Morning ladies. Not been on here yet. Due August 12th. Got 17 month little girl already.
First day of being fed up today. Need to entertain my little girl too but summer holidays and weather not making it very appealing.

Hi! Hope you all had a nice weekend!
Sorry to hear you're nearly all having so much trouble sleeping! I wake up about 10x at night but only once to use the toilet and the other times to change sides as my hips hurt after sleeping on one side for too long. Happily I always fall asleep immediately after again.
Hope you'll all have some good nights sleep before baby comes!

Still sat around waiting! Been very un-hungry lately, which is not like me at all, I'm always hungry but I could quite happily not eat all day!

Hi paddles, you have the same due date as me

I'm tired, didn't sleep great. Annoyed with hubby cos he let our daughter come in bed at 1am. There is not enough room for her! I need my space to roll over and move and don't like being crowded at the moment.

I've written a huge list of stuff to be done. Wish I had the energy to get on with it. But think I will aim to cross one thing off a day.

I've got to wait in today for a part for my car. It's been in the garage since last Monday I'd hoped it would have arrived by now so I could go out with mum, but no. Now it's at the point where if it arrives the garage won't be able to fit it today, so another day gone. I'd just like something to go my way for once.

I'm bored of being stuck at home.

38 weeks today, less than a month at most to go

Wanted to ask you all, when are you getting your nursing bras? I'm thinking of going this weekend (will be 39 weeks) just thinking of getting one or two at most!

I got some about 37 weeks, I don't think my boobs have changed yet. I know they will get bigger 3 or 4 days after you give birth but they will advise you on a size to allow for that. I just got 2 so if they are too small later on it isn't the end of the world

Hello all! I was curious about nursing bras too, hear conflicting things such as leaving it to after you have baby when ur milk comes in, but that seems alot of hassle when ur settling in with a new born. What are the rest of yous doing? I might wait until next week & get a couple & hope for best. Like u buggy i dont think the size of my boobs have changed much recently :/

Im fully cooked today, wooo hoooo!!! Cant believe im here, it always seemed such a far away milestone. Even more scarey two weeks today il be getting my c sec & baby!!!!! xx

Spinsugar you sure were up early. Hopefully your rain cools your flat soon. Our house is just now. But we do have some blue skies unfortunately. Very windy today though.
To be honest, i have not at all thought about nursing bra's. Like, at all! Should i be getting some!? lol

Mummy2b19, tell me about the cost of things. This month has cost me and my OH a bomb! We brought a new suit for a wedding in September. As well a few other items for the wedding and for the baby. Now we are long awaiting payday on friday so that we go and do something nice. Just can not afford it this week!

Hello Paddles, nice to see you here I always find the school holidays a less appealing time to go out. I'm sure i will change my mind once my LO is at school x

Hey Lydia, im glad you sleep sounds pretty sound. I wake up once a night for a wee too and also wake to turn over much more because of the pressure on my hips! It sure aint nice! But, its been okay really and i am really enjoying the duvet! xx

Hey giz, An extra body in the bed at 1am is far from ideal now! I would be peed off for sure. I take up enough room as it is, that i have to basically hang over the edge!

This morning, i didn't wake until 9.20am! I stayed in bed with OH for half hour ish. Then dad phoned and came over with my birthday presents. He left about half hour ago, so i just had my breakfast and now OH mum is coming over soon. So i best go squeeze my shower in as i haven't had a chance yet. Then once she's been, i need to do a grocery order as we are almost completely out of food now. Have a good day ladies x

Just had a few pains and cramps but had those on and off for over a week so I don't think it is anything to go by.

I really hope I don't go over as I want to spend as much of my maternity leave with my baby as possible. I've tried all the tricks though so I'll just have to wait!

Hi ladies. I've been really struggling to sleep for weeks now although I'm now on maternity leave so can sleep during when the day if I need to

Giz - I've also written up a massive to-do list. I think some of it is a bit ambitious (painting and gardening for example!) but it'll be nice to start ticking things off and anything I can't do will become DH's to do list

I had my 36 week midwife appointment this morning. Bump is measuring 34cm. I had a scan last Friday as baby had had a really quiet day on Thursday and they did say then that baby is measuring a bit smaller than they would expect so I've got another scan booked for a week on Friday which is a bit worrying. On the plus side though baby's head is now 1/5 engaged

I was having a check up the other day and the mw reckoned my baby is about 8lbs 6oz now

Dreading to think the size of here by the time she decides to come out!

Sleeping is a nightmare for me too. Just put DD down for a nap so gonna have a kip too.
38 weeks today too and will probably go over like I did the first time. I tried all the tricks nothing worked!! Anyways we will see.

Nomad, yeah mine has gardening and fence painting :-S I trimmed a hedge yesterday (it's only small) but had to get hubby to tidy up as I'm struggling with crouching down/being on my knees.

So weeding is out and its the one job my hubby refuses to do.

Paddles, that is spooky. Will be funny if we have number two the same day.

Oh and with regards to nursing bras, last time I got measured at about 38 weeks, the bras fit for a few weeks after my milk came in, but then got tight, so I ended up having to buy more which was annoying (and expensive). Given how much washing you end up doing with muslins and baby grows, you could probably get away with one for a bit, then get remeasured later.

Finally the car part turned up and I've dropped it off. They reckon they'll get to fit it today. I hope I got the right bit! And hope it fixes the problem. If not I'm looking at fixing the ecu for 500 quid and up to 10 more days to fix as they have to send the car away.

DD is asleep. I'm trying to motivate myself to get my bum off the sofa and do a few jobs. Or at least eat chocolate while she can't see me lol

I'm gutted ladies. Just been to MW and baby was engaged and in the correct position 2 weeks ago. Now he is completely un engaged and back to back.

Hubby keeps telling me to not worry and just deal with it but that's not helpful. Just sat in the garden and had a proper sob (which I don't do often)

At least I know he def won't be early now so I have plenty of time to try and turn him!
