***September 2018 Testing Thread***

So I am in a funny position atm. I am currently CD7, AF finished yesterday. I am hoping to ovulate in the next few days. OH wants to wait one more cycle which means I could test as early as 29th Sept (which I have put as my test date in this group). However, I keep switching between thinking we are going to wait a cycle and trying to get him to jump me and without protection this cycle if that were the case and the timing was right I could be looking at testing in the first couple of days of September. Anyone ever been in this position? haha. He is adamant we won't TTC this cycle but I know his willpower is less strong in the bedroom...

My OH said he didn’t want to try last cycle, I felt like killing him! But I just said ok then fair enough and acted like I had forgotten about it then he iniatated a quickie one morning a few days before ovulation and I got my bfp out of it! Even if you can get one or two BDs out of him at least it’s something!

We thought we were out this month after my mid cycle bleed, so we both kinda ruled out this cycle until i got a strong positive on an opk and thought hmmm i am being a quitter here for no reason, so the oh knew it just had to be done and my hat goes off to him as it was during the heatwave as well so it was not comfortable for him at all - but i did make sure the fan was strategically placed never bothered with how hot or comfortable he was before ttc, funny what this whole journey does to you

and I said I am CD6 but I am already feeling wet like getting ready to ovulate. I am definitively going to jump on him tomorrow and than every other day. I never ever felt like this on CD6 before. I might even ovulate on CD10 which is not unusual for my cycles. I really want to get the sex over so I can count the day to my testing day.

I’m on CD11 today.
POAS since CD7 and still getting negatives on the OPKs. Going to do another one at 2pm today. My Ovia app is telling my my fertile window starts tomorrow but I’m guessing that’s not correct.
Can someone please just confirm will my temp go up or down when I am ovulating??
I am so determined to make this cycle my :BFP:
We have done the DTD every other day since CD6.

Just before you ovulate you may experience a slight dip but then you should get a bit of a jump and raised temperatures for 3 days in a row at least to confirm ovulation.

Your fertile window will start a few days before ovulation (mine starts on Thursday, not expecting to ovulate until Monday) on Ovia so keep DTD and testing.

I’m CD6 as well Vintageling. Still bleeding though so no fun for me for a couple of days.
My periods start off slow and don’t turn into an episode of casualty till about day 4 and that’s when my temperature drops too. However, they usually stop pretty abruptly too so I should be good to go by CD 8. Unlikely to ovulate till about day 17 then about an 11 day luteal phase before I get the tell tale brown tinged CM that means AF is soon to visit. Sorry, that’s probably TMI!
