November mummies 2017!!! Tri two.

I'm all prepared pretty much! I've got a cot and next to me crib in my grandparents house ready to be bought over in a few weeks.

We have Moses baskets & the cot from our first, just getting new mattresses & bedding. And we've a perfect prep machine, on the go steriliser & baby blender. Still need to decide on bottles, choose a pram & car seat, decide on a name, buy a baby sling, newborn clothes, hospital bag (start packing hospital bag) dummies, nappies, bedding, and probably loads I've forgotten.

I feel tired and poor just looking at that list! Lol xx

Just off to the MOAU, baby's being a tad lazy today, kicks out of pattern and midwife said to go get checked out just in case.

Ah hope all is okay, mine has on the occasion been a little lazy, but the last few days he seems to have been very energetic! Which is the total opposite of his mummy! Haha

Here's to a great big kick as soon as the Doppler is fastened on. X

Baby's all fine, had a big kick as the midwife put the doppler on!
Had a horrible feeling something was wrong, but all seems to be fine, and I'm happy that I called them up to make sure

Yey! I went a couple of times with my first and she always went nuts as soon as the Doppler went on.

Always best getting checked! Glad everything is okay :)

I used to have reduced movements with my first. Ended uo being induced in the end. Thr last time I had them I was 39+6 and they could see her moving on the machine but I wasnt feeling them!! Lil monkey!! Lol.
Glad all is ok Cati xx

I just feel like somethings not right. I'm a worrier anyway so maybe it's just me because the midwife did assure me measurements and movements were all fine

They also sent me away saying lots of movements but despite being a fair few movements it was nowhere near what she would usually do. I always feel silly but I'm a worrier too & would always rather get checked.

My placenta is at the front with this one, so I don't feel as much as I did with my first. Mainly feel him at the sides and low down.

Have my next apt tomorrow where they start measuring my bump. With my first I was sent for growth scans due to a small bump. Don't think that will happen this time as I'm feeling huge. X

Hi girls. Will pop in and post pics of our nursery later tonight! Xx

Hi ladies (August mummy here and entered your tri 3 thread by accident and noticed some names I recognised) just read here that some of you are feeling extreme pressure in the last area and a heavy feeling? So thought I'd just share that I had the same thing and just felt it was a pregnancy ache until it started getting worse. Going for a number 2 it started to feel bulgy down there so discussed with midwife and she explained that some women get varicose veins in their hoohaa during pregnancy and it gives you these types of feelings. She advised me to look with a mirror next time I felt like it and sure enough I could see varicose veins down there. I was seeing physio for something else and the only real thing they can suggest is this jock strap type thing that holds everything up a bit easing the pressure

Just thought I'd let you know as I wasn't aware of this and it's such an embarrassing thing to have that people don't talk about it!

Knopk - I recognise your name from TTC, probably from having my daughter in 2014, did you have a baby around then? X

I've started on the baby clothes washing tonight! Looks so lovely having loads of tiny things hanging to dry!

So we had our nursery finished being painted a week ago today, and my dad came round to he,p build the furniture on Monday. So here we are... xx

Thanks for that Rose83, I feel quite like that, baby is head down so I've put it down to that but I'll be sure to have a look. X

That's lovely April4415!

A beautiful wall. I wish we had the walls to do something like this but they'd need replastered & right now it's a job for another time.

Beautiful nursery! X

Thank you Starchild, we love it. I can't help but look in every time I walk past when the door is open.

Hope everyone is feeling ok xx

Cati, can you look up your GTT results for me please?I want to know the norms they use in the UK.
I got 5.4 fasting and 5.4 after 2 hours and they want to diagnose me with GD here

I'm not actually sure, she just called and left me a message to say everything came back all fine the next day so I haven't been given any details. I'll find out :)
