What would you ladies recommend for the first big thing to buy? We're going shopping on Saturday, and buying one big thing with every pay day. (Hubby's parents are buying us the cot so we're just gonna pick that out, if it's too expensive were gonna put half to it because I don't wanna pick from price) lol x

Scan is at 430! So I get to leave work an hour early yay It was supposed to be next week but the OH realised he was in Cardiff with work... after it was booked! Men!

Sorry ladies I'm afraid we were all wrong I'm team blue as well! I should have gone with my gut reaction at the 12 weeks scan. Just a little disappointed my little girl isn't getting a sister yet - the pressure will be on for baby 4! I know they'll both love having a baby brother though although I worry my son will be more jealous than his sister was of him! X

Everyone team yellow I'm guessing you are having girls - the only way it's gonna balance out x

We won't be disappointed with a girl obviously but we do have a preference for a boy so not wishing a girl on us just yet pls

Good luck with the scans ladies! Is 20 week scan the last one?

I've woke.up with a stuffy nose, headache and sick! Think kidney infection had bought my immune system even more down! Trying my hardest not to be sick cos I'll throw up the anti biotics. x

I was told I had an UTI and took antibiotics - I think it'd gone to my kidney and that may have caused all those weird symptoms I was having. It cleared up and I have felt so much better. Persevere with them; it will be worth it. The week after was when I heard the heart beat the first time, so re-assurance for you that antibiotics didn't have a negative impact.x

We rent so I don't wanna paint bright pink in her room ha! It's cream so I'm tempted to leave it and just hang a few pictures around and fill it with teddies lol x

PB i'd second the pram/car seat. Depending on what you go for mothercare etc sometimes do offers where the car seat is thrown in with the pram if you are buying a travel system. I have the maxi cosi pebble car seat and would thoroughly recommend it as everything comes off to wash and therefore I will now be using it for my third baby and it still looks like brand new. Whereas my brother had a silvercross one for his first baby then less than two years later he had his second and they bought a maxi cosi cabriofix because the silvercross one hadnt lasted x

Ah I rent too, but we're allowed to decorate so we are going to We haven't bothered with the rest of the house, everything is magnolia on top of awful wood bark wallpaper ha. We decided to see if we could get rid of it in the soon to be nursery
