Just had a little nap, nothing much happening at the moment but they say 24-48 hrs after a sweep so still plenty of time yet

She's 18 months. Might get it out and see what she does. She will probably just do the same as your LO!

At least u have a date for sweep now kelly, alot could happen before then though FX

Ive survived tescos but im exhausted. Ended up doing a mahoosive shop, ud think we were going into hibernation. Cant be arsed doing my batch cooking now, think another nap is in order first! x

Just a wee quick update ladies, didn't make it to induction, Baby Leah was born at 11.50 weighing 7lb 3oz with gas and air, she is gorgeous I still can't believe she is here I'm so in love xxx

I attempted a sweep at 40 weeks and my cervix was too high for it to be done properly so it probably isn't a bad thing waiting a few extra days. Still anything could happen between now and then!

My next appt is at 40+4 with the consultant. Do they do sweeps there and then? Or is it something you make an appt for? I don't want the hassle of having to keep going back to the hospital. It's a pain, I have to pay for parking. They always run late.

My appointment is made with my mw to do the sweep. Ive not seen a consultant at all x

My sweep was supposed to be tomorrow with my midwife when I'll be 40+4 but had one at the hospital last night as I was up at triage for movement. So ask your midwife at your next appt and she should be able to tell you when x

I don't know - I'm not sure how long inbetween sweeps you have to wait. I'll be seeing her anyway as a general check up...although I'm hoping labour starts tonight so I won't have to!
I don't fancy another sweep but if it gets things going it'll be worth it! X
