Toni, glad to read your bleeding seems to have stopped. Being on here makes me realise how common bleeding really is in early pregnancy. Hoping everything will be absolutely fine for you.

Claire, how did your midwife appointment go? I didn't think to ask my midwife about listening to the heartbeat as I don't think it's something they routinely do at the booking appointment. I think as Boosh said, it can be a bit hit and miss when they can hear it for the first time and they don't tend to until a bit later. Hope your appointment went well.

I'm so hungry, I can't stop eating. I'm feeling sick from hunger right now and I've not stopped eating this afternoon.

My.midwife was off ill so was just a stand in one. She filled out some paperwork and did a scan request but thats its really. Said my actual midwife will be in touch in next week to arrange a home visit and go through everything else! Not overly helpfull really but...... xxxx

I have the midwife coming for a home visit/booking in appointment tomorrow and I'm running round making sure everywhere is spotless. I'm sure she won't be checking my windowsills for dust but I'm on a mission.
Excited for the appointment even though I know nothing major will be happening.

I'm hungry aaaall the time for proper stodgy, hangover type food. Trying really hard to eat well but it's hard. Also, my love of chocolate has still not returned, so much so that my advent calendar is still unopened (it's fine to have an advent calendar at 28 yes?).x

I seem to be the opposite with hunger at the moment- I just never seem to feel hungry at all. About to force myself go eat something as I know I should but just feel queasy at the thought xxx

Hi Ladies. Thank you for asking after me. I'm still here lurking waiting for my scan on Thursday. The bleeding stopped this morning and my cervix feels closed, so bled for about 2.5 days. No cramps and minimal tiny clots. I did an IC HPT this afternoon and there's a very faint line, but much fainter than the last IC I did. That combined with the fact my only real symptom, sore boobs, have disappeared, I'm assuming I've definitely miscarried, just waiting for confirmation on Thursday. Devastated I'll come back on Thursday and let you all know.

Thanks everyone, been fine all day, so looks like we're OK. Got early scan on Saturday, so not too long to wait for that confirmation. Also got my 12 week scan booked today for 2nd Jan, which means dh will be able to come too!
