February 2018 Mummies - the final hurdle

Funny you should mention the clear out Wednesday as it has crossed my mind (had two 'episodes' of a bad tummy earlier but nowt else touch wood)

Have been feeling crampy ever since though, enough so to wash my hair and pack my hospital bag (and put the mattress protector on)

Alas main side effects of the medication I am on are: diarreah, cramps, vomitting and nausea. So I'm thinking it's just the medication??? Although side effects are common to begin with, not when you have been on the medication for a while???

Who knows. I am feeling a bit freaked out and have asked OH to be on alert. Just in case.

Are you having pains carnat? Can you remember how it starts off from last time? Does it feel similar?

I’m still having loads of tightenings, though I know it doesn’t mean anything!

Ooh yes carnat.. how was your night??

I’ve been up since 5am ☹️

Cramps stopped.

I must admit I did kind of think it was the start? Felt very 'period like'.

Bump just feels so heavy today? Not sure what's going on.

Got food shopping coming soon and and we'll just have a quiet day today.

X

Tor Im with you on the early start.... 4.45am today, just lying there awake...

Carnat have you had anything today

Nowt today. So complete false alarm.

Thankfully. 36w is just a wee bit too early (not to mention the fact I'm still at work until 11th lol)

Wasn't up until after 8am today. Other than my usual 5 night wakenings of course

5 night wakenings?? Yikes.. I don’t know how you do it carnat!!

I really really need my sleep.. I’m really grumpy if I haven’t had enough sleep. I’m dreading the newborn phase!!

I do go to bed at like 9pm (am in bed now) but I'm probably up twice for a wee before I nod off.

I can't seem to go longer than 3 hours overnight without needing a wee. There are 20 stairs between my bedroom and the loo

I am going for a scan today...

I decided I didnt want all my eggs in one basket and rely on the same lady at the hospital doing both growth scans that all decisions are being made on.

Im confident that theyre correct and this baby is massive, but it will be nice to see baby again this morning and get a second opinion on size and fluid levels. And a 4d glimpse should be nice! Im too far along for a 4d scan in itself, but theyll show me what they can.

Im actually pretty excited!

Happy scan day Wednesday! Will you post a picture for us? How exciting!

Have a lovely scan Wednesday.
Iv woke up this morning with bad pain all across the bottom of my back and top of my bum, can hardly walk! x

Hope scan goes well Wednesday!! Enjoy :-)

Beau do you think this could be the start of labour?!! Xxx

Aww have a lovely scan!

Beau keep us updated on how the pain progresses hope you're ok xx

Thanks, I have no idea if it's a start of things, had some pains and tightenings yesterday but they stopped after I had a bath. It's just the back pain today so we shall see! Currently laid on the sofa with a hot water bottle x

Im back from scan... and Im feeling a bit more positive!

So here are the measurements and relevant centiles

36+1
Head circumference - 340mm (84th centile)
Abdominal circumference - 330mm (86th centile)
Femur length - 68mm (50th centile)
Weight - 6lb 9oz

So baby has dropped down the centiles by this... at 33+3, head was on 97th and abdomen was off the chart...

I feel a bit excited! Maybe I wont be booking a c section on Tuesday after all!
