*** August mummies 2019 ***

When I googled it there’s a lot of answers sayings it’s silent acid reflux?

Just want it to go, it’s constant, had enough! Tried Gaviscon but not really helping. X

I was diagnosed with sinusitis, must be something different you have x

Just got back from am emergency scan since I started to bleed red...

Just before she was about to start the scan, I told the midwife I was feeling feverish since 2 or 3 days, and she said, oh no... And told me that we should still hope for the best.

When she started scanning, I was frantically looking for a heartbeat but found none. The foetus looked odd too. Since she didn't really see anything externally, she checked vaginally too. But still no more heartbeat...

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow sadly, so will now discuss on how to remove the foetus instead of guessing the gender.

I don't know how to feel, I haven't stopped crying...

Kitana,
I am so so so sorry to read your words...
I wish there were soothing words but none are strong enough to take away the sadness in these difficult times...
I lived exactly the same thing a few months ago at roughly the exact same time in the pregnancy... and to be honest with you the only things that helped were those :
Crying, communicating with my partner, crying even more...
talking about it has been the best medication in my case, but only after a little while, as the news needed to sink in first.
Try not to feel like you can’t tell anybody about it, as it is such a hard time to go through. It used to be taboo but I believe the awareness is growing daily and the best way to feel better is to have the people you want to support you.
Sending you lots of cuddles all the way to our home country.
Xxx

I’m so so sorry, devastated for you :-(

So sorry to hear that.
Only advice is can give is don’t bottle your emotions up, let them out. Try also. Or to question why. We are all here for you whenever even you need.
Just focus on yourself

@Kitana - I am so so sorry hun. I am absolutely heartbroken for you.
Rest up darling and make sure you let every emotion out.
As ever we are all here for you but make sure you have your nearest and dearest around you at this awful time.
Sending you massive hugs <3  xx

Oh Kitana, I am truly heartbroken for you, no words will take your pain away, but we are all here for you if you want to talk. Sending you the biggest  xxxx

Try some omeprazole. It works a treat for me. And is safe in pregnancy.
It’s expensive in boots like 8£ a box though (called nexium)
Or ask your doctor for a free prescription :)

Did you ask your doctor about taking these as they advise not to use when pregnant? X

On the nhs website it says “your doctor might give you ranitidine twice a day or oneprazole twice a day”
I assumed it was safe. And on American websites it states it’s the most common anti acid given in pregnancy !
Call them just in case but honestly life saving here !
(I’ve researched it a lot myself but I am a trained nurse and have been a lot into obstetrics in the past which makes me less worried...)

Ok thanks, I looked on Nexium website and it said they don’t advise using when pregnant and to speak to doctor first. I’ll try anything if it’s safe, had enough of this horrible feeling! X
