I'm on the second day of my period now and my temperature hasn't even gone down to my coverline on last month's chart yet. Why is that? It has usually dropped below the coverline by now.

Jo, enjoy your month off temping. I know how you feel, it does make it all stressfull.

Sorry to be so specific, but if you're charting orally at the moment, you might want to try charting vaginally instead. Also, if you're using a digital thermometer, make sure the battery is as close to new as possible or it can start giving false temps.

Didn't know about the battery though, mines over a year old and digital. Think I'd best get it changed, thanks hun

Well no AF as of yet, but my temp dropped below coverline this morning Think it's fair to say thats that then. Now I just want the old cow to hurry up so I can get it on for December

Grrr....my temp is even lower than yesterday's which was ALREADY below the coverline...and yet still no sign of af...what the blazes is going on??

I guess I continue our little waiting game...

Mine usually drops under coverline just before AF arrives. Went low yesterday and under today. Dont worry if yours hasn't, not everyones does, just means you have more progesterone or something like that that keeps your temp slightly higher. (know ive read it somewhere ) but thats a good thing anyway! (or I could be talking rubbish, where did I read it )

Thanks Donna, lol. It dropped below the coverline this morning. Apparently it can stay above for 2 days after your period. It would be alot simpler if mine did the same every month!

Me too Melissa, Witch just got me. Not gonna take it as day 1 till the morning tho. So I guess were be testing together. Mine are usually around 32 days and just looked at your charts and seen your roughly the same. Boxing day testing it is then! Good luck ladies xxxxx

thanks melissa5317 for ur comments. my temps are so erratic but think the god damn pill is still playing havoc with me!! i think i'm temping correctly so i guess its just that interfering! didn't ovulate till day 28 last month (which was my first o since coming off dianette in june) so hoping it will come soon. oh to be 'normal!!'
think i'll prob pass on the vaginal temping until i get a little more desperate- can u imagine waking up at 5am and forgetting u'd started temping vaginally say no more!!!
also i think my dh may just disown me- or get me sectioned!! the joys of ttc!

How's everyone else doing??
Just checked all charts and apart from Becs, no one is near testing, but think Becs isnt trying this month. (am I right hun?)

I've just noticed that only 2 of my temps on this month's chart are below my coverline on last month's chart and only just below it. On my last chart, almost all the temps were below the coverline on the chart before that. Does that mean anything?
