Annnnnnnd I'm on maternity leave now! Had such a lovely day, lovely lunch at burger and lobster with a cheeky glass of champers, and then all these amazing gifts and flowers. Got a snuza hero, clothes, books, blankets, shoes, mits, teddies and baby toiletries - baby Brice is so spoilt!

Hats off to you ladies still working or just going on maternity leave. I'm well impressed! Im still anaemic and have sexy swollen legs and ankles, im knackered all the time but now struggling to sleep at night! I could not still be working, so nice one!

Last midwife appointment tomorrow until due date. That's scary :/ Baby has been attacking my cervix quite abit this evening/morning and even made me gasp in shock whilst driving earlier. So could have had an accident God only knows what it's doing in there!?
Anyone suffering with the pointless hourly pee squirts? Baby headbutts or wriggles and I nearly wet myself, run (read: waddle) to the loo for the shortest more unsatisfying pss ever. Even worse at night!!!

I must have the most usless M/W ... ... went for my 36 week appointments , missed my 34 week one cause she was on annual leave !!! ... turns up on time. and shes running late as Normal, 45 mins .... didnt seem bothered about my concerns of how big baby feels.. i thought we were going to go through a birth plan, but she just flew through a list of things and that was it... Didnt even give me a Hospital bag list :/ ... although i am already packed and Ready to go lol.... Baby is 1/5 th engaged .... but the amount of pressure and fanny daggers ive been getting is crazy ... peeing omg, go pee get down stairs then need to go again .... finding it hard to walk with spd pain, and pressure down down below !!! .... God im not one that moans but, my god im Sooo Ready for this little man ...

But what keeps me going each day is Reading about all the January mums poping , wow soo many ,are going into labour / waters breaking theses last few days ... ... Us Next !!!

I got wait 4 more weeks at work till I get mine off but at least getting a whole month off so can't complain if baby comes at end of this month I only got two weeks to go till my month off but just got wait and see

Helen is weein for England and pressure in cervix is painful last night baby must stuck it's knee out so funny it kept playin with my hand and following it
Got our growth scan Monday gonna see if I can take a sneaky photo with my phone x

I was so spoilt and had a fab end of year appraisal on my last day too so really left on a high. The gifts included a snuza hero so I'm so pleased as last thing we needed

Flik - I get that, awful cervix blows, feels like he is going to pop my waters and my wees are so unsatisfactory

Sarah - my MW is like that every appontment, I'd never expect her to go through birth plan or bag lists. It's quick checks and off you go. Going to hound her today though as it's my last one before induction week

Zoe - all my growth scans I've been given a photo, pretty rubbish though as you can't see much at this stage esp with head down

I'm peeing hourly and they are pointless pees, it's so annoying as feel like I'm going to pee my pants and can hardly walk so race to the loo and it's drops!

I'm still working and it's killing me, have another two and a bit weeks until I finish. I can't wait.

I missed my midwife appointment this morning! Don't know what I was thinking, thought it was tomorrow. Bird brain.

I'm not peeing much...maybe just once a night but I'm in a absolute agony through the night with my hips. Not to bad at all during the day but at night it takes me ages to turn in bed and it's actually agony lol.

I'm keeping my husband up with the amount of noise I make.
I know there is nothing that can be done about it but I could potentially be another 5 weeks like this if I go overdue again which is a slightly depressing prospect lol.

Which way round does your midwife mean Sarah when she says 1/5th engaged? Does she mean 1/5th in the pelvis, 4/5ths free?
I'm 4/5ths today (was 3/5ths - the lil bugger has almost wriggled free) but my midwife refers to it as in 4/5th are yet to become engaged.

Ive been reading the Jan thread too Omg it's getting scary real especially as quite a few of you have been given January induction dates!!! Ahhh! Im so not ready for number 2 yet lol xXx
