❤️ December testing thread ❤️

Oh wow! Yes, that’s a lot similar to me!!! I am super encouraged to hear that you have three kids despite what they told you!!! That gives me hope. We have only had one mc two years ago this month. No other children. I have gotten rid of the plastic and changed cleaning products, etc as well as those other things, as you are saying. More recent for me though. Very recent hahaha.

I was on some medication that I stopped taking…and maybe that’s why I can’t get pregnant. I took it for six months and it worked right away to lower my levels, but I got discouraged and stopped taking it. Maybe I should retest my levels and begin taking it again hmm. I don’t remember what mine were, but I will go check and repost. :)

I don't have 3 kids. I had 3 pregnancies. Only 1 successful. :)
Fertility doc said thyroid needs to be no more than 2.5 to get pregnant.
So I contacted GP and got prescription. Rushed to pharmacy to get the tablets. Also made appointment to retest it.
But as @RainbowMama says miracles do happen! It is possible to get pregnant with higher thyroid levels, but it takes very long time.
X

I’m glad you got prescribed tablets to combat it - I was refused. I’d been TTC over four years so hopefully it won’t take you that long now you can start the thyroid medication.

How could they refuse? Did they say anything about your levels being high?
I've been TTC for 3 years and it is very hard. I did not think anything was wrong with me until I did the blood tests. X

As with my screenshot, even though the level was too high to conceive with (3.17), it was still under the upper limit (5.5). Therefore - regarded as a normal range result.

Not me back here, refreshing for an update @Unicorn
Ah, love you, I'm not going to test again today as I think it will just upset me but I promise I'll send an update on the morning! But then I'm sure I'll just be able to talk myself out of a darker line by assuming it's just because my fmu is more concentrated tomorrow for some reason :doh:xx

Maybe you could pee on it, blindfold yourself, snap a photo, upload and bam

(It was worth a try!)

I am so darn excited for the morning! You have GOT to be pregnant and that has GOT to be a legit :bfp: and when you confirm (NOT if, but WHEN) I’m going to scream! <3

Ah, thank you sweetheart, your support means the world to me
This has been a really difficult journey this time and I didn't think for one second that we might have made it! I'd even planned the day in bed to nurse my broken heart again today after needing to test to stop the progesterone but having no hope that it was actually going to be positive!
I know we've still got a difficult path ahead but I'm absolutely thrilled to have even potentially have got to this point, so have spent the day wiping away tears of joy instead :cheer:
Honestly ladies, please hang on in there and don't give up hope, the idea that I may have 3 healthy children by the end of next year, given our prognosis when we started ttc is unbelievable! If there's anything that a number of our stories show lately it's that miracles really do happen and I'm sending all my love for yours xx

Oh I see. I’m sorry I misunderstood. Loss is so hard. I’m sure you love on that one so much! <3<3 I think maybe I should recheck mine soon, especially as it had lowered, and I am making lifestyle changes, etc. anyone know if exercise helps with that? I’m not overweight, but I do hate to exercise lol…it’s probably help a lot of things, if not specifically my tsh levels lol

I love how much action is going on here! Makes it exciting!!! ;) Can’t wait until updates tomorrow and Tuesday!!!

Aw congratulations unicorn, amazing news!
We have chilled out this month, just dtd whenever we feel, I haven’t ovulated yet.
Off to Disneyland paris next week, so going to enjoy Christmas
:-)

Well hello there ladies… long time no see!!!
@RainbowMama I have some positive news.
Oh and by the way congratulations! I’ve just caught up on some of the threads! I’m so happy for you. My dream came true ;)

I finally had my bloods taken in Liverpool women’s hospital and the results are back. They are bloody amazing there! I had a consultation with one of my consultants (recurrent miscarriage unit) and she was so lovely. I actually felt as though I was being listened to, and she was actually giving me answers.

Most of the bloods came back normal but
apparently my progesterone is low, so they are going to prescribe it for me so I have it as and when I need it.

My thyroid is also low so she’s going to put me on thyroxine.

Shes also giving me aspirin to take aswell, to help with inflammation. I need to try and get my sugars down.

I could’ve cried when she just handed all this to me. I have been fighting over 2 years for all this. The hospital in wales just kept saying no. I’m so glad I stamped my feet and had a meltdown otherwise not of this would be happening.

One of the last things she said to me was…just ring me when you fall pregnant. Like she’s fully expecting it! I have hope!

Roll on 2023! Xxx

P.S what else have I missed, there’s to much to catch up on xx
