August 2017 babies!

Charli it feels forever till tri 3 though doesn't it!!!
I don't want to wish it all way especially as I'm lucky enough to be feeling quite well and actually enjoying it so far but I am so looking forward to him being here now!!

I like the full on boys stuff like the space ships, and the nautical theme and really all the boy themes but if I was having a girl I would have lots of white and little bits of baby pink here and there, looks gorgeous not over kill!

Yeah I feel pretty good too luckily, fingers crossed we both stay that way :)

I love boys stuff more than girls too. I really want to get the cosatto travel system with the rocket design cos I think it looks amazing. But v expensive! I'm not as fussed with girly stuff, I guess cos I'm not very girly myself. I don't think I own anything pink :p

Feel better soon, Jill and PeanutButter!

Anomaly scan tomorrow!
What time is yours Jill?? Mine is at 13:30 xx

Goodluck with scans !

Still need to book mine.. I'm way to chilled out :-/

Charli that set is gorgeous!
My hubby work is space related so we do like space theme but I have bought curtains with ships on before I was pregnant so it's going to be ships
Hubby also been into flying light air craft so his family like air craft baby clothes and nursery theme too many nice ideas!!!
I need a different theme on every wall !! Lol

Yes long may our luck continue with feeling good!

Only thing I'm worried about is I was feeling lots of movement last week and I like to feel it lots or I get worried I can go couple of days now with barely any movement just subtle very rare...
it's worrying me a bit..
time to book that 20week scan I think x

Good luck with the scans tomorrow!

I've been busy all evening sorting out all my baby clothes. I bought vacuum storage bags so that I could put all my little girl's stuff in them because obviously they won't be used for a while now and also for the 6 months + stuff of my little boys. Everything is now sorted into ages and neatly packed away so I know exactly where to go to for everything. Also allowed me to see what I do and don't have in terms of the seasons e.g I don't have much warm winter stuff for the 3-6 month area so need to concentrate on that whenever I'm tempted to buy things. It was sad seeing all my little girl bits get packed away but hopefully they'll be out again at some point in the future! Glad it's not just me that got upset about it not being another girl they were having!

I'll have to upload a photo of our nursery - I finished it in February of last year just before my son was born. I wanted it to be unisex as we were planning more children so it's animal themed wallpaper that I used. It has all sorts of colours in it so I figured I could change things like the plain coloured blind if I wanted to make it more gender specific - eg I could swap the green blind we have for a pink one to pick out the flamingoes in the wallpaper if I was having a girl. My children love pointing and shouting at all the animals!

Miss Charli my bump is enormous but a lot of it is fat from the last two babies and I wish I was smaller - I feel disgusting! It's also a lot easier to move around while you are smaller so don't wish the time away too much :) x

Good luck with the scans ladies! Is 20 week scan the last one?

I've woke.up with a stuffy nose, headache and sick! Think kidney infection had bought my immune system even more down! Trying my hardest not to be sick cos I'll throw up the anti biotics. :( x

Good luck for scans ladies :) a week tomorrow until mine, totally crapping myself for it, just wish I could get it over and done with. That's me 19 weeks today, time seems to be speeding up which am actually really grateful for, roll on August haha I know they say not to wish it away but I felt like a new woman after having my son compared to when pregnant and think the same will happen this time, don't think me and pregnancy go well together haha. Hope your all doing well, loving the gender reveals and the baby shopping, I am trying to restrain myself as went crazy baby shopping with my first and all the new baby stuff is neutral so really don't need anything until baby is here. Also loving the bump pictures, keep all your pics coming, there's no point me putting one as I literally have nothing haha xxx

Thanks girls! xx

Yes PeanutButter,
typically the last scan (crazy eh?!) - unless we're consultant led, OR it arises from this scan that there needs to be another scan (or more) along the way to monitor/check some issue before birth.

I can definitely imagine your immune system has taken another hit! How long is your course of antibiotics?
I am not a fun of ginger, so I found that sipping peppermint tea is helping me a bit with the nausea, so do fruit teas with citrus fruits in, like St Clements. I have trouble sleeping from stuffy nose and dry sore throat because I have to breath through my mouth it's horrible! :( Hope you feel better soon xx

I haven't gone properly through all the stuff I've been given, I do see the starting sizes are all 0-3 which is great but as Athena, was as 5lbs 9oz, i might pick up some tiny and newborn stuff just in case. I'm waiting until May to move Athena to The bigger bedroom so will wash all the baby stuff then. My hubby is extremely ill today, I think I will have to go to the scan myself. X

Hello lovely ladies, we've just had our anomaly scan and we will be joining team pink. Hope everyone else's scans go well today xx

Yay another girl :)

Yep last scan for most, I get one at 34 weeks. And you probably will get more too if you're consultant lead PB?

I'm just excited for my 20 week scan, don't feel nervous as all. Only 2 days to go!

I am trying not to wish it away, just not a fan of this but in the middle where I feel bigger and like I should have a bump but actually I just look chunky and like I've had too many pies lol. But I'm sure in a few months time I'll be wishing it was small again haha.

Here's a photo of our nursery when I finished it last year - it has a set of drawers with a hanger in it now x

Oh no Jill. Your poor hubby. And poor you. Hope all goes well.
H4R, how did your scan go?

Congratulations Greendaze.

Oooh Rose.
I love the wallpaper. Just beautiful.
And great for little one like you say.
Where did you get it?

We never properly decorated my daughters room. :( She never really went in to the nursery that we had decorated as it quickly became apparent i would be co-sleeping with her so we moved in to the bigger spare room with a double mattress on the floor!

We are moving house in the summer so I won't be able to prepare a room for a while.

Love seeing what other people have done though.

Xx

Awhh that's so pretty.

We rent so I don't wanna paint bright pink in her room ha! It's cream so I'm tempted to leave it and just hang a few pictures around and fill it with teddies lol x

~ I love it Rose! So beautiful and perfectly balanced colour/gender wise! xx

~ Congrats Greendazes! Yay for team pink! :cheer:

Just got back from my anomaly scan, all seems fine! Pictures are shite though! I only got to see them after I got out, as they keep your notes and hand them to you later with the scan pics, while you go to a machine to pay for them and get 'tickets' to hand back to reception.

Here's is the best one: a pic of his leg lol

I am sure she could have done better with pics, as during the scan I saw cute poses of him with his hands close to his face, clear views of his face and nose and lips etc...but I guess these were just the stills she had kept so she just pressed 'print'...She did spend ages examining his heart though and explained loads of stuff reassuring me she was getting what she was expecting as the norm, so I am very grateful for that :cloud9:

~ Good luck Jill,
will be waiting for your update!
Sorry to hear hubby isn't any better :( xx

I have my consultant appointment tomorrow, I'll be even more stressed for that (internal exam again ewwww) to measure the growth behind my uterus (I call it my other baby :p ) and review the need for MRI to confirm it is not of nasty nature.

Lots of love everyone xx
