He diarrhoea is fine in day but awful every evening/night

Managed to go out for few hrs yesterday as my best friend came down to visit from Bristol xx Sent was a lovely day as my village had its annual festival and there was a food festival to coincide so the castle was open free of charge xx

My diet starts tomorrow back on slimming world xx
going to St Ives for whitsen for a week its an annual holiday big family affair on hubbys side xx Total of 18 ppl go x
2 of the ladies are size 8-10 and I usually feel fat next to them as it is so im determined to lose at least half stone by time we go so I can at least say I've lost the weight gained in pregnancy and then continue xx

I am 15 stone 8 and am aiming for 13 stone! My goal is to lose 2.5stone - id lost 2 stone pre pregnancy and found it quite easy with swimming 3 times a wk etc and SW diet x ill be out walking everyday now unless torrential rain x
Ill be using slimming world and my fitness pal xx
Gona need all your encouragement along the way

Hv jus been she's made a Drs appointment for us at 5.30 cos I mentioned I think the hernia is bigger and he's clingy and feeding lots xx
He's 7lbs 13!! Lil chunk thats another 8oz this week

Quinn screamed the drs down
Lots more bowel in hernia and painful x thats why he's been unsettled
Almost got sent to hospital again but once she'd pushed it all in he settled a lil x
She is sending a letter to chase up referal to Cardiff x
Wants us to go back in morning if still unsettled and then go to the hospital so well see x
He jus settled enough for me to have tea but then cried place down as soon as hubby left the house im sure hubby thinks im lying cos he's settled when he's here and is crying when hes not

Well Quinn was unsettled again into bed with me at 4am and slept for 3hrs x
His hernia is definitely bothering him so made another appointment at gp so they'll send us to hospital todau and hopefully they can chase up Cardiff xx

Jus been to drs and they don't want to send us to Carmarthen hospital x jus wait til referral from Cardiff
Gutted cos he's jus gona be unsettled an in pain until they sort it xx

Hi sunny x
Well yesterday was worse day - got readmitted to local hospital then "emergency to Cardiff" however a 999 ambulance toke 4.5-5hrs to arrive whilst he was kept nbm in prep for surgery
Therefore he screamed and screamed cos he was hungry x he had a cannula put in back of his hand started on a drip an was allowed sucrose drops x
finally got ambulance 7.45 when waiting since 2-3!!
Then to be assessed not for surgery tonight as able to manipulate hernia back in here x may need to stay in until Thursday as they wait 48hrs for it to settle before operating x
Then his hb is low so may need blood transfusion pre theatre
We're ok jus in limbo until see consultant in morning xx they may send us home on iron an operate in few wks but im not gona take that option lightly as we'll be back in few days when hes painful an unable to manipulate it again

So he fed an went straight to sleep x x
im ok exhausted to say the least but person next to us has bright light on until 1am an child opposite has a resperator so it beeps with every breath (like a breath counter) xx cue barely any sleep for me x

Jus done 2nd feed x massive poo explosion and a change of clothes due to projectile vomit x oh the joys xx

Managed a bit of sleep but quite difficult in ward environment x obviously babies feed at different times, and nurse comes to do Quinn obs regular x omg the bp cuff is tiny and they do it on his lil leg x

I can't believe I'm the only bf mother out of the 4 babies here x I know ff & bf is personal choice but I've had "weird" looks from the other mothers cos im bf like the odd 1 out!!

Surgery on fri and repeat blood jus done to retest hb to see if he needs transfusion due to his anaemia xx

Quinn needs 3 units of blood his HB has dropped from 8.8 to 8.6 xx
He has "weird" antibodies so ive had blood taken to try get a better match x I dont know what this means and drs don't seem to give me a clear answer either x

Im up feeding Quinn xx he's on his 2nd unit of blood and is a trooper xx soooo proud of him xx

He had his 3units of blood - was bit unsettled after so had paracetamol and settled better xx

Quinn jus had bath and bf & now asleep on my chest x tried to put him on cot nope so back fast asleep on my chest xx
Not allowed to bath him for 5 days post op x only top an tail x

Aiming for surgery tomorrow morning

2nd on list NBM from 5.30am op about 9-9.30 x I feel physically sick, dicky stomach and banging headache xx my poor lil man

OMG a ear piecing alarm like a fire alarm is going off and the nurses are in panic mode as a) they don't know what set it off and b) dont know how to stop it!!

Well he's had his last feed @ 5.15 x
Managed to get him off to sleep so fx he doesn't wake hungry too soon

Hope all goes well with little Quinn today and he is soon pain free and settling back in at home with his mummy!
I felt like that when i breast fed lacie, I had just had her and was on a pre natal hospital ward! x
