Yes, I have washed everything now, including towels, blankets, bedding and toys! It's all in the wardrobe, ready and waiting.

I have quite a lot of housework to do but I'm sweating just sitting still! lol

Great news at the appt. He's in a perfect position, Dr says the cramps and shooty foof are good signs, and baby is 1/5 engaged. Its a start eh

Hey ladies, glad to see yous are all still sweating & over heating too lol Sounds like some of yous are getting ready to greet baby soon too, its getting exciting!!

Ive been super busy recently, finished getting all my baby bits (i think) including alittle trip to next sale. Picked up some unisex things, cant wait to find out what we have & go colour mad!! Ive been washing everything all past week trying to take advantage of the good weather. Clothing all smells lush, looks so cute all stored away

Just my hosp bag to finish this week & next week im making freezable dinners. Oh & between all that im putting new floors down & painting/decorating three rooms Ahh if i didnt laugh id cry, gona be a nightmare really!

Feeling abit nervous tonight, got a consultant appointment tomorrow to discuss my little breech baby & what options are. Growth had slowed last time aswell so hope thats improved cos feel ive put loads of weight on recently. Keep fx itl be good news & baby shifts itself naturally pretty sharpish.

I know you said your bump had dropped but did u know he must be engaged. Were the bump dropping and shooty pains the only signs? I wanna feel him being engaged but i really dont think he is. Do movements change?

I've been getting some cramp in my pelvis and down my legs it gets pretty uncomfortable I bounce on my ball which seems to help. I am so ready in myself to have my baby but my house is upside down lol! Got told the other day I won't b receiving my nursery furniture until August! I'm due 15th! Was not happy one bit they gave me wrong info in the first place so they took full responsibility and gave me my cot mattress for free! Quite right! I feel so disorganised and kind of at a stand still cos I can't really sort his nursery until the furniture is here!
Hope everyone is coping in this heat its been murder!

Next sale is worth it, its all their summer stock so was some lovely sleepsuits & little outfits half price. I was saying to oh im gona spend fortune at the next one once bubs is here & we know which team we are....cant wait

Woken up today feeling weird. Headache, tummy ache and a bit blocked up. Very restless for the last hour. Feel a bit tingly too lol. Im tired but can not get back to sleep! xx

I am sooooooo tired! I seem to be averaging about 4 hours sleep a night at the moment what with the heat and loo trips! It's really starting to get to me, I used to love going to bed now I hate it as I know what it involves! Also when I nap in the day I often have nightmares and wake feeling worse. Any tips for better sleeping? I wish I could take a sleeping tablet just one night to get some sort of pattern back but know I can't. It's starting to impact my daily life as I argue with my OH more as I'm so tired and now in getting panicked about labour happening as if this non sleeping continues I worry I won't have the energy!
What are you ladies finding useful to relax? I always feel so restless during the day and like I "should" be doing something. I'm just feeling a bit down at the moment - anyone elder feeling it too? Sorry for the early morning whinge! Xxx

I had my first early morning this morning. Have had to get up and I know your slightly ahead of. Me so im wondering of this is just what we have to put up with? So sorry to hear about nightmares in your day time naps. I honestly have no suggestions at all. Ive been sleeping so well with only one wee trip a night.
I know our bodies are supposed to prepare us for when the baby comes along but sleep is so important when we can get it I hope you will find a solution. I found the sleep mist from mum and me range very good. But, I didnt use that last night n funnily enough, im now awake! Usually im fast asleep now for another 3 hours or so.
Sounds like your body is getting ready for little one. Ready to be a busy mum x

I think the heat is the biggest problem with sleeping at the moment. Last time, yes I had the odd bad night, but nothing like this. In this heat I want to toss and turn in bed a lot to find cool patches, but that absolutely kills.

I had the added bonus of cramp at 4am this morning.

It really does suck being heavily pregnant in summer. I never appreciated the comments I got last time saying it was better having a winter baby with regards to pregnancy.

I brought mine from Tesco. It was down the aisle with the baby toiletries. Boots sell it too but cant say ive seen it anywhere else xx

The heat at night is horrible giz! I dont really suffer much usually but I find my hair needs washing just about every day atm due to getting sweaty at night. I will never daily wash my hair as I would ruin it so much! Its a nightmare.
I cant say I like comments about being pregnant in summer. Ill say how happy I am that its so sunny whenever somebody says I must be struggling. Ill only say it when I want to!

Vic27 how can they deliver your furniture so late! What a bad service! Hopefully everything will arrive soon. Fingers crossed. I'm already getting a bit nervous as it's not all here and set up yet.

Anna456 it's so awful when you can't sleep at night! I've had relaxation exercises with yoga class which sometimes really help. When in your bed focus on each part of your body to strengthen it and relax afterwards. Also your face. You then feel very relaxed and sleeping will be easier. We also make sure the room get's fresh air before we go to bed. Hope it will go better soon!

Giz I think pregnancies are never easy but I'm definitely thinking of a winter baby next time. This heat is just too much!


My first nephew was born this morning with 39 + 3 weeks I'm so happy! It's my first nephew, I only had a niece so far which is his big sister. So exciting. It's the baby of my twin sister so extra special. As my sister lives abroad I will only be able to see the baby in December for the first time We haven't planned it very well! xx
