Yes this is my first. We fell into the fortunate category of people who stop trying not to get pregnant and hit the jackpot on the first try I've been fairly lucky and not had too many tricky symptoms - the worst for me has been the heartburn/acid reflux and swollen feet - we had 36 degrees over here (in Switzerland) a few weeks ago, which really kicked it all off. However, I've been assured that my ankles will reappear after the birth at some point

How's it been for all of you?

I can sympathise with the impatient feeling - every week I say to my boyfriend something along the lines of "remember that wedding we went to? Well that much time in the future she'll be here!" - all seeming very close now!

Ooh Switzerland, very nice! I visited briefly in September last year!

Yeah not too bad really, can't complain too much, I think I've been quite lucky. Feeling sick and tired on and off and had some itching, being hot etc. Nothing major.

Definitely feeling impatient, although it has gone so quick still feels like a long time in a weird way!

I will be exactly like u come 37 weeks. Im already looking at stories of people who hsd babies at 36/37 weeks without any signs prior to labour lol. Hope its soon. Im excited for these August babies :-D xx

Sounds great and pretty much like myself. Ive been very lucky. We also decided the same thing. We thought we wont try but we wont not try. And then conceived two months later. Although my period finished 1 month later :-S. I will never understand that!

No sickness, heartburn, indigestion or anything. Just getting the swollen feet now too.

Its not long now. For any of us. And very exciting!

By the way, I dont envy your 36degree heat! Yikes! Xx

Yes Kelly it's about time for the August babies to come out. I think Buggy is going to be next. What do you think Buggy?
Really hope it's not going to be me as it's way too early now and we need at least one more week to finish the nursery and pack the hospital bag.

Welcome Loueeza! Not long to wait for your little girl! Hopefully the rest of the summer won't be too hot!

Yesterday I got a call from the nurse. There was no glucose in my sample anymore yesterday. Feeling so relieved! They sent it off anyway as it looks like I may have an infection. As long as that's all I'm happy. xx

Can i share my excitement ladies?
My mum is getting remarried in September. She has booked us a room so that we can keep the little man with us all day and night. He could be as little as three weeks old when we go or 5 if he is on time.
So i can't order anything yet, but im looking at the little baby grow suits and real suits all over the internet and getting super excited to put him in a cute little outfit. I feel so proud already and i dont even know why lol xx

Thats not what i have chosen (but is just cute) as OH wants to go to the wedding with the three us in the same Colour. I will buy a purple dress as i am bridesmaid and OH will have a purple tie. But i don't mind what colour baby wears as long as its comfy for him.

How cute!! No weddings for us now until April, but already thinking about outfits! For me as well as for her - will be good to be back to "normal" size and be able to dip in to my pool of dresses (I hope...!)

Oh I sooo hope you are right! I'm so excited for it to all get underway. Went out for a long walk this evening. My bump is seeming big and bulging, I think she is plenty big enough, I'm worried she will be a whopper if she stays in there much longer

Last day at work today (in theory) yay! Slept so bad though...oh well!

Kept getting very odd sensations last night, kinda like bad IBS cramps, and the worst shooty foof pain when I went to the loo. So much thst I yelped and hubby had to help me back to bed, oh dear!

26 days to go.
Today id like to go out in the garden and top up my tan and then get a shower. But I ordered OH his suit the other day and it said delivery will be 23rd July. Although today it says its out for delivery. . Sigh..

Worst part of that is, we brought it from Next and paid £99. Now its on half price! Bigger sigh!

I did look at the next sale as I wanted a dress but by time I had logged in and put it in my basket, it was out of stock! Lol xx

Can't you buy it in the half price sale and then return the other one saying it don't fit?

It's too hot for me today. Really suffering. Probably not helped by not enough sleep either due to a staff party last night. I feel exhausted. Just sat watching telly with the fan on full blast.

Feeling guilty too as I was meant to go out today with my daughter but I don't think I can cope in this heat. will have to make it up tomorrow when hubby is home to run around after her for me!
