*******~~~October Mummies~~~*******

How exciting that baby might come soon :D I just had my first NHS ante natal class and it was 2 hours on a rock hard school type chair and felt dizzy and uncomfy by the end of it :( you'd think they would give pregnant women like bean bags or something, it's made me already dread next weeks! Xxx

Oooooo Gemsy, I hope you don't have to wait long. Any other signs? Loss of some plug maybe? What've they said about your BP now?

I've got to that point where anything I do is punctuated by me huffing or going oooooof. I'm not quite 35 weeks and have reached the I've had enough now turning point. The end seems really close and really far away at the same time.

I'm on my last week at work and it feels all weird, like I'm already not part of the team. It'll be a relief to finish though because sitting on my butt all day is getting painful. I do so much better just pottering at home and getting stuff ready. I'm hoping to get one or two visits to the Trafford centre in before I get too much bigger

I had a growth scan today. I'm actually 34 +5. I knew baby was going to be big. He's estimated at 7lb 11 already :faint:. Considering I would prefer VBAC I'm quite nervous about his size. Also spoke to the consultant and we agreed a plan of action. Considering his size I'll go to 40 weeks in the hope labour starts naturally and I can try for my VBAC. If I get to 40 weeks and no signs I'll be booked for a planned c section. The risk in leaving longer is as his size increases and there's more potential for his shoulders to get stuck due to my weight and previous c section. In the event that my BP goes wrong or there's a reason why baby has to come early then it's planned c section again. I have said that I won't have an induction again after the last experience which went on for days and resulted in the emergency c section.

Phew, think that's all my news.

They'll give me immunoglobulin, basically an immunisation. However the blood nurse thought it'd be Tuesday before the results get back so Im going to ask a MW tomorrow because it seems like a long time to wait.

I don't think I ever said, I have antibodies so all good. I'm just waiting for DS1 to fully crust over *boke* and then he can go back to nursery.

No loss of plug, but my discharge has changed. These pains are just really grumbling on. I had to get out of bed the other night and bounce on my ball it was the only thing that helped. Who knows, maybe I am just making a fuss, but I had a tightening when the midwife was examining me, and she was very surprised at how strong it was, so maybe I am not such a wimp after all!

BP - I have to go back on Friday to be checked again, unless any pre eclampsia symptoms, in which case I must go straight in!

That sounds like a good plan for you Ninja kitty, and always a relief to have a plan in place! Glad to hear about the pox too! :)

I felt the same after my all day class sat on a hard chair!!! Thought I was going to pass out! Don't know why they didn't plan it so we were moving round more or had more comfy chairs!

Definitely at the point wherei just want this to end now and not be pregnant anymore! Xx

Morning!! I had my 35 week scan yesterday and twin b has caught up with her sister growth wise so they are no longer concerned about needing to deliver early, phewww! So I've to go back for another scan in 2 weeks time to check they are still in breech position (naughty babies) at which time my c section will get booked, eeek!!

Hope everyone is keeping well xxx

Sweetiepie, that's great news! And 35 weeks is great going for twins anyway isn't it?

I slept fitfully last night, baby is really active this morning, and I am so uncomfortable (feel crazy moaning about this when you must be REALLY uncomfy sweetiepie!). Having so many twinges. Dtd this morning in an effort to bring something on - I've told OH he is on shagging duty now until this baby arrives!

Ah glad all is going well, hope your naughty babies turn for you! But having a set date will be exciting too if they don't!

I've had 34 week MW appointment today (almost 35 weeks) all good and baby head down and heard heartbeat which was lovely :) xxx

Hahaha, you are very lucky - my OH isn't in the least bit interested - he is too concerned he might hurt "his girls". Im like 'how big do you think you actually are!' Haha, hope sexy time works for you.

Yeah 35 weeks is good for twins and I don't feel like they are in any hurry to come to be honest. Having period cramps again today but nothing compared to last week! I have very active babies today too, kicking the heck out of me but OH and I were talking last night and we are both really gonna my miss bump we think! Awww xxx

Must be a day for active babies. I feel like I'm getting beat up too. I seem to have just got uncomfy overnight. Had pains in my pelvis when turning over in bed and sore back and bum when walking...might get a waddle soon. Was out shopping yesterday with my mum and had so many comments from strangers saying that they didn't think I'd get to due date. Part of me hopes they're right but as hubby isn't due home until 6th Oct I'm hopping for just a couple of days early :) anyone else getting a crazy amount of pressure down below now?x

The pressure is not too bad for me, although I can feel baby is right there - its more like a head between my legs feeling, rather than pressure. I don't know if it is something to do with my horse riding though, and maybe I have a very strong pelvic floor so I don't feel the pressure so much? Who knows....my anatomy knowledge is not up to much!

It feels like baby's head is bouncing up and down on my bladder :( here was me thinking I'd be getting out to cut the grass today but that feels like a step too far lol. Have MW appt tomorrow so will be interesting to see if the baby is anymore engaged. Also hoping for no protein in my urine this time x

Fab news on twin B Sweetiepie. Exciting times ahead.

So my Tapatalk broke a few days back after an update. I've had to reset my Pw to get back on grrrrrrr. I'm so far behind now on all the news. How dare you carry on without me

Anyway, I've had my last day at work. I have 2 weeks leave and then official mat leave. I'm finally in a position to spam you guys hehe.

Yay for finishing work Ninjakitty!! I'm in to week 2 of annual leave with mat leave starting 1st Oct. still not used to being off work but loving being a lady of leisure :) x

I just have one 6 hour shift left at work on Saturday. I can't wait. My right ankle and foot has started swelling and hurting a bit the last few days. I think I have pulled a muscle or something and the pregnancy is making it worse so I really want some time when I don't need to be on my feel continually.
I feel like the side of a house at the minute. Wondering how I'll manage another 3 weeks or so. And I'm not even huge!

My last day at work today! Yay! Feels very surreal! Xx

Enjoy Chloe. I got all emotional on the drive in on my last day but was like the ice queen all day when I was there lol. Think I was so busy that I didn't have a chance to take it in. If it hadn't been for the interruptions from people to give me gifts I would have forgotten altogether :) x

I was like that Vicki I cried before I left for work then never did again a few of the ladies cried one sobbed but I was fine haha these hormones are a funny thing! Love bein a lady of leisure at mon sure novelty is gonna wear off soon tho x enjoy your last day Chloe x x x

Feels weird as I'm still quite busy! No gifts but lots of well wishes though :) am coming back in a week for an awards ceremony so feels weird saying goodbye! Lol! X

Very excited for all you lucky ladies finishing work! I am trying hard to wind down now, but as soon as I get bored at home, I'm off into the pub to do some work, I just can't help myself

Saw the MW again this morning. BP is 130/95. They are not 100% happy with the lower figure, so I am being sent for a scan next Wednesday to check cord and growth. I'm not overly worried as I am sure it is very much just a precaution, what I am concerned about is my MLU birth! :( MW said to me today, that I can go there, but they will monitor my BP during labour and if the bottom figure goes about 100, they will have to transfer me, as baby will need extra monitoring :( Their concern is that as my BP obviously wavers slightly higher, it may just rocket during labour :( I would never take unnecessary risks when it comes to mine and LO's health, but I was so desperate for the MLU birth, with the extra support and the guarantee of a birthing pool. I just do not want loads of intervention. I was also quite keen to avoid an epidural, and I know that if my BP is high they will recommend I have one to lower it. I just feel sad already about what I think it is going to turn out like, and I know that is not a very positive frame of mind to go into labour in :(
