Anna, I agree. And I did come to terms with being overdue, but its very difficult too. And im not even due to 10 days. I never thought id feel like this and I imagine it getting worse!

Your week sure sounds better than mine. OH has to go to work for two days tomoro n weds. and I have no plans until sunday

Oh goodness giz! Sorry about your car! It seems your having no luck. I remember Lydia have no car luck at one point. Cars can be a nightmare for sure.

I agree with that. Id like to have met my hv before the baby arrives. Atleast that way, I'd have somebody ive met before around my baby..
I could book myself in for something actually. As my birthday treat for the weekend. Im not sure what. Ive never had a massage before. Im getting my hair done in a few weeks and I don't want my nails done as I know they will be ruined when baby comes along.

Any other ideas? I dont have the skin for a facial atm either. Anyone elses skin glt worse? Recently, my chin seems to be quite greasy and spotty and even my head. Xx

Ive always got a sore back so have had a couple of massages during pregnancy, was lovely! Id recommend getting that, help with any aches u have. Just make they know ur preggers, some places do mum to be treatments & packages.

Ive been more emotional recently, feel overwhelmed at times. Its prob just cos we know the end is nigh xx

I need to get my hair done and have pedicure before baby comes. Get some shellacs done, they last for longer. Was thinking about getting massage, special pregnancy one. Apparently they have special pillows where it is made possible to lie on your stomach. Now I would pay money just to do that!!

I hate cars, they are so expensive when something goes wrong. But needs must!

Yep i'm defo restless at mo. Can't relax very well, stuff on mind that needs doing, mind on the go all the time. I just keep busy so I try not have time to ponder. By the time the evening comes I'm ready to chill.

Have been emotional but that seems to have past for the time being! I'm sure it will come back. Bloody hormones!

I get this most nights. Hate it. Get funny legs. Baby gets restless too I think. He/she moves the most around now. Really hurts sometimes!

Um, I'm a bit confused as to why you're upset your oh has to work tomorrow? Did I miss something? Does he work insane hours?

I wish I was still at work. I'm lonely. And it was more rest at work believe it or not.

I have no idea why. For some reason I just really wish he wasnt going to leave me on my own. I think im feeling a little sorry for myself I dont usually mind him going to work. He has just had 4 days off and I think I really enjoyed the company x

Last time mine had nearly 5 weeks!! It was too long for me! I've persuaded him this time to have the two weeks paternity, then he's got two weeks holiday booked for middle of September. But if baby is late late then it might end up being 4 straight weeks!!

Last time mine had nearly 5 weeks!! It was too long for me! I've persuaded him this time to have the two weeks paternity, then he's got two weeks holiday booked for middle of September. But if baby is late late then it might end up being 4 straight weeks!!

1 day wouldnt be enough for me. But I guess its something id get used to. OH has 2 weeks paternity. Its worked out well because he has a new job starting september 1st. So he gets 5 days off this weekend, two weeks paternity, then 2 days september 13 and 14 for wedding. But if he was staying at this job, he would be off from last Thursday, through till august 6th and then two weeks paternity and then a whole week in september. I do think 5 weeks would be too much, so two and half in a month is better lol x

hi ladies, just thought id let you know im going to be a july mummy ! kelly already knows but had a mare of a day today, went up the hospital for a routine scan today because id been up the MAU with reduced movement twice and they told me in the scan baby is breech!! me and OH were totally shocked by this cuz we have been told for weeks by midwifes that baby is head down. apparently this is quite common and most women go into labour with breech babys because the head is easily mistaken for a bum. so to cut a long story short im having my baby wednesday! they told me his bum is already too engaged and with me bein 39 +1 im too far gone for them to try and turn him so its a c-section on wednesday mornin ! im gutted as i cant have a natural birth experience but lookin at the positives, this would of happened anyway cuz baby would not of turned by the time i went into labour so it would of had to be an emergency c-section! this way its nice and planed anyone else had any sudden news?? i still havnt fully got over whats goin to happen lol im very excited and nervous xx

Commented on ur other thread, so exciting to know one of us will have our baby v soon. U prob have some already but get high waist big knickers so wont rub scar & also if ur taking pjs, make sure the waist band is high for same reason. thats what i was recommended any way, plus pjs hide the glamorous stockings they give u lol. Have u & hubby made any nice plans for tomorrow? xx

iv just commented back, already know about the sexual stockings and yes got me knickers/shorts and high waisted pjs at the ready! lol OH is at work but im gonna get stuff ready in the house tomoz with me mum and me and OH will have a nice chill out at night ready for the day ahead xx

Good luck for your c section. Was nearly in your position last week. They thought baby was breeched and would need c section but scan confirmed otherwise.
