Thats really annoying elven.id chase that if i were you.they should see you around 8-10 weeks. Not long to wait for scan.hope it goes well and you get a good pic to post. I have mine monday. Im sooo tired this week and a bit bloated today but other than that not too bad thanks.hope things settle down for you....i know feb and march are going to be busy for me but i guess on a positive note theyll whizz by. Tri 2 is a little further off for me....5 or even 6 weeks yet x

Hiya EM. My lmp was 13/12. My cycle since mmc has varied from 23 to 33 days but was always 25 days prior to mmc in sept. Eating is fine. I get ever so slightly queasy if i havent eaten. I get some bloating during evening and have mildly sore boobs. Overall i cant complain! How are you feeling? X

The midwife said she would ring back by the end of this week, just a shame as it's a two week wait. Hopefully she can squeeze me in somewhere!

Yes I’ve had my midwife appointment and had to have an early scan to date my little blessing, I was recently diagnosed with PCOS so she wasn’t sure how far along I was as I don’t normally have an AF. I’m so excited, I didn’t think I would be able to have anymore children so those lines coming up completely shocked me, then I saw little one on the screen at the scan with a strong heartbeat and it just made it so much more real.
It’s my 5th pregnancy, I have 3 children (my little miracles) and I Miscarried in 2011.
What about yourself? Is this your first baby? Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months too xx

When.did you have your scan? I have mine mon 5th and paid for this as cant get hold of our epau. Had mmc in sept but have two other beautiful kids 12 and 10 so this will be a big age gap. Im 42 so will be classed as higher risk i think but fit and healthy so hopefully everything will progress normally. Hope youre feeling ok? X

I had my scan yesterday after booking in with the midwife on Friday. She called and booked it while I was there. Oh no, so sorry to hear that you had a MMC. I’m 24 and there’s a big 5 year age gap between my 1st and my second and 17 months between my 2nd and my 3rd. I’m sure your fit and healthy - they may just monitor you abit more which on the plus side means you will get to see your little one more too
I’m not feeling too bad at the moment, just constantly feeling nauseous and have a very small appetite - everything that I smell cooking makes me feel like throwing up. How are you feeling? X

Very tired and a bit constipated but fine other than that. Didnt get morm sickness with first two or begore mmc so hoping to get away with it again! Really feel for those suffering with it. Sounds horrendous. Did you get see see heartbeat and how far gone did they say you were? X

Constipation is a horror in itself! I’m with you with the tiredness, I don’t remember ever feeling this tired at all with any of my other babies. Morning sickness has hit harder over the past few days. I wake up feeling sick, smell food and feel sick, eat and it comes straight back up. I actually threw up 4 times just brushing my teeth this morning. I had HG with my first so it’s looking like it’s back again. Hopefully you have a nice get away from morning sickness then. Yes I did get to see the heartbeat - lovely and strong. They said by baby’s measurements I was 8+4 - I’m 8+6 now xx

I got my results this morning, 182 so definitely pregnant!! I spoke to the doctors this morning, but can’t get another appointment until 19th feb, I have to book in with them before referring me to midwife for booking in and eventually a scan. I’ll be 9 weeks by then, seems so far away! I think I’ll just see if I can get a private scan at a good price somewhere, if I book it then OH can’t argue too much haha.

Hope you’re all doing ok and not suffering too much with all the lovely symptoms. Xxx

Hi, does your Hospital have an early pregnancy assessment unit? If so call them up and explain about your previous MMC they may see you, it’s worth a phone call and if they say yes then you can see your little beauty and have some reassurance. My midwife referred me at my booking appointment because I had a previous MC myself along with PCOS so we didn’t know my dates at all as I don’t have an AF. X

I assume so....we’ve just moved to the area so I have no idea how it all works round here or even which is our closet hospital as there are a few locally. I was hoping to ask all these questions at my doctors appointment, just so frustrating that it’s so far away. I’ve got to go in tomorrow to pick up a prescription so might ask if they have any sooner appointments.

