Was round at a friends house last night for a dinner party. Designated driver. One couple had brought some sloe gin that they'd especially made for me. wasn't even able to try it!! They said they'd make some more for me though!!! Had a lovely time,didn't get home until 2:30! Shattered isn't the word!!!xx

Great pic Caire! I just got my scan letter through the door midday, on Jan 15th. Seems soooo far away, just cannot wait!! KWarbee, I have major bloat bump too,going to start taking pics from 12 weeks I think! X

I lied, it's 14 days, 2 weeks today. Ha, it's a day closer already.

That's pretty impressive for bloat! I still have a bit but I don't think it's quite as big as it was.
I haven't taken any photos yet. Think I will once scan is done.x

I've started taking pictures as I have a pregnany journal that has a section for pictures from 9 weeks! So I figured I should start now even if I'll be taking pictures of nothing but a big bloated tummy for however many weeks!

Thats a lovely picture Claire - isn't it amazing, I'm looking forward to 5th Jan when its our 12 week scan!

Hubby said to me he thought I had a bump - its bloat! But I love having something there - especially if I wear certain outfits there is a good bump there!

What's everyone upto - I'm just about to eat a sausage and bacon sarnie! Then wrapping pressies.

It's so lovely and goes up to baby's first birthday for all those special milestones in the first year. Only problem is my friend has also bought us the same journal! So we've got a spare one for baby #2 in a few years time!

I'm just at work at the moment, finishing a very late lunch. Getting distracted by Christmas songs and chocolate though! Bet that sausage and bacone sarnie was good! xx

Sorry I haven't been on this thread for a while. How is everyone doing?

I'm discovering the joys of hardly being able to take any medicines while full of cold / cough when pregnant! We took the boys to Edinburgh for the weekend (which was fab!) but I was so ill! I spent around half an hour in Asda reading the backs of all the medicines and walked away with Halls Soothers and a Vicks inhaler! lol.

I'll be 13 weeks on Christmas day and we have our first scan on Christmas eve. I'm a little nervous but my sister is (in her own words) "bricking it" LOL. So I am trying to stay calm and positive on her behalf. Her and her hubby have had such a long and heartbreaking journey to end up here I don't think she really expects everything to go smoothly. So fingers crossed!

I have a bump to birthday pregnancy journal. It's lovely. I've enjoyed filling it in,although was a bit awkward filling it in this week as at dating scan I was a week behind. We've been taking weekly belly pictures on a Sunday night each week!! I'm getting a bump,but have managed to lose weight due to decreased appetite!!

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas as I might not be back in for a few days!!!x
