~***September Mummies***~

You're definitely going to beat me haylian!! A whole heap of nothing yesterday and last night. Period pains were mild in the day then non existent at night except trapped wind :-/
That stupid mw spoilt your day! My BP would have rocketed too!! Grrr!!

Meanwhile have my sweep at 12pm... If she can reach my cervix, cause I bloody can't! Could be disappointing I think....

Xx

Oh no Hayley what a nightmare day! I would be so angry with the mw for keeping you waiting like that. Hopefully today will be better for you.

Great news about Thomas coming home Kim :-) will you be going to see him again soon?

Bex I hope your sweep goes well. I can't reach my cervix at all either, I think it's disappeared lol! Hopefully you'll get a mw with long fingers!

I had a slightly better nights sleep last night so going to tidy the house today, maybe go for a walk and do lots of ball bouncing! What's everyone else got planned?

Xxx

Thanks Ammdaz.
Meant to say Kim, that's brilliant about Thomas, they've had to wait so long to bring him home, great news.

In other news I just went old skool and got my Doppler out. Lovely heartbeat. Then realised it was exactly 31 weeks ago I first heard it. :-D
Amazing.

xx

I think you'll have one of those surprise labours Bex, out of the blue and nice and speedy :)

I had an awful nights sleep, up every hour for the toilet and then couldn't get back to sleep and feel sick as a dog today! Can't even stay in bed cause having the bed delivered between 7.30-11.30.

How lovely that Thomas is home! You'll be able to introduce your bundle to him very soon I'm sure :) xx

of course you all realise that every one of you that beats me I will hate forever :-)

joke.....probably :-)

Haha oh the pressure! You'll go any minute I'm sure of it

I was up every hour for a wee last night as well... getting on my nerves.

Don't hate us Bex lol pretty sure i won't before u.

I am really craving a bacon butty for breakfast

So excited it's all our turns soon xx

Ahhh Hayley what a nightmare :-( stupid midwife! Sounds like she couldn't really be arsed! Never mind though, sorted (sort of) now, and you got to find out you were having mild contractions - bonus right??

Happy due date Bex! I'm another that apparently has no cervix. For as long as I've known it's there (probably 9 months now) I've never not been able to "find it" (though haven't looked for the last 7 months...!). I'm starting to think signs are bad - when you look at how many people have "signs" and then it all gets drawn out - its gonna be totally opposite for you though Hayley ;-)

I get my exam results at 12 today - I'm in such a stress. I had a major melt down last night, hysterical tears like I've not cried in a long long time. We're totally broke because of the car, the cat STILL has his head tilt (but is feeling more than 100% cuz he's being a shit head) and the added stress of a text saying "you failed" again which my husband didn't even remember was happening today! Arse! I've only told him 3 times...

Hopefully wont be long till we see Thomas again, but due to the distance it won't be until ours is here. They had said they'd travel and see us as they'll have had more time with Thomas to get used to having a baby etc, but then with our animals (2 cats and a dog) the animal hair might not be good for his lungs. We'll have to wait and see what happens I suppose!

Yeah it was nice to know that the random pains I'm getting might actually be something, and to be honest I quite enjoyed being on the trace, was relaxing to sit and listen to baby's heartbeat for an hour in a big comfy chair :-) could've snoozed.

I'm sure you will have passed Kim, got my fingers crossed for you big time.

And I also think I'll be having all these signs only to go over by 2 weeks, they've been happening for over 2 weeks now and I'm just not getting my hopes up about it cause I'll just be gutted if I get to due date and still have no baby, trying to tell myself I have 3 weeks left just so I'm not disappointed....... I still will be though haha xx

Ahh good luck for your results kim and for your sweep Bex! Exciting day, will have my fingers crossed for both of you!

I can't find my cervix either, midwives must have super long fingers or we all are no where near having babies hah. I suppose it can drop really quickly at any time but its still frustrating!!

I slept better last night but was wide awake at 5am. Got frustrated by 6 so got up and took the dog out for a walk/waddle. My hips were killing but walking seems to help loosen them up a little. Back to bed at 7 for another few hours sleep and ill probs have a nap later, crazy sleep pattern!

Morning Ladies!

Please excuse if I forget something - you know babybrain by now! Also that it is soooo long. :eh:

Haylian, still sounds exciting - just wondering if Umbongo is really going to eat her placenta...............you just never know!

Tigger - ohhhhh, god am I stalking here today between a sweep with Umbongo and your test results. FX!!! PMA hun!!! That is also great news that Thomas is where he should be - HOME! :-)

Talking of signs, I dont think so BUT have had a very interesting day yesterday, night last night and today so far. Wed night I was very hormonal and uncomfortable, all day yesterday felt terrible (sick, teary, exhausted, some cool bh's, heavy legs like flu was coming on and couldnt eat - never good with me!). Last night for a couple of hours I was up pacing the living room with some definate cramps that came and went. Definately not the normal stuff that I have had up till now as they were loooooowww down. Had a couple of hours sleep but they are still coming and going. Back is sore and still getting this funny pain but feel a bit brighter today. Bloody hope this is not it for then 2-4 weeks............

Just a question too - how do you know if your waters are "trickling"?

Thanks ladies and good luck Tigger & Umbongo today!! XXXX

ooooh the bets are on now...sounds like 5element is in the latent phase! contractions and tickling waters? hello!

Good luck with the results today Kim. xxx

noooooo, defo not! just waiting on my mw calling back to get her opinion on it. But it is FAR to early and most people go over - this is going to be me! FAT CHANCE that I have started hahahahaha!! YOUR FIRST UMBONGO!!!! (or Haylian!?) XXX

Haha I think we're all so desperate for someone to go into labour everything's a sign :-) that does sound promising for you tho 5Element you must let us know what the mw says.

What time is your sweep Bex? And how do you all know so much about your cervix?? I don't even know what to feel for or where to start. I can barely wipe my foof when I've been for a wee never mind anything else haha.

Xx

Ooh 5element that sounds rather promising! Wasn't your little man measuring quite big at your scans? So maybe he is ready to come a bit early!

Good luck with the results Kim! I've got my fingers crossed for you.

I am having no signs whatsoever today, grr! Come on baby, mummy is ready for you!

Xxx

I feel sick and have a dodgy "exam results imminent" tummy :-( I just want a giant chocolate bar, no clock/phone/computer so I have no idea!!! Cracked my laptop screen last night too which I'm gutted about!! :-(

I want a proper September mummy labour thread please 5element!!! Get a move on!!! (And, good luck!)

MrsN had her twins yesterday :-) she always knew she'd be an August mummy anyway and I've not seen her update in a while so thought I'd add it in here x

Dont get excited girls. I am SURE its nothing but MW has said she would like to pop by and test whether it is water or not (she has some sort of stick thing that turns blue when it is fluid and not discharge). I feel a bit silly coz I know it is nothing but she wants to be sure. Will keep you updated ladies! XXX

Ah yes I saw that on Facebook, excellent sizes for twins too :-)

My bed isn't being delivered again!!! I'm so angry, woman said they probably couldn't fit it on the van...... What?? Why book for delivery then?? It's now scheduled for tomorrow but I'm starting to think I'll never get it! X

Ooh sounds exciting :-) I bet it is your waters and you're in denial x
