My OH has had his paternity signed off from friday aswell...which is only 3 days!! but then his taking 2 weeks holiday so don't want to leave it too long as want as much time as possible together Moving house on the 2nd september aswell so the sooner little mr arrives the better so got a chance to get use to motherhood without the added stress xxx

you can opt for daily monitoring instead of an induction after 40+14 if you want, if the placenta is functioning well and baby is having good movements, nothing to suggest you can't go into labour naturally.
depends how uncomfortable you feel too hun x

yeh...im thinking of doing this but then if anything did happen i dont think i could live with myself! I feel absolutely fine! I feel less pregnant than I have for the last 2 months! Don't understand how think his too happy in there! The mw said he wont be more than 7 1/2 lbs either she originally said 6 1/2 -7 so his not running out of room just yet... urghh silly boy please come out!! xxx

yeah, i know where you're coming from, i'm worried too about leaving it too long.... but all the intervention seems so unnatural to me.
baby SHOULD come when he's ready, whether thats due date or 42 weeks, because ovulation could be a bit off, and different women have different gestational periods.
guess i am going to go with the flow, and see how all is performing, and take advice from medical team before deciding.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to ask lots of questions before they do anything...might even try and get a scan to see if his ok in there I'm slightly worried tho as my original edd was 1st August which was changed to the 8th with my last scan...im sure ure LO will turn up soon...i read that for first time mums the average date is 41+1..if its your first you still got a while till your average tomorrow i will be 41+3 so not that far off...maybe his last chance for a natural appearance tho. I was actually really looking forward to the labour and was planning on just gas and air as I have a slight phobia of medicine..Wont even take paracetamol!! xxx

My DD has gone to her daddy for 2 weeks im dissapointed baby didnt arrive before she left now she wont see him till sept 4th (if hes arrived by then)

I still dont have a name for baby yet

Hi ladies, well I'm back from my hospital appt. I had a successful sweep, she was able to get a fingertip in and feel through. My cervix is soft and to the front now, so fingers crossed the sweep does something. Baby was fantastic on the scan and monitoring, was a very wriggly one, although it is back to back at the minute, so I'll have to get on all 4's to encourage baby back round. If I don't go before then I am being induced on Sunday at 2pn - eek sooo close now! I'll keep you all posted.

I've no names either and its double hard for me cos team yellow!! Jacki - you really want to turn baby around if you can I had back to back with Josh and its sooooo not funny. From now on, stay off the sofa cos slouching is the worst thing - keep going on all fours and bounce on a ball if you have one. Its gonna be soon woo hoo

Yep Tracey,thank you I've been on my ball and on all 4's to encourage the little one back round. Was fine at my MW appt last week so think baby is just being mischevious now lol. XX

Thats such good news for you! She STILL couldn't do mine and my cervix is still closed and long....so i would be waiting possibly days for anything to happen!! So guess im going to go for the induction tomorrow morning..absolutely bricking it now!! Have 3 big bags packed tho gonna think im moving in xxxxx

baby just did a big stretch and now my bump is all stuck out on the right side really far, i am all lopsided!
he won't move back now and i am quite uncomfortable.....

I cant seem to get to sleep tonight my back is hurting which isnt helping.

One day till im due and baby is showing no sign of wanting to come out. I was never going to be lucky enough to have a third due date baby.
