(¯`·._.·(¯`·._.· October 2018 Mummies ·._.·´¯)·._.·´¯)

Just received a letter from the hospital following my screening blood tests and it says no further action and to file in my notes so I’m assuming that means I’m low risk. Such a relief as my age was a concern.

I was worried about my results as I am now considered getiatric! My results were better this time than with my first x

Me too as I’ll be 39 when I give birth. Such a relief to read “no further action required”

We just compared bump photos. 12 week bump conpared to 13 week bump, I didn’t realise it had popped so much!

I can't remember but do they normally listen to the heart beat at 16 weeks? Got my 16 werk appt next Thursday & can't remember what to expect!

Thank you for the advice everyone. :) <3

Yes it's definitely the 16 week appointment. My midwife told me to bring my husband so he could hear too. He's booked it off to come with me! :D

nice bump babywomble, i will post mine soon its huge

but it looks very babylike rather than porky belly like which is how i usually look, that plus im enjoying letting it all hang out haha

Here’s an interesting bump comparison...

14 weeks with my first:

14 weeks with this little bean:

The biggest difference I see is that I’m definitely fatter than I was!

Loving all these bump pics ladies! Mine is really rubbish in comparrison, everyone keeps looking at me like I'm a crazy lady when I tell them I'm 12 weeks pregnant and then they ask me where my bump is/pass some sort of comment about how big they were when they were 12 weeks...it's actually getting really annoying - I just want it to appear properly now!

12+1 today, can't wait to join you all in tri 2 soon! Can my EDD please be changed to 23rd Oct? x

Done kj1! :)

And I think you have a beautiful bump. It looks like a bump with you stretching in that pic so it will definitely look like one with you relaxing. :D

KJ yours is looking bigger than mine and I'm 13+5! It a lovely bump, as are the rest of yours :) Will get a photo tonight, haven't taken one for a week x

At the mo I just look fatter (cause I am :s) rather than having a proper bump. I do get a bump shaped belly on an evening, but it seems to just be bloat as it comes and goes

I haven't been taking bump pics, which I kinda regret now (at least yo have evidence that I was slim once!). Maybe I'll start from tomorrow - which is officially 12 weeks for me

Lots of lovely bump pics I just feel like I’ve got fat but I think it looks pretty bump like when I see if from a different angle in pictures. IMG_0533.JPG

CornishGirl, sorry to hear about your colleague. I can only echo what others have said, just try and be as normal as you can around her. It’s something that everyone deals with so differently, so just follow her lead.

I saw my midwife today, she really is so lovely and reassuring. She offered to listen in to baby on the understanding that I wouldn’t freak out if she couldn’t find it, as it’s still so early. Well she found a lovely strong heartbeat almost straight away :) :) so, so happy. I had Oscar, my little boy with me and he was beaming bless him. He asked me to record it for Daddy and his sister to listen to, which Daddy was obviously very pleased about. Makes it all seems so real when you hear a proper little heartbeat.
Xxx

Omg ladies. I need some sympathy. :wall2:

My husband took today off to work on our project van. I’ve returned with my son from nursery to find he’s stripped the van down completely so chairs and everything out. As I walk up to him he says ‘you won’t get the push chair in the house so just leave it outside and I’ll look after it!’.

WHAT? Why can’t I get it in the house.

Well I didn’t say anything and carried our toddler in to find the van seats strewn across the front room. I look out and ask if they are safe to play around as there is no where else the toddler can go while I cook tea.

‘No!’ he says!

I asked him how I was going to do tea and he says, ‘I’ll only be an hour!’.

AN HOUR? It’s 6pm and we take little one to bed at 7pm.

I have no words. :wall2:

Anyway I struggle taking our toddler in, somehow manage to make just him something quick and even managed to empty the dishwasher. I’m now sat, with no tea myself, waiting for my toddler to finish. I guess it looks like I’m doing bedtime alone with no tea. :(

I’m not going to say anything as it will cause an argument but I can sure as hell rant on here! :x

Oh CG, men have no concept of time and how long things take. I bet he says he will be an hour and it’ll take 2, never mind the fact that he is oblivious to the fact he has set you right out of a routine! They can be so frustrating but I honestly think at times that they have no clue what impact they are having.
Deep breaths, get the wee one to bed and hopefully there is something nice and quick you can make for your tea, I’m actually fancying cheesy beans on toast tonight which I would never have for dinner. It’s a good quick thing to make if you like it? x

Ok here is the bump, looking more bump-like than I thought but I want it to be so much bigger! Come on little one, stop hiding from mummy!

Got home to a letter from hospital, 20 week scan (and cervix length, bleugh) on 24th May!!!

That’s definitely a bump Lyndsey! :) <3

And I agree. Men are clueless sometimes. Grrrr
Reckon I can convince him to go out and get chips to apologise?

Wow loads happening today!

My boobs are normally so tiny so looking forward to them getting bigger again Definitely one of the perks of pregnancy for me! Hope the pain eases up soon for those of you suffering.

Aww CornishGirl I agree with the others that it’s lovely you’re being so sensitive about the situation at work. After my miscarriage I did find it hard being around baby chat etc but I think that’s just part of the process and I wouldn’t have wanted to take away from anybody else’s excitement. Poor lady, can’t imagine how extremely difficult it must be to have multiple. Really hope things change for her soon.

Yay for your good news BabyWomble, Sev and Jenni! So magical hearing the heartbeat. And loving all the bump pics :-) I’m definitely showing more than when I was pregnant with my little girl. I put on 5 stone last time so hoping for a little less than that this time xxx

CornishGirl definitely make him go and get chips! Xxx

Had my scan today and they've put me back 3 days! So I'm now due 25th October. So I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow officially. My boobs have grown loads and I've had to buy new bras!! I only bought 2 as I'm sure they'll grow again!! My bump comes and goes in waves. It depends on what time of day it is to be honest!!

I can never figure out how to post pictures on here, otherwise I would do!!x
