Thanks everyone! I'm still absolutely gobsmacked.
I've got a few scan printouts which I may post later once I take a pic of them. I'll be going for another scan in 2 weeks time though, so may get a better pic then.
It is very daunting but I'm excited This is definitely a COGOF deal haha!

Hi ladies, I had my dating scan yesterday.
Was pretty shocked to learn that I am actually only 7 weeks! I had estimated 10/11 weeks (last period was 24th April with a cycle of 37 days!)! Seems my cycle really was way out of whack! However it sort of makes sense as I was getting a fair few bfns for a week or two and I remember having ewcm at a completely different stage when I was not expecting it, so I may have either ovulated much later or skipped a period entirely around the time my Mum passed away. Also my nausea only really kicked in these past 2 weeks. However my waist has expanded so much already! Just wasn't really expecting it as my midwife told me she reckoned I was 12 weeks by examining my tummy, although she did say she can't be sure.
Either way we caught the egg and feel completely blessed. We were a little disappointed as were gearing ourselves up for being able to tell people, however as I have to go back in another 4 weeks, we are still not past the safety stage and I feel like I have 4 long weeks of worry ahead! And wearing leggings and baggy tops.
All we got to see was a peanut shape and the egg sac BUT we did see and hear a heartbeat which was massively reassuring!
Got an estimated due date of 28th February.xxx

Wouldn't be at all surprised if you missed a period with the passing of your mum.

I'm so glad you got to see a heartbeat and the next 4 weeks will fly by.

Thanks Mrs Law. No it was just a regular ultrasound and it didnt take her long to find the heartbeat,she found it on my lower left side! Just praying now for the next 3 weeks and 5 days until the next scan!x

Just got booking bloods back and all normal so that's something off the list so to speak.

Feeling really tired and nauseous again the past few days (it had eased a bit). Feel like I've literally had to drag myself through tri 1. And still 2 weeks to go!!!

CarNat22 I'm with you on the having to drag myself through tri1 I suffer with hemeplegic migraines (migraines that are accompanied by stroke symptoms) I have a horrid pressure in my head on most days and unfortunately I've had an episode where my right side went completely dead and this lasted three days. My speech was effected too. This with sickness has made this tri1 the worst out of all my little ones. Thoroughly looking forward to tri2 hoping some of this eases off.

On the plus side I've been able to eat a full meal the last few days! And il be having a little play with the Doppler later!

Not long left til tri2 guys!!! X

Has anyone bought anything yet?

What would you do... I'm 10 weeks 5 days today. The pram I have been eyeing up for the last 6 weeks has gone on offer and £165 less than usual.... would you buy it? I can store it at my parents and the shop would hold it until September before shipping...

Personally I won't be buying anything until after anomaly scan but we don't need anything big?

I suppose if it's a great deal then you may as well. Absolute worst case scenario you could get a refund and the shop won't send it?

Sorry you are suffering Crinkles, I sometimes get ocular migraines and they are bad enough.
