*******February mummies 2015*******

Good luck Rachel! Sorry to hear yours have slowed down Mrs J, that must be annoying!

Aww Toni! I know it's frustrating, but baby will come when they're ready.
My first LO was 12 days late, and I went into labour on my own the morning I was meant to be induced. I love that he chose his own birthday, instead of being evicted xx

Morning ladies,

Just thought I'd show you all a pic of my son, Rayyan :)

Nights are very tough with this little guy!!

Well I did end up going in to get checked. They monitored me for a bit then I headed off baby all ok. Started getting tightenings which seemed to be coming every 8-10 mins sometimes more but nothing regular. They completely eased by midnight after starting about 7.30 pm. So frustrating. I thought it was the start of something. Booked in for induction on the 19th as they have my due date as the 9th so at least this time next week I'll be holding baby.
Congrats to the new mums and bubs x

Oh my gosh he is a beaut!! So so cute.. congrats again!

How was your heartburn as his hair is lovely!!! I've had no heartburn so am convinced he's going to have zero hair ... not that it matters I'm just curious if the tales are true.

X

Oh Sarah, hopefully baby will make an appearance before then!

I have a stretch and sweep tomorrow and we will be talking about an induction early next week :(

Hi ladies, hope you are all well. I'm exhausted, feel like I'm wading through sand today. I'm booked in for a sweep next week !!! Does it hurt and how long does it last?

Well after all the excitement last night looks like it was a non starter for me. Still getting pains but they are totally random now (still quite painful though!). The main thing now is im just feeling terrible - nausea has hit with a vengeance. Came to bed as ive only had 2.5 hours sleep and snoozed for an hour but thats it. Sorry for the moan but im just feeling miserable :(

Hope your ok rachel! Any updates?

Toni, I feel for you :( Baby arrived 9 days over, I know it's so hard to just keep going. Feels like it's never going to happen. Everyday is a day closer though, remember that!

Rachel, hope things are progressing well for you :) The time scale looks promising so fingers crossed 'this is it'!!

MrsJohnson, I had BH for 3 days on/off slowly leading up to the real deal. I know it's disheartening when they stop, I felt incredibly frustrated! But hang on in there :)

MrsT, Babes has a thick head of hair and I had no heartburn whatsoever! :D

I definitely recommend walking around ladies waiting imminently for labour!!!
I spent several hours on my feet with continuing BH the day labour started. By the end of the day I could hardly walk and I could have cried but it definitely helped! Good luck to those so so close xXx

Hey ladies!
Baby maisie Liberty was born 13 feb at 10.12pm and 7lb 4oz!

Wasn't the most simple of births, was examined when got to hospital at 10am, was 3cm and got a tough sweep!.contractions slowed down so had to be induced! Toook an epidural as was so tired!
So induction started and then about an hour in babies heart beat kept dropping!
So I then had a heart beat monitor attached to babies head. -.It. still kept dropping after numerous times of me moving and endless people coming in it was decided to go an blood test from babies head! Can't say this.was comfortable!

Then I started to feel things and it was noticed my epidural wire was unattached
Then it was talk of c section but they wanted to get the blood test results!!!
Heart beat at this point still keeps dropping every time.i have a contraction!!!
So the induction is turned off

Then decided a c section is to take place!
Which I didn't like to be honest half way through I started to get pains! So had diamorphine which I had said no too! It sent be bizarre ladies avoid this if u have natural birth!!!
Then she was born! !!!!!!

Sorry I have that many wires I keep pressing wrong keys hahahahha
Anyway she was here but I couldn't focus on her due to the c section, the pains then my uterus was not contracting!
But all was well, I have a high temperature which I will have a drip for! Still got catheter in - what's it feel like when this comes out ladies dreading it!!!
Craig has just left us on our own so.i pooing myself lol!!!
And that's it
Least she is here safe and sound!!

Pic to follow on Facebook!

Flick congratulations if I have not.said already

Has anyone else.had their babies? How u getting on Zoe? And Mrs Johnson? ?

Xxx

Congrats Rach! Saw on FB, gorgeous! Your labour went the same as mine, failed induction, monitor on babies head, dipping HB, csection. I'm sure the induction causes trauma for baby. When I was in delivery suite 4 inductions ended up in csection in just one night

Anyway she is safe and sound now
