Don't forget that the hospitals used have high risk patients. And they aren't going to show too many perfect births...that would make boring tv!

I watched one born right up to I gave birth last time. I love watching labours and births!

Yay my daughter had 100% success rate with weeing in the potty today.

Did everyone get rain tonight? We did, it was lovely. Really cooled things down. First night in weeks where I don't need the fan on in the bedroom.

Thats brilliant giz, well done to you and your daughter you must be pleased. Thats such good progress in a short time.

We had a bit of thunder and lightening and heaps of rain. I have not yet been in the bedroom but OH told me is pretty cool. So I sure hope we wont need our fan either

Yay for the potty, so glad its going in the right direction for you!

Yes we had rain, at long last! So needed. Hasn't cooled much though, our thermostat has only dropped by 1oC so wanted to put the duvet back on!
Will def be putting socks on though tonight!

Can i just ask, is any of u ladies in agony getting up in the mornings? Its so painful these days, could do with a hoist to get me out lol. Ive noticed im getting more crampy sort of pains low in my bump & loadsssss more discharge, is this what its like? x

Yes! I find it hard standing up. Feels like tops of my legs and belly are sooo heavy and cramped up!
As for discharge, im not sure whats normal. But, im getting more and its thicker than before and also feel damp every few days. Cramps are a pain too! Sigh x

sounds all too familiar lol it doesnt get better either! lol i feel worst than iv ever felt throughout the whole preg ! just keep a pad on from now lil nappies i call them lol

we had no thunder or lightening last night kel!! i was devastated lol lots n lots of rain tho! loved fallin alseep to cooler weather n rain think i could of easily gone and stood outside in it ! haha

39 weeks today and iv had enough!! alls i wanna do is go for a walk round the shops n go for an ice cream or somethin, just generally be able to go out n do somethin. but im too exhausted, miserable and big to do anythin now all this sunshine and lovely weather outside and what do i wanna do?? stay inside where im cool load of crap!! rant over!!lol xx

I'm ok getting up in the mornings but getting up for a wee during the night is increasingly difficult and painful! I agree - everything aches!

Charlotte - big hugs, sounds like ur really struggling! Could u drive and park right near the ice cream van? Then you don't have to wonder too far?

Were finally going to try and get the nursery done today. If I can extract hubby from his tablet. He always moans we never do anything but I sit around waiting for him half the day which he plays on his tablet. Soooo annoying. I told him its banned when I'm in labour and he said fine, he won't come then! Men!

i could drive somewhere to get an ice cream and stuff yeah (well my OH could cuz im not drivin no more ) but i dont want to just drive somewhere ! i wanna go for a nice walk n get up and about and the thought of even gettin ready exhausts me its horrible ! least im givin kellys ears a rest, she usually hears me moanin at least once a day over text!! haha now the poor girls got come on here n see it! lol shes gonna want this baby out more than me soon lol i was ok til about 36 weeks n then its been downhill from there n i just cant seem to cope now want him out so bad xx

cant believe thats the answer you got from your OH ! lol yes i agree on the tablet being banned when your in labour, all attention needs to be on you!!

my OH has been so patient with me through this preg , the poor man has had to listen to my moods for months lol hes been really good with me always tryin make me laugh and do stuff with me bless him xx

Good luck with nursery today spinsugar. That tablet situation sounds the opposite to us. I said to OH he will have to take tablet to hospital so that he has something to do. He said, nah, I dont wanna play games on that while u need me. Bless! Xx

I know what you mean. My dad invited me to the park the other day with him and his wife and my young brother whos only 18 months. I said yeh as I wanted to get out. But it was bloody difficult! It was boiling, packed as it was first day of school holidays and I was sweating (pleasant) so I defo cant wait to be able to go out for a Normal nice walk with OH and baby Joshua in a few weeks. No doubt it will snow or something though aha.

As for me, dont worry, I expect u to bw extremely happy once he arrives and tell me how great you feel :-D hehe

Yeh scotts been great too. I bet all our OH's have been amazing and ita hard to thank them enough. Im thinking of treating Scott to something once baby arrived. But, im not sure what money ill have to play with as the wages will drop and we have mums wedding coming up. Will have to see xx

Yes ive started wearing the little nappies too, anything to feel less gross lol. Between more toilet trips to poop (sorry tmi lol) exhaustion & feeling like i wana boke, i agree the final weeks seem so much harder. i felt like i was hungover this morning!

We are decorating nursery today too. Well when i say we i mean the oh is, im just supervising lol. Cant wait till its finish & can move everything back in & get it organised.

It rained so hard here last night it flooded OHs car not good. But had a lovely night the two of us watching a DVD eating crap lol

At mums tonight but agreed to make dinner didn't realize for how many people though 8 of us so i have done a lasange not very impressive but I really cant be bothered to do anything fancy, i did however realize after putting it in the oven that lasange gives me really bad acid reflux

how is everyone feeling today- despite the rain last night its stupidly hot here again today so i am hot and sweaty and uncomfortable!

Awww ive felt nausous all day, whats that about? Also getting wee crampy aches & pains in bump & lady bits. Im guessing its our bodys way of gearing up :/

Kelly....i was thinking the same about getting a pressy for oh. Im the same, my pay has already been cut so couldnt afford anything big. Are u getting it from baby to oh or from u? Has anyone any gift ideas?? I dont have clue!! xx

Im not sure. I looked at new dad gifts on the internet and there is not much on there. I was thinking something he will enjoy without me but no idea what yet

I was also planning on making it from just me but, I may get a baby present for him. Just something like sweets. X

Yeah I struggle getting out of bed in the morning. Takes me a while. I find it best to stay on my feet for a while in the morning while baby shifts back down again!!

Morning ladies! Hope you are well. I gave up trying to sleep. Kept getting woken by really odd cramps! I might try and nap after seeing MW today.

Well the rain and storms have finally caught up with us! Lovely and cool outside but its taking a while for the flat to cool down!
