I get a growth scan at 36 weeks but I've no idea how accurate they are, I didn't have one with my daughter.

What's the reason for your growth scan? I'm expecting one as my bump hasn't gotten any bigger since my last appointment.

Not accurate in my case however.

With my daughter my bump measured small so I got a growth scan, baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead, they told me to expect a big baby who was 8lb at the scan....she was born 7lb 2.

They offer it to all women in my area, a fairly new thing apparently.

My partners work are being very difficult about his paternity leave, he wants to take a week paternity and a week annual leave (so we don't lose too much money), but one of his colleagues is already on annual leave and they won't allow two people off at the same time. He have the form in on time and they know when baby is due, but are saying he can't be off at that time.

That's really unfair.

I have a weeks holiday to take before my maternity leave and I can't use it as there's someone else off for the next 3 weeks. So I'm gonna lose that.

My other half is mixing paternity with holidays as he'd be losing out on so much money. I think paternity leave really sucks. X

Yippee.....had 32 weeksl scan today and my placenta has moved out the way and is up high!!! Really pleased. Baby also measuring pretty much what my daughter did as well!!!

THe two year old has been up since 4.30am.... pretty sure it must be nap time soon!

Ooooh sounds dreadful.

We've had three nights without a nappy & 3 dry nights, so proud. She's been ready for ages but she actually said the other night can I wear my knickers all night, so I'll only have one to change through night now.

Got a midwife appointment this afternoon. 35 weeks. Have to do my strep B swab and I'm not really sure what to do lol

I have to regular blood pressure checks so it's threw off all my appointments they're at strange weeks lol

I'm 31 week and haven't had a single braxton hicks contraction, is that normal? Or maybe I've had but not felt, feel like I would feel something like that? I'm constantly feeling my stomach and I've never noticed it getting hard.

Starchild can't believe you're 35 weeks you'll be classed as full term in 2 weeks!!

I never got them with my first pregnancy. Or I never felt them... I certainly feel them this time and have done since real early on.

Who is getting flu vaccine??

The way my bump is measuring the baby is estimated to be 7lb 6oz at birth. Which I can live with! No growth scan this time.

I hadn't thought about the flu vaccine, I usually get it for free through work otherwise you have to pay for vaccines here.

I'm starting to stress about labour and tears and what not &#128553;

I don't think I've had any Brixton hicks. I've had a few moments where my belly has gone hard but thought baby was just pushing out, but maybe it was them? Who knows haha.

I'm having my flu jab at my 34 week app on the 2nd.

I personally don't believe the estimated weights on growth scans are anything to go by. I haven't had any myself, but every single person I know who has had one and been given a weight, it's been wayyy off so I just wouldn't bet on it or take it as anything to go by. But that's just me! Xx

Also, my hubs randomly said I need to start packing my hospital bag while out in the car yesterday. Strange but it made me smile because I didn't think he'd think about things like that, so it made me a little bit happy that these things sometimes cross his mind xx

I don't think I had braxton hicks with my daughter, or if i did hen I didn't realise that's what they were. Same again this time!

Baby's head is engaged! I felt like I could feel it the other day & midwife confirmed it. Although she said in 2nd pregnancies it could go in & out. X

About two weeks ago he said exercise balls were apparently on sale in b&m. I was pleasantly surprised then too and said where did that come from and he said a woman he works with, her daughter had not long had a baby and someone else said b&m had them cheap. So I thought it would be something similar chatting about at lunch, but I think he must have came up with it on his own about the bag this time! Btw I couldn't find any balls in b&m! Nevermind xx

I've been having braxton hicks! And I'm not getting the flu vaccine. I've been offered it several times by my midwife but my instinct tells me not to for some reason.

I had a growth scan last week because bump hasn't been growing for quite a while! Scan showed everything was fine and the estimated weight was nearly 5lbs. Although bump hasn't been growing, I can deffo feel that baby has been growing! I feel so so heavy now.

Also, getting VERY annoyed at people telling me how small my bump is. People I haven't seen in a while ask how long I've got left to go and act shocked that I'm nearly 33 weeks! One woman told me last month "but theres nothing there..." and last week she said "well thats not really much of a bump is it". Made me so so angry, but I just turned and walked right away because if you haven't got anything nice to say you really shouldn't say anything at all and I like to lead by example.

But I do know my bump is the perfect size for my baby

I've woken up feeling hideous today.... my bump is really achey, and just feel generally unwell! I could do with going back to bed for the day lol.... not sure the two year old will allow that though!

I've been sleeping really badly for the past few weeks. It's just scattered napping. Just ordered a Spacemask Eye Mask. I just need ONE good nights sleep and I'll be fine!
