*******February mummies 2015*******

Well blood pressure has been fine all the way through but may just ask while at hospital today for someone to check it to make sure. ... probably be the answer. I just keep checking my hands and feet to make sure they're not really swollen lol.

Wow congrats jazz!!! First Feb baby... how exciting :) xxxxx

Oh my gosh huge congratulations Jazz!! So all the discomfort you were in was leading somewhere!! Can't wait to find out her name and see a picture! Well done you xxx

Oh and bricey you can take one bottle out of the steriliser and quickly put the lid back on and the others are fine to use within 24 hours in the same way. Either that or sterilize then make the bottles up, depends on space I guess??

Thanks, I thought it a bit ott that taking a bottle out (10secs) woukd ruin the others. I suppose I coukd run it each time I take one out as its only a 5min cycle

Congrats Jazz!!
First feb baby out, glad shes doing well xx

Iv been up all night with a sore back and been throwing up.
Feet and fingers are swelled up, so off to the doctors shortly.
Hope everyone else is fine today xx

Wow congratulations Jazz!!! Such lovely news to wake up to. First feb baby :) hope you are both well xx

Congrats jazz how exciting!!!!!!!!!

Pip we went for the mam bottles, u don't need to buy the steriliser if you don't want too as they are go in the microwave to be sterilised!
The bottles are more expensive at about £14 ish for 3 but the reviews are brilliant as they are anti colic too!
Might be worth a research, I didn't wasn't a steriliser taking up space either!

X

Thanks ladies! Feel better now ive had a quick snooze! Haven't yet been able to hold her as she is on oxygen but she is so chubby looking and perfect :). Have a 3a tear so that's going to be fun! Will keep you posted on her but hoping to hold her later :). It's nearly there for us all now! She was so worth it ;)

Congratulations jazz ooooh so exciting now that one of us has popped the rest of us will follow :) xx

With the steriliser I take all the bottles out when it's finished and put them together then leave them on the side until I am rest to use them. I have the mam bottles too as you can microwave steralise them so that's handy for when out at friends or families houses but I got the microwave steriliser too so I can do loads all at once on one cycle xxx

Jazz, Congratulations!! What fantastic news. I hope you all are doing well :) Rest and recover! Look forward to reading your labour story.
(If you can get a lil tub or jug of warm water and poor it on your flu as you pee it'll help with the sting of the tear)

Bricey, Just like Blondy said. I used to do all the sterilising and boil a full kettle at the same time. Then make up the bottles with water all at once when they were done and they stayed sterile for the day.

Ive heard the TT perfect prep machine is great but it's an unecessary luxury if you can't afford it. When you get the hang of doing the bottles and quickly it's not a disaster if you don't have all these new baby gizmos :P

Ahhhhhhh our first feb baby!!!! How exciting!! congratulations to you & your family!

This is getting scary now we have our first arrival! Shizer!

Xx

I got the TT perfect prep for this baby.

I didn't have it with my first and got on absolutely fine (although I wasn't too uptight about making up bottles etx) so it's not essential.

But I'm hardly buying anything for this baby as we have it all and really wanted it, plus I got it in Black Friday so only paid £50, chuffed!! X

Congratulations Jazz!

I haven't been on for we while as not been well this weekend, dizzy and headaches. Went to drs yesterday for check up and baby hadn't been moving much so we went straight up the hospital and monitored for a while. Everything was fine, baby and my body playing tricks!

I just want him here now!

Am so sorry haven't updated you ladies but very quickly our little girl was born at 12.50 last night. Haven't settled on a name yet as she came out with the cord round her neck and is all squished but hopefully getting better! 7lb 2 and quite chubby looking!

Jazz what wonderful news! Congratulations and im glad everything is ok. Xx
