I got my scan today and they put me back 4 days so 11 + 3 which makes me due October 1st. I've joined the October thread but will continue keeping in touch with everyone here if y'all don't mind as I will probably have bubba in September if it's anything like my first pregnancy
Scan was amazing, baby kept moving and they even did a 4D scan. I will share photos once I'm connected to wifi

Definitely still keep in touch. I was moved to August but couldn't bring myself to leave the September thread. Was your first much earlier than expected?

Got my anomaly scan booked for the first week of April, which feels like ages away but I know it will come around so fast!

Currently wishing I was back in the first trimester though, as it honestly was much better than the second so far. Been having a migraine all week and BH contractions today as well, so really hope next week is better. Fingers crossed!

Honestly I've no idea. I thought I was due august 1st and they changed it to august 21st then to august 10th. My daughter was born end of july so I just know she Def came before he due date. I did have lots of bleeding, low baby, preterm labor scare, so it could all be different! I'll definitely stay here and check in with October mummies lol.

So exciting about your 20 week scan!! It will fly by. Mine isn't until may 21st which feels like a lifetime away.

I've had a tiny bump for 3-4 weeks, but could easily have passed for someone who just ate too much. This week it's got loads bigger though, had to buy new work clothes because I couldn't breath in my old ones haha.
Yours will probably randomly double in size overnight, but I know what you mean, quite exciting to actually have something more noticeable. x

I felt a kick yesterday evening. Been having lots of flutters but this was very noticeably a tiny kick, can't wait to feel more. That is until it keeps me awake all night!

How is everyone today? Hopefully not getting too much snow (again) where you are!

Hi everyone. I'm posting this in the tri 2 thread even though i'm still technically tri 1. Had my NT scan today and all came back as low risk. The twins have gone back to being fraternal now (there was a few weeks that they thought they might be identical but in different sacs).
My symptoms are on and off but when they're on it's tough!

Am I right in thinking fraternal twins aren’t lower risk than identical?

OH still keeps reminding me that he thinks ours could end up being twins - he thinks he saw a second blob when we had our early scan, but didn’t think to tell me until we got home and couldn’t ask the sonographer! I guess we’ll find out tomorrow at our scan!!

I’ve been sooo tired the last few weeks, it’s making me really grumpy and emotional. The joys of pregnancy hey.

Anyone else starting to show? Definitely not just bloat anymore, it’s getting quite firm. I’m going to end up huuuge at this rate. Xxx

Ello lovelies! Still hanging in there, had our wonderful scan last Weds, everything looks good We got to have two long ole scans because babycakes DID NOT want to play ball - they were upside down from the get go, no amount of sonographer tricks, wiggles or me laying in different positions helped, so we had to wait another 10mins with me walking and jiggling around the (full) waiting room to coax them to move in to position, hahaha! They finally got in a good position, and did get put back two days. What's two days really? Funnily enough the quality was much better upside down than lying down, I figure they decided to the back of my pelvis after being forced to move ha.

Our friends properly came through for us and had both the girls, whilst the OH got the morning out of office, so we got to see the little on together Then another friend came and got me, when I was done with bloods etc. How freaking wonderful. Now I feel awful for going in my hole when I felt poorly!

Bloods + scan = Low risk, but someones got to be that person in the thousands, right.

I don't feel too bad today, but yesterday I was sick all day and even at night time. Hopefully turn a corner soon, if not today.

How is everyone else doing? 2nd Tri already!

I have the consultant in two weeks time, which I'm not looking forward to, but other than that, things are okay.

That's a lovely bump! x Might just be the way you're carrying, I suppose? I have one which is quite noticeable, people who don't know do give me funny looks which is quite amusing, but I do love my bump.

I'm glad you had a great scan, even if it took some work to get to there! x Shame about the sickness, hopefully that will slowly disappear now. Hope you didn't hurt yourself too much on the stairs either!

I'm good, thank you. 17.5 weeks now which seem insane, feeling tiny kicks occasionally which is surreal, but loving it all so far!

Hi everyone, sorry I've been AWOL for a while! Just needed to get through my 12 week scan to try and settle my anxiety, yeah right, ha, still anxious now! I am so thankful and pleased to say my scan went well. I'm currently 13+4 with edd of 23/09. Still finding this very surreal after 3 losses so still taking it day by day! I hope everyone is ok. X x

Hi everyone, hope you’re all ok! I was due to have my anomaly scan on the 12th April but I’ve just received a letter calling me to jury summons starting on the 9th and lasting for 2 weeks. Boo! I called the hospital but they’re fully booked now for weeks so it’s unlikely I will get in anytime soon! So, decided to pay privately just to find out what we are having! Roll on the 5th April! I’m so excited I really can’t wait to find out xx

Your appointment would be reason enough for you to either be excused or accommodated for that day so you will not miss your scan. Just make sure you tell them at first opportunity when you have to show id etc on first day of jury duty.

The anomaly scan is the single most important scan/appointment of the pregnancy, just summons can wait. Just get in touch and explain, they will simply remove you from those dates and put you in again some time in the future.

Please don't miss the NHS scan, even if you are going private to find out gender. I've just had two anomaly scans as they couldn't get all they needed at the first. It's definitely more important than jury duty xx
