_•~•*XoXoX*•~•_ JULY 2015 Mummies-To-Be _•~•*XoXoX*•~•_

Congratulations boosh really glad you had a happy healthy scan

I feel strange i have had really bad tummy ache for two days now
My symptoms have gone and I'm so worried that baby is not growing or still ok
I just want the scan letter to come and 12 weeks to hurry up
I feel so sick with worry exp now I ised my Doppler too
Maybe it's still to early I dunno : ( x

Millie, that's awful news so sorry I know how hard it is to go through, but must be even worse after having a scan showing everything OK at 8 weeks. Thinking of you xx

Awww Millie,I'm so so sorry Hun! Sending big hugs your way!! I hope that you and OH are supporting each other and in time you'll get through it! I'm thinking of you!! Massive hugs xxxx

Millie, thoughts are with you.

Had quite a big weekend and wishing I had a day off tmrw. Quite the opposite, sadly.
Was feeling excited this evening and as I was coming down the stairs, oh was at the bottom. He opened his arms for a hug and I droppped into them from two steps up, completely forgetting about my boobs being sore. Holy mother of painful. I think I burst his eardrum with my reaction.
And the stomach muscles feel like I've been doing a daily abdominL workout for about a fortnight.
So grateful there's still no sickness.

I could sleep forever.

Millie so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you xxxx

Boosh, lovely to hear your scan went well. Look forward to seeing the picture. That's so great that you saw baby moving around :)

Crawkay and Laura, my symptoms seem to come and go and my nausea is definitely not as bad as it was a few weeks ago. I still have a few symptoms but they seem quite mild. It's really normal for symptoms to fluctuate and for them to seem milder once you hit the 9-10 week mark. Try not to worry too much, although I know it can be hard. Hoping babies are fine

I'm 9 weeks today (by my early scan, 9+4 from lmp)
Officially got my 12 week scan booked too!! So excited. It's on the 29th December. I'm actually quite happy that it's after Christmas and it's only 3 weeks away so not too long at all.

I do also have a private scan booked for this Wednesday. I booked it before I had my NHS early scans and the deposit is non-refundable so we decided to still go for it. Hopefully it should go well and we have some more reassuring news.

Hope you're all well xx

Right trying again to load the picture - hope it works! x

Ahhhhh its a ikkle buba!!!!!!

Symptoms - mine seem to come and go aswell, cramps/stich feeling was really bad saturday but nothing today!!! Nausea comes and goes in waves - some days its horrific and some its abit better. Im glad im not at work with my head down the loo everyday anymore but hope its normal and just means the placenta is starting too take over and nothing else. 12weeks scan 2weeks tomorrow :):) just ordered our cards from moonpig with this lush poem in it and a slot to put the pic in for our parents! Im seeing my dad today (he lives abroad) so he will be told today. But noone else till xmas day! Im so excited!
Xxxxx

Boosh, that's an amazing pic! Congrats hon! :yay:

Ladies with disappearing symptoms... The placenta is kicking in now, taking over care for your baby, and taking over symptoms for you. It's the building/creating/growing of the placenta that really saps the energy/causes the sickness/etc, so now that it's formed and starting to really work, your symptoms will (mostly) fade. (For the unfortunate they'll continue, but, they should be easing).

Tri 2 is the "easy" time. The placenta's doing it's thing, the 12 weeks scan is done, the "danger zone" is passed.
Then get into Tri 3 and dealing not so much with symptoms (although morning sickness can make another appearance), but generally with being much less able to do stuff purely due to the beach ball attached to your front.

We're headed for the "blooming" stage... Yippee!! :pompom:

Ooh I'm looking forward to the 'blooming' stage. I can't wait to have a real bump. At the moment's it's all bloat. My mum said I looked about 6 months pregnant at the weekend

Claire, you must be so excited. What a wonderful Christmas surprise :) xx

I mean 2weeks today is scan day!!!! Im so excited!!!
I cannot wait for the blooming stage! I feel rough constantly!! Xxx

How long after your booking in appointments did all you ladies get your scan dates? I have my booking app next week, so excited to get the ball rolling :) Also very nervous, as I HATE needles, not looking forward to all the blood tests, but I know it's all for baby, so going to man up lol x

I had my booking appointment on Friday 28th and my scan was booked today, so 10 days. I work in the department though, so normally I would've been waiting a few more days for the letter to arrive. My midwife told me that most have their scan date within 2 weeks of the booking appointment.

:) I think that's definitely the best approach if you're not too keen on needles. Just think of who it's for and it'll hopefully seem a little easier for you xx

I had my booking in appointment on Wed. MW said the hospital would get my paperwork on Thurs morning as it wouldn't go in until Wed night.

My scan letter was on the mat when I got home on Fri. So, two days.

Booked in on the third for a scan date 20 days later.

On the plus side, it's only one needle.

That looks like a great but Kwarbee! I might just do the same!

I called the hospital direct to book my scan, my booking in is 15th dec and scan 19th...(I have a private one on 16th to) because I'm away between Xmas and ny they got me in!!

How are you all? Hope Millie is ok. X

Thanks to everyone trying to keep me positive. Just seems strange, my nausea and craving for greasy/stodgy food both just weren't there on Wed and haven't been since. They were my only proper symptoms really, never had sore boobs or excessive tiredness.
I still have a bloated tummy and visible veins on my chest, also, still going to the loo pretty often. Just so anxious. My mum told me to ring the midwife but I'd feel a bit daft and also, there's not a lot anyone can say, it's only going to be the scan that can give me proper answers.x

I feel the same crawkay
I've got to ring the hospital back on Friday to check if my scan date has been set
I have a deff feeling it's not going to be before Christmas now
My midwife hasn't even sent my details over yet and I saw her nearly two weeks ago bit annoyed : (
Just hoping that all is well in there and the placenta has just taken over and that's why the symptoms have gone
Just want to know its churning me up inside not knowing : (

Hope everyone else is ok xx
