm mark so I'll be triggering on Wednesday with egg recovery on Friday, in the hope that the smaller ones will catch up over the next couple of days. The nurse reckoned around 16-18 possible for recovery! No wonder I'm feeling weighed down! x

To be honest Hon I'm not sure, I would think the same as you, as isnt it 7 days 're implantation?

Its so odd as you talk and plan the process so much throughout but it's funny isn't it how once all the monitoring and scans start happening it all feels quite surreal! Xxx

Thank you I'm hoping tomorrows will continue to be nice and positive with progress I'm not feeling too bad, I can definitely feel something going on, it's odd like I'm aware of a sensation, not an ache as such but like a painless throb/pulse lol weird description I know, and I'm not as hungry today but other than that pretty ok so far thank goodness

Hi hun, I'm ok thanks - veering between feeling positive and then terrified at the moment! Still got sore boobs and quite a few stabby pains and aches, don't feel like I can trust my body though as the progesterone gives lots of symptoms. Looking forward to this bit being over.

Wow - 16-18 eggs is a fantastic number! It's exciting once you move to trigger, feels like it's really happening lol. xxx

Yes they expect implantation a day or 2 after a day 5 transfer so it would be longer for a day 2 transfer.

I felt very full too and had 19 eggs collected! They must take up a lot of room if you have that many follicles of that size, like a couple of bags of marbles!

So another good scan this morning, five 15mm on right and about the same on left, left side has 7 or 8 but a couple are a little smaller x
