November mummies 2017!!! Tri two.

What pram did you go for??

I'm undecided.

It is real quiet, I think we're all so busy with work & other things. Perhaps the tri 3 thread will be a bit more active.

25 weeks today for me. Not feeling the baby like I did with my daughter which is unnerving. It turned out I have anterior placenta. X

24 weeks yesterday for me.

I'm using my daughters iCandy Strawberry, I loved it with her and still do so looking forward to using it again. She's two so I'm trying to get her used to walking more rather than using a pushchair!

I was just looking at the whooping cough vaccine thread, has anyones midwife mentioned it? I don't see mine for another 4 weeks, I wonder it she'll talk about it then.

Hello!

I went swimming this weekend for the first time with a full on bump.. Oh my goodness was it difficult! With less lung capacity and being midriff-heavy, it was so tiring. It didn't help that I squeezed into a small size speedo swimming costume that could only just cope with my new found bulges.

Ordered a roomy maternity swimming costume now, can't wait for it to arrive :)

Is so quiet on here compared to thw last group i was in. Makes me sad :(
Would anyone prefer to make a fb group? Some find it easier to interact on there?
I can make a private group if people are keen?
Xxxx

Hi ladies :)
I have been completely gone for ageeees now!
I'm 21 weeks, and found out we are team blue! :) eeeek

Hope ur all well, just poking me nose in! Seems like I have lots to catch up on! X

Very quiet now in here girls. I still pop on for a quick read while I'm getting ready for work sometimes!

How is everyone feeling and getting on with preparations? Xx

I feel like we haven't prepared at all. We're planning our wedding at the same time, that, both working, looking after the toddler & doing up the house leaves very little time for baby prep.. which is quite sad actually but it's making it fly in.

I can't wait for maternity leave! Lol xx

My significant other always says he's very impressed with how organised I'm being... In reality I've just been given a lot of things by a lot of people and pretty much addicted to shopping, so it's been a breeze!

Hi ladies,is anyone suffering with the heartburn already? its been a couple of weeks for me already, I do carry very high though. Time ia flying esp with the children having finished school.

I've been having really bad heartburn recently, mostly when I'm in bed :(
Nothing seems to help

Sounds busy busy starchild! I loved planning my wedding although I didn't really have much else on!

The only things we've been given is a baby bath and bowl that I'm waiting for as my friend moved down south to a RAF base, and a few outfits as gifts. Everything else is new.

Not had any heartburn although a few in a fb group I'm in have been suffering.

When is everyone planning on starting the nursery? I can't wait to do ours! Xx

I feel for you. Esp bread, fruit and coffee seem to trigger it.
I am not doing the nursery as the baby will be with us for a while lol

I'm not doing a nursery as will probably be moving in Sept/Oct and then will share with my daughter when she's big enough. My daughter was in my room until she was 8/9 months old.

I didn't bother with a Moses basket, I had a wooden crib for my daughter and I'll be using that again. My daughter stayed in it until she was about 5 months then moved to her cot bed. Hoping to do the same again.

Heartburn has started for me too, probably a month now. Worse after drinking something fizzy.

Our daughter was in our room until around 1 year old. Mainly cause my OH worked nights & I was scared of using the baby monitor. This time I hope baby will be in his room before 1 yo as it was hard for me to let my daughter go after so long lol

I've been in so much discomfort today at work, my stomach feels so full all the time, & I keep getting a full ache on my lower right side. I'm exhausted too, I'm wondering how much longer I can cope with work.. getting up & ready for the 7am starts is hard enough & then coming home to my daughter & the cleaning/cooking/washing.. next time OH and I are off together to give each other a break is 2 weeks tomorrow! Ugh lol xx

What's everyone decided about maternity leave?

I'm going at 31 weeks, which means I've only got six weeks left! It's earlier than I'd like, but I'm doing 40-50 hours a week, 7.30am -6pm nearly every day plus looking after a 2 year old. I'm just shattered all the time. Work haven't been accommodating about doing shorter days and less hours, so I'm just taking my maternity leave.

We're going to have a holiday mid September and gives me some quality time with my daughter before baby arrives.

My mat leave officially starts at 37 weeks but I am leaving at 35 weeks as I have some annual leave to use up!!

I still need to sort mine out. But planned on working as long as possible. Although I'm so tired during work now, I think I need a sit down job.

Been having some discomfort in my right breast & had a feel (it's lumpy, had a biopsy almost 2 years ago which was fine & told I had fibrocystic changes.. ) I dunno if I'm feeling anything unusual but swear I felt a little hard lump near my nipple. Now I can't seem to find it? lol I get breast changes are a part of pregnancy but can't help worrying :(

Anyone else have fibrocystic breasts? X

After my last post saying I'm not doing a nursery - I've just won a cotbed, wardrobe and chest of drawers on eBay... It's all the same collection as my daughters cotbed so they'll have a co-ordinating room. I'm so excited!
