stupid OH has woken me and LO up getting ready for breakfast shift 5am this morning hes normally dead quiet aswel now im wide awake think possibly Alex will go back down i would just get up but im out all day and know i wont be able to nap at all. grr so pissed off

Oh how annoying!!! I woke up about 5.15am. For no reason. Went to sleep about 11.30pm. So I'll be knackered today! I might drown at aquatums this morning!

There's no reason that these period type pains aren't doing anything good. It's probably all part of it the body getting ready.

I had a pretty good night sleep. Much cooler, no fan needed. Leg has stopped hurting, I think it was linked to constipation.

Busy day ahead. More decluttering. Tidying. Cleaning. And waiting around for couriers to turn up.

What are you all doing today?

I am off to aquatums in a ridiculous outfit as have no maternity costume! Wearing a cami top and non matching bikini bottoms. All my bikini tops are indecent now!
I then have a nursery to paint!! Should study too really! And I want to line all the drawers and cupboards and clean everywhere..... Hmmm

Morning. Everyone is up early! Getting into practice hey!
Better night sleep, gonna take my daughter to toddlers, they have a bouncy castle so might push the kids of and have a good ole bounce. That or ill be chasing my daughter to get off, which looks very attractive at 39 weeks pregnant.

Then MW this afternoon. Hopefully she can give me some plans and maybe suggest a sweep.

Morning ladies! Up early again i see, what are we like! Ive never really had a problem going to sleep before, was usually so dog tired i would pass out & sleep til morning. Wouldnt even need the loo. But pass couple of nights it hasnt been the same & i dont know whats changed. Went to bed early as i was wrecked, couldnt get to sleep for hours. This morning ive the opportunity to have a lie in but im up, body & eyes feel tired & heavy but its like i cant switch off!! Im going to be really busy today again, have visitors coming & house to clean for them. Feel really frustrated & tired all time, im going to be a zombie by time bubs is here. Even when i do get a chance to nap its a weird light sleep, isnt doing the job. I just want more sleep arghhh!!!!!! Ok rant over

Also feeling abit crampy this morning, like when theres a hint of a period coming

Hope yous ladies getting pains make some progress today, we need another labour thread to cheer us all up xx

Sorry about the potential UTI spinsugar

I'm pretty sure I had a few contractions late last night. My bump was going really hard and it was hurting down at the bottom, then it stopped. I woke up about 7am and had quite strong pains coming in waves at the bottom of my bump again for about an hour this time but then they stopped

On one of my middle-of-the-night wee's I definitely felt something slippery when I wiped (sorry TMI) I tend to go in the dark when it's the middle of the night and I'm half asleep so I didn't see but it felt like quite a bit. When I went again in the morning and it was lighter I saw some and it was clear and sort of stretchy/slippery but not very thick but it did have a streak of red blood in it. I don't know if that is plug or show or what, I tried googling it and it just says 'mucus' but it doesn't describe what the mucus looks like!

Buggy that definately sounds like your plug! All those cramps were prob your cervix moving in to position and because of that, you've had a show, yay!

I was told it will look like snot!

Ooh I hope so. I don't know why I just imagined the plug would be really thick but this was more like EWCM, although like I say I didn't look at the first lot that came away... hmm Really hope baby comes today, I'll be so happy!

Hey spinsugar I phoned mw this morning and she said same bout a uti but I've had a few throughout my pregnancy and they were nothing like this I have no other sypmtoms for a uti and what's coming away is a bit like the end of ur period its bit jelly like but there's defo mucus mixed in with it so she reckons its a show just told me to keep an eye on things and that was that I hate not knowing wot things are lol! I know its hard for them to tell us too as our bodies are going through major changes at the moment!
When will u get ur results back? X

Can i ask the ladies who are having periody cramps, are u feeling it in ur back also? Im so confused by what im feeling, have cramps in lower belly but feeling it mostly in my back. Have had a sore back since yest. Thing is im finding that im holding my breath when im having the discomfort, im doing it automatically. Im not having tightenings & have never experienced bh that i know of, just know this is differant for me

Sounds promising buggy, hopefully that sweep has started something. Hope todays ur day!

Hope its not a uti spinsugar & Vic, FX its the early signs instead!

All im getting are cramps. Last night and today im getting pain in my very lower back too. But not feeling many cramps yet today. Its so bloody annoying! Lol xx

Don't worry. I was wearing similar at the lido. Surrounded by skinny people in beautiful bikinis!! At least you'll be surrounded by pregnant women.

Good luck with yodel!!! I've got city link collecting, no idea what they are like but they at least are supposed to turn up by 5.30.

My bloody show last time was very obvious. It was a glob of jelly with blood streaked in it. But my contractions had already started when I had mine, so I didn't have that anticipation of are things starting.

Yes I'm having pain in my lower back too but it is worse in the front when a pain comes but the pain in the back is more constant, hope that makes sense!
