I've been trying to upload pics but I don't have them on an URL?!
I have managed to place the 13 wk scan as an avatar (shows this end, so hopefully does your end).
See whether anyone can guess gender? We're team yellow at the moment.

I'll go boy :) x

Awhh that's so pretty.

We rent so I don't wanna paint bright pink in her room ha! It's cream so I'm tempted to leave it and just hang a few pictures around and fill it with teddies lol x

Same here (nursery)

Ah I rent too, but we're allowed to decorate so we are going to :) We haven't bothered with the rest of the house, everything is magnolia on top of awful wood bark wallpaper ha. We decided to see if we could get rid of it in the soon to be nursery :)

We're allowed to decorate but when we leave everything has to be out back to normal, it was the same with our last house, and now we're fighting the landlord for the deposit because the landlord said it hasn't been professionally done (doesn't say anywhere in the contract it has to be a professional job) and we only decorated the living room, he's trying to say we've decorated everywhere and the paint job is shit now in every room ahaha but we didn't touch it. I think he'll have problems proving it cos there wasn't a inventory done. So we're leaving everything the same and not touching it, it's mainly yellow and cream so it isn't bad anyway lol. I hate renting, we're saving for a house atm should take a few years now with baby and me not working. I was earning 300 a week before we moved which went straight into saving. X

Just felt some super big movements! It was so weird, but amazing! X

Bloody landlords PB. What are they like. Thank goodness for the deposit protection scheme.
The last house I rented i had to pay out to get the carpets professionally cleaned and I'd only lived there 6 months. :(

Gorgeous Christmas outfit Tasha. Good thinking!

How did it go yesterday H4R? Not too much prodding i hope.

Spuds, I'll guess boy.

My daughter is in nursery today and i have a "proper" day off.
Going to go shopping this afternoon and going out for an afternoon tea with DH as a bit of a treat. I've had a tough few weeks as have applied for a new job and have been going to interviews etc. Stressful. Still a while til i know anything.

Happy Friday everyone.
Xxx

Ooh, also i have 2 weddings this summer, one in May and one June. Would love to get a nice outfit and make the most of the bump.
Any recommendations for maternity occasion wear gratefully received.
Thanks.

I have a wedding in october, can dress her up nic3 and fancy ahaha. We having nothing this summer last year had like 4 christenings and a few weddings. Im jealous aha! X

I have a wedding in may and one in June too, and I have no clue where am going to get anything from or whether to just wear something I already have, as if I keep going this way with my bump size maternity dresses will be far too big haha I am currently in the process of trying to decorate my little boys room and am having no clue with it either, my brain just doesn't seem to be functioning just now.
Yay for movement and scans and bumps and everything, so much going on with this thread, sometimes find it hard to keep up haha hope your all well xxx

We've got two weddings too, one in August and one sept so I'll be very pregnant and just given birth for them. I have no idea what too wear.

Anyone got scans appointments today?

Hoping4rainbow- how was your appointment yesterday lovely x

Hi Ladies,

Haven't been on here for ages - been so busy with moving and getting life sorted up north.

Little one seems to be growing well, but i was getting a bit anxious a couple of weeks ago, with going through fertility treatment and so much working against us I wasn't really trusting the baby was fine (especially as hadn't felt anything) and wasn't really getting much enjoyment out of being pregnant. So hubby booked us a scan and it was just amazing to see the baby and hear the heartbeat again!! This was at 17+6, and its just amazing. Look at those long legs!! And in the last picture the baby is sucking his/her thumb and holder their face :cloud9:

Still team yellow - although may find out at the anomaly scan on 5th April....

Loving seeing all the bump and baby scan pictures!! And the nurseries! Everyone is so organised!!

We actually already bought our pram, as got a great deal at the baby show we went to last week, and found the bedside cot I wanted on ebay too. Not going to have a nursery till next year - we just moved into our house and decided to have a dressing room instead, so our bedroom is nice and tranquil for us and the baby, and we don't disturb the baby when we go to bed/get up (my dh works late at the weekends). We'll think about a proper room next year - want to baby as close to me as possible to start with :).

Lots of love to you all xxx

Again, it cut off my message are! I am going to be a beached whale walking down in front of her haha! I got a maternity bridesmaid dress which I paid for since my first dress was never going to fit me. Its becoming a very expensive wedding so far!

Yep I agree, renting is a complete ball ache! But I think we should be able to buy our own place within the next 3 years fingers crossed, my OH is paid pretty well and has a company share save thing he is paying into. So fingers crossed.

Fab pics delta, I love the 3D ones. They're so clever!

Scan this afternoon. Feeling a bit nervous now and I forgot to take my notes with me to work (and I work right next the hospital) oops! Sending my OH to get them on his way from work ha. I'm gonna blame baby brain :p

It went well yesterday, thanks my girls xx

Another internal (but only scan this time, no hands to 'feel' behind the cervix ewww), the mass hasn't grown that much, only a little which isn't worrying the consultant said so he's happy to check it again at 28 weeks. It will be a good point to also check baby for my other risk (involving previous baby history).

I guess NHS are understandably stingy when it comes to MRI scans as they're so expensive, so in any case I'll go and get my private consultant's opinion, hopefully he'll agree it's not necessary. It's just that two separate private consultants had recommended an MRI without further discussion/checks required, in order to confirm the growth's nature (i.e. it being benign) but now on NHS we're just monitoring the mass for growth/changes etc. All I want is consistency from consultants really, hopefully I'll get it. I'll try to book a private appointment for next week.

And something bizarre. It seems my placenta, although so far noted as anterior high in all of my scan notes, is now anterior low?! And apparently very close to the cervix opening?! Weird, but it will hopefully move back up again as the uterus grows xx

~ Did exactly the same as Delta
with our first, re. our own bedroom and spare room used as dressing room. I kept him in our room until he was 1 and then moved him to his nursery (and our clothes back to our bedroom lol). Now our second baby is coming we're moving to a bigger house in May. Can't do anything until then! I could panic but I won't, as I have bigger problems occupying my mind lol

Amazing scan pics Delta!!! Long legs indeed!!! :cloud9:

~ Elspeth and MissCharli,
you have your anomaly scans today right?? Good luck and enjoy! Thinking of you both xx

~ Enjoy your afternoon tea Elspeth, I'm very jealous!
But you so deserve it sweetheart xx

Oh and, Elspeth,

I swear by maxi dresses, they saved me in similar occasions when I was expecting my first boy! I just like comfort and floaty-ness (hence coolness) in the summer when pregnant! (love my made up words :p )

These are just maxi dresses, I know some might look a bit more casual than others, but get some ideas anyway and play with the filters a bit to have a look at other maternity styles too:

Like maternity Spanx PB? I don't think they're recommended cos they're so restrictive but might be worth a google haha.
