Best of using the date of you last menstral period as that is what midwives go by. 3 valleys, lovely. Not skied there but heard its great. You might be lucky and get away with morning sickness fingers crossed x

So that would make me 4+2 as the first day of my last period was 17/12/17? Yeah I went when I was younger and it's gorgeous....Hubby has been looking forward to it for the last year so hopefully I can avoid sickness haha xxx

Just booked early private scan for monday at 6.40pm. Feel nervous now x

You have to be 6 weeks at the scan. So i will be 6+2 on Monday. Its £39 and you get x2 photos. It varies hugelt between areas but if you google early reassurance scan and your area a list will come up x

YAY!! Congratulations! Is this your first? I'm also very early on but I rang the doctors who advised me to call and collect a form to send to the midwife so I'm sending that today and then she will call me to make a booking in appointment (I think it's different in different areas of the country) xxx

No my second, first one is now five years old lol. Congrats to you too! I have phoned the doctors who said a midwife will be in touch by the time I'm 10 weeks... Seems a bit late??!! Started taking folic acid too, did you still test everyday? I have like 3 spare pregnancy tests that I hate to waste lol xx

Thank you Well I found out on Friday night, did another 3 tests on Saturday morning and then another last night which was a lot stronger! AF was only due today so I tested pretty early, going off my last period I will only be 4+2 today. I think I have 3 spare tests at home too so no doubt will be using them...it's just reassuring to see that line! Yeah I feel like it's pretty late too...I'm waiting for the call to arrange the appointment and was told it will be around 8-10 weeks...hopefully the sooner! I was taking folic acid from November when we started trying....no harm eh! How you feeling? What symptoms do you have if any? xxx

Congratulations EM! Thats great news! Yes i yhink weve all done multiple tests too! Doing my last digi tom in the hope i get 3+. Ive been told to take folic acid and vit D....i think this is pretty standard now do you might want to think about taking that too. Exciting to see the sept group expanding.....wont be long till our tummies are haha! X

Awe thank you for welcoming me in, makes it seem all the more real. I have this horrible feeling that if I use up the rest of my tests they're not going to show anything! Stupid I know but I might as well use em up while they're here. I reckon I'm only about 4 weeks, won't know for sure until the midwife is that correct? I'm dying to just scream it from the rooftops lol! Anyone got other children too they have to tell? Just wondering when and how to do this. Xxx

Midwife will confirm your dates but they base this on you LMP so you could work it out on an online pregnancy due date calculator if you know your LMP. We all feeling anxious about line progression but try and do them every couple of days as hcg doubles every 48 hours. Also if you test in the pm or after lots of fluids, your line might not lighter so dont worry. I have two children (12 and 10) and im 42 so this is a lovely surprise addition for my DH to be expecting our 3rd child together. Had a mmc in sept, so really hoping this is our rainbow. Have early scan monday so hoping to see heartbeat x

Forgot to say, im so glad i didnt tell kids last time as it resulted in mmc. We plan to tell them around 12 weeks or if results from harmony test (10-11 weeks) come back ok x

I literally can't wait to get a bump! My mam told me I used to push my tummy out when I was little and pretend there was a baby in there...I can't wait to be a Mammy myself! Kind of want these next few weeks to fly over so I know everything is ok and hopefully feel a little less anxious.

I've been getting a few cramps and a dull ache in my stomach and still feeling quite gassy (more like swishing about and funny noises than actually pumping!) xxx

How exciting! Your first! Ive only really had a bit of bloating in the evenings and my boobs feel a little fuller. Reckon 6 weeks will be when the symptoms start to kick in! X

Hi, 5weeks today! Feeling ok though very tired. Boobs still much bigger and test this morning was almost as dark as control line really hoping everything is ok. Getting bloods taken on Thursday& wondering if I could get them to check progestrone. Anyone ever had theirs tested?

That's mad, how different prices can be, the cheapest I can find in our area is £55. Not that yours is half the price, but still! I bet you must be excited though, that will be so lovely.