Sorry to hear about your mc, it certainly makes an already stressful time that little bit harder. Xxx

How far gone are you at the moment? Have you got an appointment for you booking in appt yet? You can call them yourself at the EPAU I think if you have any worries or concerns. X

I’m around 6 weeks. I won’t get my booking apt until I’ve seen the doctor, three weeks just seems so long to wait. I feel a bit lost not having any contact with anyone, especially being so new to the area and not knowing how things work, where the closest epau is and if I can self refer or need doctors referral. Our doctors receptionists aren’t too helpful either so I’ll ive got is google!! Xxx

3 weeks? Wow, you’re a lot more patient than me lol. I wouldn’t be able to wait that long. It must be hard being in a new place and not knowing the area, I feel for you. Hopefully they will see you sooner and get the ball rolling. The receptionists rarely are helpful these days. Xx

Jenni I had a scan at 6wks last time and they could see sac but too early to heart beat. I had another scan at 8weeks and it was much more reassuring. We saw the heart beat and from memory it was more baby shape and less blob. This time I had one at 7+1 and saw a blob and heart beat. If u can hold off you see more the longer u can leave it. I'd say a private place will fit u in quickly.

My symptoms are so different this time from my LO and chemical. It's easy to worry about everything.

My advice (from learning the hard way) would be to stop doing tests. I did one at 6weeks and it was lighter than at 4weeks. I panicked. Watered down sample a bit and it was slightly darker but not as dark as it was. Wish I hadn't done test as it totally stressed me out!

I had a rubbish sleep last night between the ridiculously vivid dreams and the two kids waking up, so feeling knackered already this morning. I’ve got a day of cleaning planned before my family come and visit this weekend, I’d rather sleep lol. On the plus side, being awake at 2am meant I managed to go online and get a doctors appointment for Monday instead so relieved I’ll finally be able to voice my concerns to somebody other than my poor OH. I’ve been getting the odd sharp stabbing pain low down on the right, its only there for a split second but takes my breath away. I’m sure it’s probably just all the stretching and changes that are going on and nothing to worry about, but I’ll keep an eye on it. Everything makes you panic though doesn’t it. Xxx

Glad you got appt for monday jenni. The pain your having does sound like everything stretching but would be good to get reassurance nevertheless! Ive not slept well this week either due to dry mouth overnight. Had a horrie dream that id had another mmc night before last too! Hoping these are all common symptoms. Bit feeling slightly nauseous too this week but can manage it fine as not too bad.

How is everyone else? Most of us should be in the 2nd half of tri 1 now so not long to go ladies before we move over.eeek exciting! Good luck to all having early scans over next few days . Remember to post your scan pics x

Feeling really emotional this week. My symptoms seem to come in waves, my boobs hurt so much at night when I lay down and I’ve got an almost constant mild nausea but there’s times of the day that I feel nothing at all, my hugely bloated belly is the only thing that’s giving me peace of mind I think. Still have 2 weeks before I even see my midwife and then it will be another month before I get my scan date. Everything seems to be dragging this time around and it’s making me anxious that I’ve not even seen anyone yet. I really want an early scan but the prices in my area are ridiculous (£79 for a 10 minute appointment early reassurance scan)
Im still quite ill with a cough and a runny nose which is making me more nervous. I’m exhausted from being ill, working and running around after my 2 year old. I just want an evening to relax but my OH has invited friends over tomorrow evening

Not feeling the best this morning either, didn’t get much sleep as my two little ones were unsettled with chest infections and I've woken up with a horrid cold. Ohh good luck with getting all your cleaning done.. cleaning isn’t my friend lately, I clean and my back starts aching like I’m in tri 3 so have to have a little sit down - sciatica is making an early comeback and settling in my hips. Well done with getting an appt so much earlier, hopefully your doctor can put a few of your concerns to rest the sharp pains aren’t nice, I keep getting them in my left side.. I mentioned to the midwife and she said it’s nothing to worry about, just everything stretching and moving up and around. I agree, pregnancy is full of worries and panic. Not far to tri 2 now though xx

Morning! Apart from having had a bad cold/cough the last few days I feel great...which I don't know if I like haha I still get bloating on a night time but not as much as I was last week, my boobs are a tiny bit sore to touch and I'm waking up around 2am every night and struggle to get back to sleep. I hope the lack of symptoms isn't necessary a bad thing. Off on holiday tomorrow so hoping it's all plain sailing while I'm away then I have my midwife appointment on the 12th the day after I get home Hope everyone is feeling ok today...by the sounds of it some of you aren't feeling too good! xx

It’s so strange! It doesn’t make me gag I just feel sick instantly! I think it’s the toothpaste! I’m going to try a different one tonight! Oh boo I hope you stop soon!!
