Morning ladies! Hope everyone is well and babies are still sat tight! Absolutely exhausted, had about 8 hours sleep since Friday, hoping to go home today to get some proper rest!

Congratulations pip! How many have we got now zoe? Been so busy and tired have probably missed loads. My little chunk is now 7lb 5!. Has anyone else torn in labour? Was wondering how their healing is going? Am so fed up of not being as mobile...

Hopefully the sweep will do something for you tomorrow Selina! Especially with all those other signs. Good luck It's my due date too but I can't have a sweep.

I'm finding it hard getting to sleep. Im awake til the early hours 3/4am and if hubby leaves me, could easily sleep in til noon. My body is exhausted by 8/9pm but my brain just can't rest.

I went out at 10:30 this morning shopping. Got home at half 4. Other than sitting in the car I spent hours on my feet walking around. I am bloody hoping that does something lol A sweep or induction isn't guna happen for me so need to get this baby out by any natural means!! xXx

My son and I both had Group B Strep infection last time which was treated with antibiotics. I have a higher chance of being infected again, especially if im currently carrying it, so having any kind of external bacteria being pushed up further towards the uterus could be serious for this baby and myself again.
It's just not worth the risk. GBS in newborns *can* be fatal

Oh god no it's not worth risking then.
I'm sure all will be ok this time as I was told that Strep B just comes and goes on a daily/weekly basis. I'm not sure if I have it or not as they don't test everyone as part of screening.
Let's keep fingers crossed for something happening soon for us due date ladies!!!!!! Xxxxxx

Yeah, I've not had a swab because of that. It could have shown negative one day and then be positive the next. That's just carrying it though. Im not sure when it actually becomes/became an infection? But because I'm more susceptible now I'm just avoiding intervention unless necessary. We nearly lost our son. Couldn't bear a repeat of last time

Happy thoughts though! It won't happen this time.

oh no that's horrible. Well positive thoughts for this time. Had a friend who had strep b first time but didn't 2nd and 3rd so try not to worry. X

Flick, defo bigger at 38w. Also looks like its dropped too.
And my SIL had GBS with her second and was incuded at 38 weeks exactly with her 3rd to help maintain it apparently. I dont really know much about it but even after being induced she went to 39+1 and spent all the time in the hospital.

Im feeling good yet nervous after my midwife appointment yesterday.
Because iv had 3 episodes of RFM im now going on delivery suite not the birth suite as im now classed as really low risk just low risk now. She also said she thinks the baby is in OP position due to the amount he sticks his bum out and over to 1 side, but my scan will comfirm it 2mz.
I told her about the back pain iv been getting that keeps coming in waves across the bottom of my back, which all ties in with baby in the OP position, so been told to monitor that and last night they where coning every 9/10 minutes for about 2 minutes, today there every 7/8 minutes for about 2 minutes. So im clock watching today whilst bouncing on my new ball lol!
And she also said if by some miracle iv not had him before my next appointment in 2 weeks ill be given a sweep at 40+3

Any sign of any more babies any time soon? xx

Flick your bump has dropped, not long now!!!!!!

I have my midwife appointment today - 38 + 3, i want to know if this baby is engaged!!!

I have still been having on and off period pain, and lots of pressure feelings outwards and downwards!!! But i know my luck i will still be sat here at 41 weeks plus!!!!!

Just had my mw appointment. Im 38+3 and baby hasn't moved any further down, still sitting at 4/5 engaged
She did however book me in for a sweep 2 weeks today - hoping I dont make it that far but its good to know its an option if needed.

Flick I think you look smaller because you've dropped quite a bit, hopefully won't be long for you now!

Everyone is convinced I'm going to go on Friday because Wales and England are playing rugby and that is a big thing for us welshies, hubby would hate it if I went when the game started!

Is anyone finding getting up in the mornings painful? Going from lying to sitting now feels as if I'm pulling every single muscle in my pelvis area, so painful. Yesterday I was frozen in pain for a little while, not as bad today but still painful.

Maternity leave is making me so lazy! I haven't long got up, I don't care though as my body clearly needs it and I won't be getting lie ins like this when baby arrives so should make the most of it!

Good luck February Mummies! I'm so thankful to have my April baby brewing but my thoughts are going out to my February Baby who wasn't meant to be.

Hey ladies!!

Due date today yep and had a sweep when midwife came at 11.30, she said my cervix was nice and thin and 1 and a bit cm dilated. I'm getting period cramps and Hubby is insisting we go for a walk at our local nature reserve. :/
My pelvis kills but I have agreed and hoping something happens so as im getting supper grumpy and impatient now!
Steph has got her labour thread on and is doing phenomenally well!

Good luck to ladies due this week, hoping for someone to have a Feb baby soon, it seems my little lad is happy where he is! X

We need to see lots of action in here now to keep morale high! I did another walk around Asda today (Mum's determined for my waters to break in there haha) And bump has dropped even more. Felt quite spritely this morning but now meh. I need a nap!
Baby_C, im the opposite! I find when I get up I can walk around and stuff quite easily. Its when gravity takes effect that I then start to struggle.

Tell ya what, my mood has become vile. I keep snapping at hubby and my son for no reason But instead of crying because of the guilt I just sit and sulk. Duno what's up with me!

Yup I'm snappy today...:snapped at my daughter...I never do that so feel really bad about it. Her wee face looked so sad.

Ready for baby to come now....my daughter was 10 days overdue surely this one won't be!!
