♡ October 2020 mummies ♡

Anyone having major baby brain? Today I put the milk in the oven after I made a cup of tea lol. I've done so many stupid things like that lately.

Also had a very realistic dream where I had to have a c-section in a tree house due to coronavirus haha.

Tree house :rotfl:
I’m having the weird dreams, like really weird. Some are horrible too! X

Haha @WinterWolf that's funny. I always have quite vivid and weird dreams even before being pregnant but they've stepped up now. Sometimes I just forget about them straight away on waking though. My problem is I'm so clumsy, keep dropping stuff!

I had the strangest dream last night too. I was 38 weeks pregnant and couldn't remember the last 5 months and was getting really stressed out, though someone was hiding why I couldn't remember. And was really concerned that they'd left me so long when I'm supposed to deliver around 37 weeks. Was running around jumping and crying trying to get labour going all the while knowing that I'm not allowed to labour and have to have a c-section (that last bit is true!)

Definitely baby brain and weird dreams here too. I don't usually remember the dreams for long though.

I've almost put salt into my husband's tea instead of sugar and similarly forgot to boil the water in the kettle before using it (2 separate occasions). So many other things but that's all that comes to mind.

Yep baby brain here too - big style - I’m sure I wasn’t this bad last time round!

vivid dreams too!

Ahh so far I’m the opposite! I did some really daft things last pregnancy but none so far this time...Yet!

My baby brain is something else. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if I woke up one morning and didn’t know who I was :rotfl: xx

I was bad last time too. I'm a Japanese teacher and last pregnancy I literally forgot the entire Japanese language some days

Really?? So cool! I’m learning Japanese at the moment so that I can communicate better the next time we go back :) I’m looking to start a language course at our local university when I’m on maternity leave.

@chattychar1990 Well I like to think so ;) haha. Hubby also teaches Japanese. We're planning on taking our babies to live there for a year or two when they're school aged so they can learn it too. :)

@SugaryIris How cool! Definitely do the course, it's near impossible to learn a language without people to practice with x

That’s great news PinkFlamingo :D

Winterwolf - so impressed! I would love to speak Japanese <3

Had some bleeding last night - got a swab taken and bloods today but it looks like it’s stopped now so hoping it’s just a one off! :(

Oh gosh, hope everything’s ok <3

Sorry @MrsLG - I hope everything is ok! I woke up to a teeny tiny smudge of blood on my knickers this morning but nothing since so hoping all is ok. I think I overdid it in the garden yesterday #brownfingers

Would it be usual to get sore ribs this early? I think it's more to do with working at a desk all day but my ribs are getting sore!

Nah, not unusual, everything has to move to make room for baby. Your ribcage has to get a bit wider, which can be uncomfortable.

Hope everyone is doing fine! Has anyone else got extremely itchy skin? My boobs and stomach are so itchy I've scratched them to bits in my sleep...
