My daughter was a meconium baby. Currently waiting to be seen at the midwife assessment unit.

Same here, they told me it was a sign baby was in distress (thought to be due to my blood pressure) but guessing it can just happen randomly too?

I walked to town. My belly ached the whole way, and I had to sit down in the town centre & it was freezing!

Gonna do the vacuuming now even though I could happily climb into bed. Then I promised LO we would put Halloween decks up. Wondering how I'm gonna cope with all this on no sleep? I'm hoping I'll just feel better in general not having a baby inside me?

For me, baby lies on the right and pushes/kicks to the left. Get so many jabs on the left side now during the whole day, and they aren't small! Xx

I've just had a curry for tea / supper. Read a lot about how it doesn't actually work but I fancied so it was worth a shot.

OH is weirded out by sex atm which is so unlike him. But that's what worked with my daughter. OR it was a coincidence. X

My bump 'dropped' a few weeks back but just now it seems to have dropped lower still. The top of my bump now feels squishy & my heartburn has eased. Dunno where the baby's hiding

Just wanted to pop in and wish all you November mummies to be all the best!! I was in your position last year and my little girl decided she wanted to be an October baby and arrived on the 29th! Can&#8217;t believe I&#8217;m planning her 1st birthday now.

How are you all doing today ladies? I've got my last Midwife appt today for a blood pressure check and then next week will be my pre-op appt with my consultant before the big day. I feel like I've got massive over the last few days - can't wait for the little lady to be here now xx

My blood pressure was up to 140/100 so I'm being admitted to day ward for monitoring & getting a plan for induction. The hospital is busy so my midwife said it's unlikely they'll induce me today, but tomorrow Sunday or Monday. X

What do they class as high blood pressure in pregnancy then? Mine was 138 over 89 when I was in on Weds.

140/90 is classed as high blood pressure in pregnancy. They worry more about the bottom number apparently.

Has your BP shot up to 138/89 or been the same throughout? X

Sorry to hear about your BP issues starchild, I had the same last pregnancy. Fingers crossed the induction goes well! Was wondering when our first baby was going to make an appearance!

I'm very ready for baby to arrive now, am pleased that I have my section booked for Tuesday, can't imagine potentially waiting another 3 weeks!

It's mostly been 120 over 60, but was slightly higher on Weds. How are you doing?

I went in & my blood pressure settled. I've been booked in for an induction on Wednesday (next available non emergency slot) and have to have my blood pressure checked daily and if it's up go to day ward again possible get induced earlier.

Midwife tried to give me a sweep but I was unfavourable. X
