I just got back from my sweep, went a lot better than the last one! She was able to reach and do it properly for a start. She said the head is low but could do with coming down a tiny bit more so getting on my ball in a minute! She also said the cervix is really soft and I am 2cm dilated which is a good sign. It doesn't mean that I will go in to labour soon necessarily but there is a decent chance. Have another sweep booked for Sat but my mw doesn't expect I'll be in need of it which gives me hope

Urghh my tesco plans have been put on hold, just got email to say a parcel im waiting on is to be delivered today so im now gona have to sit in, after me getting ready & about to head out door, waste of energy & make up lol. Says be delivered before 9, so could be long day I ordered a little football strip for baby as a sort of new daddy gift for oh, plan to get our surname on back. I know its not really a gift for him to use but didnt know what else to get him? Any of yous girls got ur oh any thing? So as its a surprise i have to get it & hide it on oh so im house bound till it comes.

Anna thats great news, hopefully ul get some good contractions soon!

lol now i really know how ur feeling!! Im on the sofa now so think il have a little nap. I dont want to get dressed into my comfys & start into something just for them to show up. So im gona stay dressed with full face make up on in hope il still get out to shop. They better be here before oh is home from work though, gona be hard to explain the sports direct delivery in my current condition lol. x

I am starving!
I got up, showered and got ready and now I have to leave for mw!
Oh my. May have to pick up a snack on way home as im going to the shopping centre to pick a dress up and waiting for OH to finish work at 3. Hope belly doesnt growl away while midwife is pushing around on baby lol xx

Hmm that could well be the start of labour! Why don't you want them to come yet? It's only a few days early. Are you supposed to have a c-section?

I don't think anything will happen for me that quickly but I shall keep bouncing and hope for the best!

Yeahh parcel arrived Just up from a nap to see another one of yous are getting positive signs. Could well be start of it spin sugar, has baby made any big moves recently? I think ive heard that babys could still turn during labour so hope thats true in ur case. Also plug can take days to go so hopefully nothing will happen too soon for u. Start of a baby boom on here xc

Ooh, lots going on for August mummies today! Sending labour vibes to all of you who want them!

Postman (who was really rather attractive - ha!) has just brought me my Amazon order of tens machine pads, nipple cream, speaker for MP3 player and hypnobirthing book

I've already got a hypnobirthing CD but find it just sends me to sleep so hoping the book is good. That's my afternoon sorted

OMG. Seems lots of movement is happening this morning. Wonder if anything will come off it. Exciting. Nothing for me but hopefully ill get an idea on sweeps tomorrow at midwife appt.

I had a back to back labour last time and she turned at the last minute. But still had to go through labour with her back to back.
It's all unpredictable up until the last minute.
